OCEANVIEW Avon - Marlin Drive - Don't tell Montana that BIG SKY country is really in North Carolina. Big is the main ingredient for the ocean views and fun in this light and airy home, just 3 lots from the ocean with easy beach access. Choose from three bedrooms, one with two single beds, and one with a queen bed that share a hall bath, and one queen master with private bath and door to the covered deck with built-in seat. The top-level great room has cedar wood walls, bamboo floors and plenty of windows to catch the sun's rays. There is a nook with game table, kitchen with all the conveniences of home, and dining table next to the slider to the screened porch with picnic table for dining al fresco. Gather around the large flat screen HDTV with DVD player after dinner for a star-studded movie then step out onto the deck to do some BIG SKY stargazing.

Great location awesome property

Easy check in, very clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds and furniture. Really enjoyed the deck and ocean views. Short walk to an incredible beach. Very responsive management company. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was good for our needs. The only issues we had was the cargo lift didnt work most of the time and the front door lock was temperamental as it was right by the screen door latch and had a few pinched fingers. We loved the area and the property manager was great!

A perfect family getaway spot

Big Sky was a perfect, cozy, spacious home for us to crash in for the week in the OBX. Clean and comfy with all the amenities you need when you travel for a week. We loved the big windows on the top floor that give you the “Big Sky” view of the ocean in the distance. We’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for a lovely spring break stay

I stayed with my two tweens for a week at Blue Sky. Both kids insisted on the Outer Banks for spring break after watching the show on Netflix, and we chose to stay on Hatteras Island for a vibe that's a little closer to what's on the show (which is filmed in SC!). Blue Sky was available at a great price, and far exceeded my expectations. All of the rooms were comfortably furnished, the open floor plan of the kitchen/living room/dining area made for great family time, and the views of both sunrise and sunset were the icing on the cake. I appreciated all of the outdoor seating that was available, including the screened porch with a picnic table for outdoor meals. The cargo lift to get our luggage and such upstairs without having to lug it was SUCH a lifesaver! The property's location was better than I could have hoped. Several restaurants and shops were within easy walking distance, and beach access was a very short walk. The beach itself was wide and gorgeous. We loved hanging out there. While this part of the Outer Banks has fewer shops and restaurants than the northern section, there is a Food Lion less than five minutes away, Duck Donuts, and PLENTY of outstanding restaurants. We also really enjoyed the escape room we did at Escape Hatteras! Great spot, and we would love to come again!

Family Vacation with Adult Kids

House was nice and the full time homeowners on street were awesome. Early check-in door code did not work and had to go to office to get new code. Kitchen needs a deep clean/new dishes . Game table area was nice to have.

When we arrived the kitchen was dirty.

Kitchen dirty. We ordered our beach chairs and wagon, don’t order a wagon you’ll kill yourselves taking it to and from the beach. We actually had someone take our beach gear before we got there. The people were great and brought us out more chairs. Showers are AWFUL! Last night we were there we came back and saw our things had been messed with, finally got a hold of someone from surf or sand realty on our way home, they said sorry someone should have notified me they had someone checking for bed bugs. They really didn’t care that we were unhappy at all. We weren’t the ones wanting to be checked for bugs. So overall not happy.

Awesome house! Great location for kiteboarders.

Had a great time with our two sons ages 21 and 18. Spacious house, great views, perfect location. Had all the amenities we needed. 21 year old kite boards and went out from Kite Beach. 18 year old enjoyed Dune Hang Gliding, Hover Jetting, paddleboarding, and riding the waves at The Point. Perfect family trip before heading back to college. Would definitely book again!
