Beautiful Sandy Beach on Lake Huron

Beautiful, two story, 1300 square foot, beachfront cottage set on 100 feet of Lake Huron sugar sand beach. The 500 foot deep lot is lined with evergreens for perfect seclusion with a large lawn for outdoor activities. The three bedrooms accommodate sleeping for up to eight people. Bedroom 1 includes a king bed with an outdoor balcony overlooking the Lake. Bedroom 2 is private on the main level and has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds and one double for great sleep-over fun. There are two full baths, one on each level. While the cottage is secluded, it is located right in town and close to many restaurants, stores, and outdoor activities. Along with the beach, bonfires, and water fun, the area has great golf courses, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, kite surfing, and is close to Huron National Forest. The town of Oscoda has movie and music nights and nearby East Tawas has shopping, festivals, and art fairs. A great up-north Pure Michigan experience.

Wonderful location. Secluded, but still close to everything Oscoda has to offer. The water is clean and clear. Still a bit chilly in early June. Would love to visit again in the later summer months.

Great Stay

Hesitant to write a review since this is such a Gem and I don't want lose out on future bookings. What can I say... Million dollar beach, great swimming for kids--you can walk a ways out and it's knee high. The pictures do a nice job showing what the place is. It's cozy and perfect for 6 adults. We had 4 adults and a toddler which left 2 open beds. It's right in town but when you pull into the driveway it's like driving into an up north portal. Close to some nice golf courses, tawas, etc. Owner was available for questions but was hands off which was great. Very clean.

Great beach location

Beautiful, large sandy beachfront on Lake Huron. Home was clean and well stocked. Michael the owner was very easy to communicate with. Great place to stay with family.

Our New Favorite!

We had such a great time at this lovely Beach Home. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and three kids (5,8,12). The beach was perfect with soft sand, clear water, and firepit for smores. The yard was generous and perfect for kickball games, frisbee toss, etc. The home was cozy and comfortable, TV connection and internet perfect for our needs. The kitchen is compact but worked well for many home-cooked meals. The large table with bench was the perfect setting for many hours of family fun. Can't wait to book again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Getaway

Everything about the trip from start to finish was perfect!!! We had everything we needed in the house and it was far enough from the road to feel like you were away from the world, but walking distance to breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. Michael & Sharon are amazing host!

Absolutely Perfect

This is by far the most beautiful area in Oscoda! Perfect in every way. The house is located in the “city” part with grocery stores, and restaurants near by but, tucked inside a little wooded area where you wouldn’t even know it. The property is enclosed with mature trees & pines which provide privacy & seclusion, just like up north should feel. Huge, gorgeous sandy private beach right outside the door. No rocks or vegetation in site. Water is warm, clear and hundreds of feet of sandbar. Owners take great pride of their property as the deck & yard is surrounded with pretty, inviting landscaping. The house is spacious & was accommodating to our family of 6 staying the week. Looking forward to many more relaxing vacations in this beautiful home.

Great location!

We have stayed at this property for several years and always enjoy our time there. The ever-changing beach was very nice this year, which allowed for good walking. Timing was perfect for the 4th Holiday, as we got to watch the Oscoda fireworks display from the beach. Weather was pretty good this time but having lived in the area, we're well-aware that you get what you get in northen Michigan and you have to be prepared for just about anything.

Perfect getaway

This property is as advertised. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The views are excellent, and the beach is great. Jeff was an excellent host and answered any questions we had very promptly. Definitely recommend this property.

Great Place!

We had an amazing time! The house is adorable, clean, and on the beach! We enjoyed the fire pit, the back porch and of course the beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear water! We have been traveling for years and the group agreed this was our favorite house!

Spectacular View

This house is a great stay for couples or families. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The upper deck off the master is perfect for stargazing & sleeping to the sound of waves. The location is perfect, everything you need is close by. The beach was better than any rental we've stayed at in the past, our kids had a blast building sandcastles & playing outdoor games. The house has all the amenities you need, won't need to pack anything from home. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape busy life & have a week of making memories/relaxing.

Our Oscoda Getaway

We absolutely love coming to the cottage. This was our 3rd year there and plan to return every year. The location couldn’t be more perfect with walking distance to town while also feeling like you are “away” with the trees surrounding.

Beauty & The Beach! Relax and Enjoy this amazing property!

We stayed here for our 2nd time last week and absolutely love it! This home is the perfect lake front property with a cozy cottage feel. The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The massive beach area is by far our favorite part. Tons of space to play games, relax or build sand castles. The lake is perfect for young kids as it's very shallow with several small sand bars right in front. My 6 year old was able to go out about 20 feet without any issues. Did I mention there is a fire pit on the beach! The board walk is a nice mile walk down the beach. There is a park with a skate park! The last thing is its location, anything you forget to bring that might not already be in the home you can get from one of the stores all within walking distance. 2 grocery stores, G's pizza, Hungry Howie's, 2 dollar stores every fast food place you can think of and many more. You will not find a better home or owners to rent from! Thank you again for letting me and my family enjoy your amazing beach home! Already counting down the days until next year!

Lovely stay at the beach

My family of three had a wonderful stay at this property. The lake view is incredible! This was actually our second stay here, and it served us well both times. The location is extremely convenient to all that Oscoda and the surrounding area offers, with several restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity (including G’s Pizzeria and DQ!). The yard is very spacious, private, and well-maintained, with pretty landscaping and flowers throughout the property. We loved having meals on the back deck overlooking the lake. Our son had a blast playing on the big sandy beach which was very clean. We took advantage of the bonfire pit and enjoyed s’mores as well. The beachy decor throughout the home was really cute. All in all would definitely recommend this property and would love to return again one day!
