Located at the south end of Payette Lake, this house offers easy access to aquatic activities with the option to dock your own boat, plus plenty of yard area to relax and have fun in the sun. Just up the road, you'll find a number of dining options, and a golf course sits conveniently close by. When you're not having fun on the water, chill on one of the decks overlooking the lake with a good novel or board game. Cooking up meals for the whole crew is possible thanks to a gas grill and fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher to make clean-up easier. After dinner, gather around the fire to share stories or put a movie on the flatscreen cable TV. Free WiFi and a private washer/dryer will make you feel right at home.

Beautiful beachfront property!

I don’t think you could get a better location! We loved being right on the water, the dock and waterfront situation were unbeatable. It was nice to be walking distance to downtown. Lovely cabin feel, and we loved having the private space in the basement where the Teenagers could hang out. The main floor kitchen is a little tight, but the spacious basement kitchen makes up for that. I would love to stay here again!

Location is amazing

This is an older property so dont expect anything fancy, we enjoyed the location and dock very much. It had lots of room for people to spread out and has 2 full kitchens. Parking was great.

3 Levels of fun!

We had a large group staying and it really was a perfect venue. We loved the yard, the dock, and the hot tub. There were ALOT of stairs! You better be physically fit! But overall, a very enjoyable weekend.

Perfect Location!

We stayed 8/18/24 - 8/25/24. The three decks, lawn area, small beach, private dock, and hot tub were absolutely perfect for a week on Payette Lake in McCall. We loved the detached unit downstairs with separate updated kitchen and laundry for our adult kids. 2-3 minute drive to downtown McCall & Albertsons. Short walk to Shore Lodge. Couldn’t have asked for a better location! Unfortunately when we tried to book for next August, it was already fully booked😔

My first review that is not 5 star

Drove 3 days with a 2 year old and upon arriving, both sets of keys given to us would not unlock any of the doors. Someone was sent to help and he could not get in either so we ended up waiting outside of the cabin for 2 hours and a locksmith had to get us in. We spent almost $3000 on a pontoon boat rental for the week - no refunds, only to find that the dock had been pulled from the water without anyone informing us. Anytime we wanted to flush the upstairs toilet we had to stick our hand in the tank to make it stop running. I was surprised at the amount of broken glass on the beach. None of the fireplaces worked, upstairs TV & DVD player has issues, DVD player won't power on at all. We have stayed in many vacation rentals all over the US and have never had any of the issues that we had here. Lee from property management was a great help but other than that, it was disappointing to pay this much per night and have so many issues. Definitely coming back to McCall but choosing a different rental next time.

Check out time.

Great property and I would stay there again. The checkout time is a bit of a head scratcher to me as checking in is 4 PM. With the amount of money we are paying, I would think 12-1 o’clock checkout time would be sufficient enough for the cleaning crew to get in and out. That is really my only problem

Great for Family Reunions...needs to be updated for the price

My family stayed in the Crispin Home for 1 week this August to celebrate a family reunion. The location of the home met and exceeded our expectations. We had everything we needed within easy access...downtown shopping/food, lake access w/ dock, park for young kids, and more... The dock was the highlight for us as we were able to bring our own boat and use it whenever we wanted. This made for some great family fun! Having 2 kitchens was a real nice addition as this allowed us to use upstairs for the large family dinner preparation and then we used the downstairs for the early morning coffee/breakfast (while others still slept upstairs). As others have written, the house decor and appliances are clearly outdated and could use an upgrade. We knew that going in so it wasn't a surprise. In addition, the hot tub had leaves/dirt in it, but not enough that it prevented us from using. For the price we paid, I would highly recommend some reinvestment in the property if you want to expand your customer base. That said, we had a good time and would recommend this house for family reunions!

Great Lakeside Gathering Spot

Excellent location! Backyard and decks were wonderful for everyone to gather. Hot tub was clean & usable. The house comfortably accommodates multiple guests; the separate downstairs unit worked well for our group and having two full kitchens was a plus. Overall, we were pleased with the property and would definitely stay again. It’s an older property - not fancy (which is absolutely fine) - everything was in working order. Cleanliness was OK, given the quick turnaround between guest departures & arrivals…but the place could definitely use a thorough deep cleaning when time allows.

Fun family time together

Great place for annual week together. Beautiful dock and great view. Upstairs kitchen is small and downstairs kitchen nicer but not as convenient to upper deck where we preferred to eat. Railing on right side of middle deck when facing lake is loose and missing some anchors. Needs to be fixed before worsens and allows someone to fall.

Dated and dirty

This house did look a little dated in the pictures, but they did a great job of disguising the general dark and dank quality of the house. It is extremely overpriced for the condition. The pillows and linens were old and stained. The kitchen was disorganized and dirty. The dresser in one of the bedrooms was so dirty that I didn’t want to use the drawers. All of the furniture was old, worn and oddly arranged. They had a note not to move it because of the wear and tear, too late! The deck furniture was cheap and generally uncomfortable. They obviously put no money or effort into making this a comfortable place for renters. They charge top dollar and provide none of the comforts. The location is great and I know the options are limited to be right on the lake. Just be aware of how funky the house is before you rent it.

Great lakefront

We loved being on the lake for ease and accessibility. The house is roomy and well supplied with everything you need, especially outdoor eating and play. The hot tub was not clean on arrival but I was not aware until later in our stay or I would have called management. We enjoyed the tub anyway and did what we could to clean it. I tried before our arrival to talk to someone locally about the house but could not ever seem to get past the larger network or anyone who could answer my questions beyond info in listing. It would have been nice to have been able to talk to someone who actually knew the home personally. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the home esp for the beautiful location.

Great location and layout!

The location was perfect, walking distance to downtown McCall and just a 5 minute walk to Shore Lodge. The layout is great for big groups because 5 couples can have their own rooms and the beds are comfortable!

Great Location in McCall

This property is located in the perfect spot to enjoy McCall. The large dock on the lake and outdoor space make this house an Oasis for summer time. We spent the majority of time outside and on the lake. The inside of the house as pictures show are accurate. I took away a star due to the fact that we were told there was deep cleaning done, however tags of clothes in drawers, toys and wrappers in couches and the couches were not vacuumed under neath or moved for cleaning, The oven in the kitchen was broken upstairs luckily there is second kitchen in the downstairs apartment, that we could use. BBQ was great and very clean and enjoyed the outdoor tables on the deck for dining.

Great Lake Cabin

This was a very roomy and well stocked house to make our stay easy and carefree. The location is perfect and the ability to rent a boat and park it at the dock all week made our trip perfect!

Had a wonderful stay.

Loved the dock with sandy beach for the kids. Downstairs was a whole separate living space for one of the families, and we stayed upstairs with plenty of room. Grill and hot tub were awesome. We were very comfortable and close to town.
