Your home away from home! Come stay and enjoy everything Cayucos has to offer! Remodeled beach home with beach inspired details. It's hard to leave this adorable home but a short stroll will get you to the beautiful beach. Don't leave your fur babies behind, 2 small dogs are welcome with a fee! There is a small fenced back yard area and there is a fence/gate to close off the front yard. The ocean, the beach, the sunsets! Everything you need to forget about life for a while. Contact owner for special requests and possible extra extra room access for an extra fee.

The home is just lovely. It has a casual beach feel that is welcoming and makes you feel comfortable the second you step inside. The house was super clean and well stocked with starter supplies. The owners were also very easy to communicate with. House is situated on a great street, steps from the beach. Just a perfect stay.

Perfect beach house!

Location and beach vibe

Spacious, clean, loved the beach vibe decorations. Really added to the vacation ambiance. Easy walk to beach and downtown Cayucos as well as all to other Central Coast destinations.

Great for a laid back beach get a way

So many great memories from staying here. Great beach, cozy place with really nice, large outdoor area. The house has a lot of amenities and owners were very responsive. I would love to come back some day!

Wonderful Cayucos Getaway!

Lori & Tom's adorable beach house is a wonderful getaway in lovely, quiet Cayucos. Close to the beach & town, their house is well furnished with a full, well appointed kitchen and offers a great spot to relax in the bright upstairs living room with walk-out deck with space to dine, view the ocean, and watch the spectacular sunsets. We enjoyed our stay and would come again!

Wonderful beach get away that was close to town and the beach! The house had all the amenities we needed for a perfect vacation. It was hard to leave!!

Great Location, Great Place, Great Owner

We rented the property for the month, Aug'24. The home is lovely and even better than the description. There is a very nice backyard with a seating area, of course the deck in front is so nice we didn't use it. However, it would be really nice alternative on a windy day. The house was very clean when we arrived and very well appointed, had everything we needed. The location is perfect with 2 public accesses to the beach just a few houses away and very walkable to town/restaurants. Also, the owner was great to work with, really accommodating, and very available. We would definitely stay again.

Great location in Cayucos

My husband and I stayed here a month while working remotely for our jobs. We loved the location (easy walk into town and steps from the beach). Communication with the owner was great and we so appreciated their willingness for an early check-in and late-checkout. The place is small and having more than one couple for a longer stay probably would not have worked. The back bedrooms are very small and musty (due to some leak issues during the heavy winter rain). But the master bedroom is spacious and the upstairs living space is great and light-filled. The house does have A LOT of beach-themed knickknacks. They cover every surface. We spent a lot of time storing them away so we had space to put things. So if you're not a fan of clutter, keep that in mind!

Also appreciate you letting us know about the leaking from the storms, the damage has since been addressed and repairs made. Sorry to hear our home wasn't a good fit for you. We had such a wonderful time!

My mother, husband and I were looking for somewhere to escape the extreme heat of August in our home town -- and boy did we choose the right location! Cayucos was a temperate 65-78 all month long! Many mornings rolled out a cool marine layer -- great for long walks on the beach -- which morphed into sunny breezy afternoons. Lori's house is half a block from the beach, and I'm a walker, so many a morning I hiked along the beach from Cayucos to Morro Bay, passing an amazing bird preserve and with the mysterious Morro Rock beckoning me on. The house was perfect and charming and clean and well stocked. Two small bedrooms and a bathroom in the back, and an open kitchen/dining and living area, very comfortable and inviting, in the front. A spacious side yard with patio furniture enlarges the space considerably and is very pleasant for an afternoon read. Really fun beach and ocean decor abounds in this house and yard, running the gamut from funky to kitchy to downright beautiful. Lori definitely has a collector's eye and a curator's ability to find the exact right spot for her art and objects. We had a blast exploring the environs. We visited Hearst Castle, Cambria, Harmony Creamery for ice cream and art, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Los Osos and more. We did not have the good fortune to meet Lori, but she was a very attentive host nevertheless.Lori made herself very available for any little request or need, and she never made me feel like the least bit of bother. I truly believed her when she said she wanted our stay to be perfect. And it was.

Cottage by the Sea

A wonderful beach getaway in the charming little beach town of Cayucos. A slower pace of life is just what you need for living the good life at the beach! This cottage has it all and is comfy and cozy! Perfect!

Perfect little house

This house was perfect for me and my husband and our dog. This house was perfect for the 3 of us. It’s cozy and has everything you would need to enjoy your time away from home. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend this house to anyone wanting to get away from it all .
