Golfing and Fishing Dream - Lake House on Wilson Lake

This lake house has an easy slope to the pier and beautiful views from almost every room in the house. There is a boat slip for guests who want to bring their boat. It features three bedrooms, two baths and two living areas (one with sofa bed). There is a full kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs. It is a short drive to shopping and restaurants. Very close to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Course in Muscle Shoals.
The house is only two miles from a grocery store and wine/liquor store. Stanfield's Steak House is also close. It is a short drive to the attractions and restaurants in Muscle Shoals, Florence and Tuscumbia.

Perfect family getaway

This was our second year in a row. Everything is as described. This is the perfect family vacation getaway. The views of the water are amazing and it’s so peaceful sitting under the trees looking at the water. We had our pontoon boat and enjoyed all the TN River has to offer. Swimming and fishing galore.

Family Birthday Getaway Weekend

Thanks for sharing your home with us. My Dad is from this area and I treated him to a trip home. We loved your record collection and the coziness of your home. We fished off the dock and watched the boats go by. Great relaxing location!

Great from start to finish, home owners checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed the neighbors are nice quiet area easy to get in and out. The home has everything a family needs on a get away and alot more. My wife just wants to say thank you as well for making her birthday special.

Absolutely perfect

I just can’t say enough about this property. It was clean, fully stocked with everything you could think of. The views of the lake are amazing and no steps down to the water. Nice grassy back yard for games or just sitting by the water under the shade trees. Fire pit right on the water as well. Camille is so easy to work with and checked on us several times and told said about fireworks that were happening near by. 5 star all around!

Perfect getaway

We came in town for a baseball tournament, and never had stayed in Muscle Shoals. What a treat!! The property location was perfect. It’s close to everything but tucked away in a great spot. The house had everything you could need and more. Our family is definitely hoping to return next summer.

Christmas 2023

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at this property and it is perfect for our needs. Summer or Winter our family and friends that visit are always comfortable and excited for all the things to do in the Shoals. Whether it's RTJ golf, the Handy Festival in July, fishing from the dock, summer water sports, all ages in our family enjoy visiting this get away. Great place for family get away

We spent 3 nights at this lovely home. Two - 50 somethings, one - 20 something and two- 80 somethings. The home is in a great location, decorated very nicely, comfortable beds, clean and well stocked! Owner was friendly, and a great communicator. We fished off the dock, rented a boat to cruise around the lake, enjoyed 2 nights at the firepit, met the sweet neighbors and had yummy dinners in Florence and Muscle Shoals. My only note is that the stairs are very steep - worked out fine for us because we put my folks in the primary bedrm on the main floor so they were able to keep the stair climbing to a minimum. Highly recommend.

Fully equipped!

I’ve never stayed in a rental that felt more like a home. Fully equipped throughout, and we loved the record player and records. It’s evident the owner went the extra mile to make sure the house has everything anyone could need. Note: The staircase is probably not safe for young children, so plan accordingly if you have toddlers.

Great for golfers!

This is a perfect place to stay if you’re in town to play the RTJ Trail in Muscle Shoals. We golfed in the mornings then spent the afternoons and evenings relaxing at the lake house. The owner is incredibly nice and readily available if there’s anything you need. We hope to return soon!

We have enjoyed staying at this home twice! The owners are Wonderful and I can't speak highly enough about them. The neighbors are also very nice people and we have loved visiting with them. The home fits our families needs and is very well furnished with all the things that made our month long stay very comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat!

Family-friendly lake house great for dogs

We loved staying at Camille and Al's property. It was a great space for our family. Highlights were the gorgeous view, the great family spaces (kitchen, two living areas, large dining table), the well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, and the ease of communication with the hosts! They decorated beautifully, beds were comfy, and anything we needed for cooking was readily available in the fridges/cabinets. Fishing was great (based on what I saw, we didn't fish) and plenty of people boated and jet-skied happily by! A couple of caveats were that the cleaning crew didn't do a super thorough job before we arrived, so the dog-friendliness of the space was extremely apparent...if we didn't have three dogs with us as well, we would have been pretty turned off. Hopefully that's an easy fix by the cleaners. Additionally, the mosquitos/bugs were INSANE; every time we opened any door (quick as could be!), at least a dozen bugs would swarm inside. Maybe some zappers/fly swatters would be helpful? Lastly the stairs to the bottom floor are extremely steep (so fair warning,) and noise carried from top floor to bottom quite easily, so just FYI. As our family grows, I think we'll probably have to upsize to more bedrooms, but if I ever come back with a 6 or fewer people, I'd definitely consider staying again at this property!

Perfect Spot for RTJ Getaway

We stayed here for our golf weekend while playing the RTJ trail golf courses in MuscleShoals. The location is 7 minutes from the golf courses and it is everything you want in a lake house!

Al's grandfather owned a house right across the slough from this house. It has since been torn down and the lot is soon to be developed. This area of Donegan's Slough is very special to Al.
