1) Our beach is now HUGE! The water has receded and there's substantial area to play.
And the boulder seawall has settled substantially so access to our beach is incredibly easy.
2) Our kitchen is renovated! We have all new natural stone countertops with a huge sink and multifunctional faucet, updated cabinets, and all new appliances including a gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, and coffeemaker.
3) The master bedroom has a new clothes rack with shelves (the other 2 bedrooms already have closets available).

1) We have updated our cleaning and disinfecting protocols for COVID-19!
2) The gas grill on the deck is brand new as of May 2020! We received a comment last year about the nature of our former grill, so to ensure your happiness, we've replaced it.
3) Lake Huron waters are incredibly high and have affected the shoreline. In June, due to the high water levels and proximity to the house, we had to put in a limestone and boulder sea wall. A few of the pictures of our beach are from the past few years before the sea wall. Please check the captions to ensure you are looking at the updated pictures.

This beautiful Oscoda beachfront home is located on the sugar sand beach of Lake Huron with 60 feet of frontage. The gorgeous Lake Huron beach and beautiful sunrises provide families with a quiet getaway. Relax in the shade under our covered deck or bask in the sun on the beach!

The beach house includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, family room with gas stone fireplace, mudroom with washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms (#1 master with queen; #2 bedroom with 2 twins; #3 bedroom with full / twin bunk; plus a pull out couch).

Walk out one of three large sliding glass doors onto an expansive beautiful partially covered composite deck. From there you enter the sugar sand beach and then view the beautiful shallow clear waters of Lake Huron. The deck is also equipped with an outdoor shower.

The street side of the home has a large grassy area, so there is plenty of space for yard games and there is a basketball hoop adjacent to the driveway.

The location is 2 miles south of Oscoda, which has its own public park (including playground and beach), restaurants, ice cream parlors, bowling, putt-putt, shopping, and a movie theatre. Approximately 9 miles south is East Tawas with a large arena, multitudes of restaurants, shopping and so much more! The home is also minutes away from canoeing, golfing, shopping, biking trails, berry picking, and numerous sight-seeing attractions (Lumberman's Monument, Eagle's Nest Overlooks, Iargo Springs, Canoer's Memorial, Tawas Point Lighthouse, and others).

Amenities: Fire pit on the beach with chairs, outdoor shower, volleyball, basketball, gas grill and outdoor dining furniture.

Family Room: Wifi TV & wireless internet.

Kitchen: Microwave, refrigerator, stovetop/oven, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, blender, dishes, pots & pans, glasses, silverware, and more.

Washer/Dryer. The bedroom floors, appliances, furniture and expansive composite deck and overhang are all new as of 2015. Everything is fresh, clean and ready to be enjoyed!

Please Note**** We typically rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday. We do have a few exceptions... please view the calendar. If there are blocks of days open that are less than 7 days (example Monday-Friday, 4 nights) we will most likely be able to accommodate the shorter stay if you rent the whole block. Please check the calendar for current availability.
