Vacation home with amenities of a resort! This amazing property is located within the 900-acre development of Mar Vista in Flamingo Beach. Amenities include tennis, ocean view clubhouse with infinity pool, jacuzzi, swim-up bar and amazing on-site restaurant (Gracia), hiking and biking trails, fitness center with yoga deck, and 24/7 security. If you ever need anything during your vacation, our concierge team is available to assist.



Dos Rios 70 consists of two split-level buildings connected by an upstairs deck/breezeway. With a large guest house containing 2 bedrooms and 3 full baths, and the main house features 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, this property will be perfect for large groups and multiple families. This listing is to rent the entire two-building property.



The smaller guest house (right side facing the ocean) has 2 bedrooms on the upper level. The main bedroom has a King bed, vaulted ceiling, two closets, and a spacious ensuite bathroom with dual vanity and a walk-in shower with shower bench. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, one closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms offer blackout shades, TVs (no cable), ceiling fans, A/C, and top-of-the-line mattresses and linens. These bedrooms boast spectacular ocean views from their sliding doors that open directly onto the shared balcony. From there, one can access the upper breezeway that connects to the main house. Need a travel crib? No problem! Just reach out our concierge team to arrange one. Keep in mind they are subjected to availability and have an additional charge.



The main level downstairs of the guest house has a full, well-equipped kitchen with a large granite-topped island with seating for 4. The kitchen is open to a living area with two Full-size futons that can accommodate an additional 2 guests. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a complete laundry room on the main level. The living area is equipped with a Smart LED TV (no cable), A/C, ceiling fan, and an assortment of games.



The larger main house (left side facing the ocean) has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on the upper level. There is also an office upstairs which can be used as a 5th bedroom on special request. The spacious principal bedroom has a coffered ceiling, a King bed, and two closets. The second bedroom has a King bed and one closet. The third bedroom has a Queen bed, one closet, and a desk with an adjustable office chair. All three of these bedrooms boast amazing ocean views from their large sliding glass doors which open out onto a huge upper deck overlooking the pool. The fourth bedroom is a bunk bedroom with two bunk beds full on the bottom and twin on the top and one closet. This room has a Jack and Jill bathroom that is only shared with the office, so if the office is not used, the bathroom is just for the bunk room. All bedrooms in the main house are equipped with blackout shades, Smart LED TVs (no cable), individually controlled ceiling fans and air conditioners, top-of-the-line mattresses and linens, and ensuite bathrooms with dual vanities and walk-in showers with dual showerheads (waterfall and handheld).



The final room upstairs in the main house is the office, which is only available on special request for an additional $150+tax per night. The office boasts a very large desk, adjustable office chair, one closet, a Queen sofa bed, and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. The large window above the desk has wonderful jungle views. The office has direct access to the large upper deck outside.



Downstairs in the main house, you will find a fully stocked gourmet kitchen featuring a huge island with seating for 6, stainless steel appliances, wood cabinetry, and granite countertops. The kitchen is open to the large dining area boasting a huge table with bench seating and a wine refrigerator. Sliding glass doors in the kitchen/dining area can be fully opened to the outside pool deck. The dining area opens into a living room equipped with a Queen sleeper sofa, armchairs, and an entertainment center with a large Smart LED TV (no cable). The living room sliders offer ocean views and direct access to the outside deck. There are also two bathrooms: A powder room and a spacious full bathroom with dual vanity, a walk-in shower with shower bench, and dual showerheads. There is a fully equipped laundry room on the main level.



The outdoor living area at Dos Rios 70 is truly spectacular! On the ground level, the kitchens/living areas for both houses open out onto an expansive travertine patio leading up to a 50-foot infinity pool. A dining table with padded chairs, cushioned loungers, and sofas create many gathering areas in both shade and sun. For those rare chilly nights (or just for ambiance) there is a gas firepit table. Enjoy the built-in gourmet BBQ, commercial icemaker, and kegerator plus bar seating at the granite-topped island. Between the houses is a tropical oasis with lush native plants and an outdoor shower. From the BBQ area, stairs lead to the upper deck (breezeway) area that connects the two houses. There you will find an additional dining table, padded loungers, and seating. This huge deck is perfect for yoga and or just relaxing and taking in the million-dollar view!



The total house (guest house and main combined) will sleep up to 18 people. There is reliable high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property. Meal preparation and maid service are optional upon request for a reasonable cost. As a guest of this property, we also include a complimentary amenities such as basic spices, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and shampoo/soaps, which are all included. The house is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, pool floats, folding beach chairs, coolers, and more!!! All of this while surrounded by a pristine jungle environment amongst nature and within a private, secure community, close to many area beaches, yet far enough away from the tourists and noise! We have done many things to make it feel like your home while you are with us here in Costa Rica!



The property sits on a hill and features a beautiful, spacious main home along with a separate casita. Just to add peace of mind and extra security, the owner has installed five security cameras around the property.

Two cameras are positioned on the corners of the casita, covering the entire backside of the mountain. One camera is located on the corner of the main house, monitoring the front area and main entrance. Another camera is placed at the back corner of the house, overseeing the rear perimeter. The fifth camera is installed in the driveway and garage

About the Area

Flamingo Beach is part of the Costa Rican Riviera and is located only 1.5 miles from the property. Flamingo boasts a beautiful mile-long white sand beach with a mild current and tide. This beach is perfect for swimming and sunning. One of the world’s most famous surfing beaches Playa Grande is only 45 minutes by car and the bustling surf town of Tamarindo is close enough to offer you more fun shopping, surf classes, and a bountiful selection of restaurants and nightspots. We recommend a rental car for this area to get around with ease. We can assist in setting up car rentals, airport transfers, tours, at-home services, and more!
