Johnathan, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. and I’m so sorry if you felt watched. That would be icky for me too. I can assure you I just monitor who’s coming in. You’re right I do have a camera at the entrance. Half of my bookings put in incorrect amount of guests or pets. I’m not interested in what you’re doing. I’m just interested in the rules being kept. Because it cost me money when extra people or pets are there. It’s extra wear and tear on the unit or laundry to be done, etc.

Gosh, I’m so sorry you feel this way. I only monitor who’s coming in because so many guests do not put in the correct amount of guests or pets if you don’t then there’s an inaccurate charge to you. I could care less what you do in the unit as long as the rules are being kept. I do have a spa and if you read the rules, you would see that it was not in the listing. It’s used by the family. it and I can’t always promise it’s clean and ready to go. Many times I’ve allowed people to use it and things get broken. Not everybody knows how to take care of a Spa. I enjoy sharing the spacious high ceiling two bedrooms and remodeled, gorgeous bathroom. I live here at the house with my older son and much of the time we aren’t here. Hi Liz, it was a pleasure to host you. I’m sorry it wasn’t what you expected or a relaxing retreat for you as that I wish for my guests.. I did my very best to do accurate pictures and they express everything I have to offer. In El derado County to do rent short term, it needs to be under the roof of the original house. You cannot rent short term rental in an ADU. It’s a completely different permit for me to have a kitchen sink. There’s a bathroom sink that most people use. I wish you would’ve found the brand new griller right next to the barbecue. If you didn’t feel the barbecue was sufficient. I’m sorry about the dirty chairs and I’m getting my cleaners to get on that asap. That is totally unacceptable. And sorry you found them that way. Yes the two lounge chairs need to be discarded and they were today. So thank you for bringing those to my attention. I don’t know who you booked through. In my description, it’s clear the Hot Tub is not in the listing. If you book through Expedia, they add to people‘s listings, which isn’t fair to you and I’m sorry if that’s what you experienced. One time they even put a fireplace in my listing. Many people have used the fire pit. So I’m not quite sure what you meant by it was not in use. The mini splits need to be on the same mode. I’m realizing most people don’t know how to use the mini splits. They’re fairly new and worked great. If it wasn’t working for you, you could’ve called me for direction. I would’ve been happy to help. I sure hope you were comfortable with the temperature. Yes, when I got home Saturday night around 10 PM I did back up and it was close to your window and I unloaded that took me maybe five minutes. I’ve just undergone chemo and radiation for cancer and the last thing is I just got my knee replaced so I was in a lot of pain. I normally don’t do that cause I know my lights go into your bedroom. I’m very sorry that that disturbed you. I do wish you all the best and I’m sorry you had an uncomfortable stay. Renée

I’m so sorry you think this is falsely advertised. I tried to be clear what it available in the unit. I don’t think you could rent 2 rooms in a hotel for the price I give you. The back yard had lots room to hang out and yes I have chairs and TV tables you can set up along with your privacy. Running a business has many expenditure's you may not be aware of. I put my heart into making it comfortable for all.

Kevin and his party arrive three hours early before there check in time without any communication to me. I graciously let them check in early. It’s very clear in my policy not to leave your animals unattended. Kevin left his two dogs that bark three solid hours without a break. I do have a college students but I never ask them to be quiet. The backyard is free for your use and to enjoy with no restrictions except to keep decent hours and be respectful to others. My rude message was to please come pick up your dogs. They are not to be left alone after two hours of them barking. I’m sorry they didn’t read my listing very well or the book I provide to make things easy and expectations clear when they arrive as I gave them instructions to do before their arrival. Yes I’m dog friendly, but I’m not a dog sitter.
