Welcome to Yonahlossee Getaway!

Experience a memorable getaway at the Yonahlossee Resort! Surrounded on three sides by Moses Cone and Julian Price national parks with over 7,000 acres to explore, Yonahlossee is located only 4 miles from the quaint downtown of Blowing Rock with shopping, restaurants, and more. Yonahlossee is only 7 miles from downtown Boone and Appalachian State University. Grandfather Vineyard and Winery is a convenient 6.4-mile drive.

This 2BR unit features two queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fireplace, a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a new HVAC system. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional accommodations. Enjoy the nearby access to Blowing Rock, Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Grandfather Mountain for hiking, skiing in the winter, shopping, and dining. Enjoy the onsite fitness center, or just get out and explore the winding acreage and streams of Yonahlossee.

This unit has Club membership at Yonahlossee, with access to the fitness center, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts (right outside the door), and more (additional fees may apply).
*Yonahlossee charges a daily fee for the use of amenities*

Enjoy miles of nearby trails, see the views and hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit the shops and sights of downtown Boone and Blowing Rock and return to Yonahlossee for an elegant dinner at the Gamekeeper Restaurant. Located between Blowing Rock and Boone, Yonahlossee is convenient to all attractions in the High Country!

Quiet location near Boone

This was a great location, just a few minutes into town, but very quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to, but be prepared for curvy mountain road. The condo had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location on the winding hill. The property was clean. Tye beds had something to be desired in terms of comfort. The hot water appears to be a tank heater, so keep the showers short.

Great place and stay

Clean and comfortable property for our family group of 3. Beautiful location and easy check-in/check-out. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again should the opportunity arise!

Great location for tennis players

Here's some comments Have 2 hand towels/bathroom, not 1; Only 1 dish towel and 1sponge in kitchen; no cleaning supplies in kitchen or bathrooms; Porch furniture very uncomfortable, needs more slats and thicker cushions; No salt in kitchen; needs a mirror in second bedroom; needs toilet brushes in bathrooms; kitchen inadequately supplied, not enough glasses, pots and pans old and scratched; renters need to told that there's a $10/player charge for each time playing tennis; View off deck hampered by tree limbs.

Great place to spend the week end

The condo felt clean and fresh. It could use a spring cleaning to get the walls cleaner. We didn't use the fire place but it was so nice that there was some wood ready to go. This is true of everywhere I have been: there aren't enough hooks, hangers, etc to hang wet towels and jackets.

Fall Getaway

The property was excellent for our needs. The location was beautiful and very close to hiking areas. The unit was very comfortable for four people. Our only problem was getting into the condo. We were not given the correct code but that was quickly settled by the rental agency.

Very Cute Rental!

This rental is conveniently located to Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed our Mother/Daughter weekend. I have just a few notes! 1. The sheets in guest room had quite a bit of hair adhered to them. It was short, dark hair and I thought it was lint at first. Luckily, we had a washer/dryer and they turned out just fine after laundering. 2. I would recommend updated thicker cushions for outdoor furniture. We were very excited to sit outside and sip our coffee in the morning, but the cushions had very little padding and we were unable to sit more than two minutes because of the wood slats beneath. 3. I would recommend doing something to smooth the track on the screen door at the back to the porch. We ended up getting it stuck a few times. We enjoyed use of the kitchen and all the pots/pans/utensils/coffee pot. We loved the streaming services on Roku and the large windows in the living room. Thank you! Alison

A very nice and comfy space. Just the right size for 4 adults needing a quiet spot to call "base" as we spent the week out and about, hiking, at breweries, eating out, riding around the area. It was really nice to have Netflix, Hulu, etc also. Some cosmetic things Need to be addressed. Broken bathroom fixtures, fire place was not cleaned out from who had been there before us, lots of burn marks on the carpet from coals so the carpet could use replacing, gas logs may be a better option than wood, kitchen countertops could use updating as there was a huge burnt spot on right side of the sink. We enjoyed tour stay, we have stayed in Yonahlosee several times and love the area. We will be back!!

Pleasantly surprised! We were celebrating our son's birthday weekend and it was a very cozy, clean and convenient to Blowing Rock and Boone. A plus that it was puppy friendly with lots of grounds to walk around. We plan to return.

Great Value

For the price was very clean and customer service was great. The AC broke while we were there and with a quick call to customer support they had it fixed by the time we had got back from lunch. Room is also a reasonable distance from Boone and Grandfather mountain so no time wasted on driving to places. Would definitely recommend for a couples cabin.

Wonderful Accommodations, Great Location

We absolutely loved Yonahlossee Getaway. The 2 BR condo is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and cozy. The kitchen was awesome, we didn't need a thing. Absolutely love the location, we walked to the pool and tennis pro shop and watched tennis from the deck! Gorgeous views of the colorful trees in the distance and could actually see the top of Grandfather Mountain. A perfect Getaway!

Yonahlossee Getaway

Had a wonderful weekend getaway at Yohanlossee. Cute little bungalow with 2 bedroom and 2 bath. Small but sufficient kitchen. Weather was rainy and foggy, but we caught up on our Netflix programs. Our only problem was finding an empty outlet where we could use ipads while charging, but other than that fun times.

Nice Retreat

Stayed here for the weekend and had a relaxing stay. If you're into tennis you would love it. The condo is well equipped and clean. Blowing Rock is a great town and enjoyed our visit.

We were disappointed with the view from the balcony to see all of the tennis court. The trees blocked it. The toilet and water pressure gave us problems. The place could have been cleaner. The screen door was broken. However the rental company quickly responded to the water issues which we appreciated.

Children were staying above us and we could hear the running around. The chairs on the deck were uncomfortable, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Exactly what we needed for a long weekend getaway

Property was clean, check in was was a breeze and had all the amenities we needed. My partner and I wanted a last minute getaway and not a long drive from Cary. It had everything we needed, we did cook some meals in and had plenty of cooking items. All in all, great place! We are looking to book another property for a larger party over the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be back!!
