OCEANVIEW Avon - Angelfish Road - Easy access to the beach is just steps away as PARROT'DISE is only 2 lots back from the beach. You'll love the mesmerizing oceanfront view right from the living room or while relaxing in an Adirondack chair on the sundeck. The early risers in your group will be treated to phenomenal sunrises. This nicely appointed and comfortable home is decorated with a fun, island flair and is well-equipped for your stay. A separate kids' getaway on the first floor allows parents time and space to unwind. After a fun-filled day at the beach you can relax in the 6-person hot tub. Plan to spend your vacation this year in PARROT'DISE.

Full linens including sheets (with beds made), bath towels, hand towels, washcloths provided May 23 - September 4, 2026.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

This property is managed by Surf or Sound Realty.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy, or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Awesome Beach House!

We loved the location of this house, just a short walk to the beach. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. The view from the deck is awesome, we could see the ocean while drinking our coffee in the morning. Hot tub was clean and we used it a lot with our kids in the evening. Would highly recommend this house!!

Great place to stay in Avon

Parrot’dise was the perfect home for our week in Avon. The sunrises from the balcony greeted us each morning, and the outdoor shower and hot tub were perfect for after a day on the beach. We would definitely consider renting here again. Also, while you are in Avon, check out Surf's Up Seafood for the freshest seafood and awesome service.

Easy access to beach and town

Centrally located to several of Avon's restaurants and very quick walk to the beach. We brought our dog and were able to walk to several amenities, including the Pier. Loved watching the surfers. But beware, this house has three stories. We got our workout going up and down them. We enjoyed the beach views.

Hi Kara, Thank you for your review. We're thrilled that you found the home location so convenient to many of the local attractions. Yes, most of the homes on Hatteras Island and the Outer Banks have "reverse floorplans", meaning the Great Room and Kitchen are on the top floor. This is to allow for the best view of the ocean or sound as possible. We do understand that it is a climb up to the top, but that's where the best views usually are. We hope to see you again soon!

Loved it!

I enjoyed the visit but I missed the part about 4 flights up and down. 😉 The check-in process was easy and done via text. Nice, quiet location and just a little ways to the broadest beach I have ever seen. Lots of fishing along the water.

Great location

The house was just right for 3 of us and a dog. I do think it would be crowded with anymore than that. The deck is a great spot to relax and view the ocean. Kitchen sufficiently stocked with equipment made it easy to cook in. Beds were very comfortable. And the walk to the beach was super short and easy. Quick access to stores and restaurants.

Nice place and good location. Well stocked with all kitchen amenities. Little tight for moving around the kitchen and main living area, otherwise all good. Outdoor shower and space could use a little pressure washing and pest treatment, spiders have made homes everywhere such that you walk through webs each morning.

Nice spot in Avon

This house worked well for our crew of 4 adults and 4 children (ages 4-10). Everyone had their own space. Kitchen was a bit tight but well stocked. Hot tub was clean. The house is close to the beach. But the walk is a long trek through the dunes (be prepared) and there are steps so don’t bother trying to put things in a beach cart. There were boogie boards and beach toys in the shed that aren’t in the listing so we had brought our own. It would be nice if the owners added chairs for renters. Overall, the house was pretty much what we expected and we enjoyed our stay.

Property was ok. Rooms a little small and steps a little steep. We moved a dresser from one bedroom to the bunk room as there was not enough storage room for clothes. The cottage was clean and well appointed but each floor felt cramped. Felt like we were in an elevator shaft with decking around each floor. I suppose I didn’t do my homework as to the size and layout of the rooms. I was dissaointed with the whole thing. The beach was too difficult for my wife to get Other places we rented in the pastwere closer to the water but that was not in the outer banks. I expected more

* Bug issue, 2 counts of palmetto bugs inside house, 3 counts of flying ant/termite type insect. * Jacuzzi light nor high jets functioned, temp reach 107 when set to 103. Over all great time. Appreciate the arrival gift.

Great beach week

This house was great. We loved it, I especially liked the top deck for sunrise, moonrise and just hanging out reading and visiting. Our daughter brought her dog, we blocked off the outside stairs and he had run of the deck. Great house and location- highly recommend it.

Great house bad neighbors

The house was amazing, my family enjoyed the location very much! The only complaint was the neighbor in the backyard who lives there was very rude and didn’t like the fact there was a dog or child there making some noise on the patio!! We didn’t let it bother us as again the house and beach were amazing

Summer 2021 vacation

Property was very damp especially the first two floors. There were some nice updates but offset by only having one shower. The shower on the second floor didn’t work. Community area was a bit small and no table outside where you could eat. Disappointed that there was only one beach chair. Linens service didn’t include bath towels was disappointing too. It felt like a rental property. Lastly this is entirely out of the owners control but the neighboring yards lawn was cut and the landscaper blew all the burrs onto the driveway. Someone always seemed to step on some including the dog.

Relaxing beach vacation

After a much needed vacation, my family has a great stay at Parrot’dise in Avon, NC.... beautiful home away from the hustle bustle! Loved everything about the beach house, the beach and the area!! Highly recommend!

Very functional living with great views.

It's a very nice place for a small family. The decks are the highlight of this home. The top deck has splendid ocean views; the lower deck offers shade without feeling enclosed; the hot tub is clean, spacious and private; the outdoor shower is clean and nice. The only minuses are the LR furniture was uncomfortable and the kitchen is very narrow and bit of a tight squeeeze. Lovely well kept home with superior views. Top notch for any vacation.
