Come and enjoy the beach in this affordable condo that sleeps six comfortably. Beautifully decorated condo with balcony. Just a short walk to the beach and you will see why this unit will begin booking up fast. Located in the "C" building, second floor, you're just mere steps to the pool and tennis court, so bring the suntan lotion and be ready for a great vacation.

This lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo features a fully stocked kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, just in case you decide not to eat out . There is a large walk-in pantry with many kitchen/cooking supplies to choose from as well a spice rack. You're going to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that this unit brings.

With a flat screen TV in the living room, you can sit back on the very comfortable couch or lay in the comfortable king size master bed and just know that you made the right chose. There is wireless Internet in the unit for your convenience.

The condo has 2 upgraded full baths. In addition, the condo also has a full size washer and dryer, balcony wth balcony furniture and the list goes on. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. All linens and bath towels are also provided. Just bring your clothes and some food and your ready to enjoy.

Did I mention that you can bring your boat, jet ski, or your kayaks? Yes, you can. There is a grassy strip for smaller-boat parking on the property at Building A and a boat ramp right down the block at the Intracoastal waterway . You can't get any closer. The view outside of the screened-in patio to the right is the Intracoastal waterway with boat ramp. Across the street is an entrance to the beach.

Stay at Pelican Inlet

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Inlet. It is at a great location, just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. The management team responded very quickly to our concerns concerning TV and air conditioning issues.

Unclean

First of all the property listing on VRBO was inaccurate. The description indicated the bathrooms were updated. It did not look like they had been touched since the 1970's. The listing also stated that there was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board; all of which were not there. It also stated there was a walk-in pantry which was not there; maybe this is where the iron and ironing board were. We had trouble getting in with they keys provided as the lock was very touchy; however the property manage came and assisted us. Once in, the unit was unclean. The toilet needed to be scrubbed and the counter tops needed wiping. When I moved the blender, there was food on the counter. Not only did I have to clean the unit myself; there was nothing to clean it with. I had to go to the store to purchase cleaning products as well as rags to clean it with. On the upside the condo facility had a nice pool area, tennis courts, pickleball courts and various lawn games as well as a nice gas grill area.

Disappointed

The shower in the master bath slopes, I fell the first night. The air did not work. By mid afternoon we had to move to another location not even at the complex. Wasted most of day moving. Was still charged for first night.

St Augustine Vacation

Poor cleaning. Toilets not cleaned, carpet very nasty. Could not take shower no water pressure. Unit did not smell good. Refrigerator was not cooling turned it up then my product turned to ice no happy medium with the refrig it was either very cold or warm. Also when I ask the rental agency about stairs she said stairs yes but not bad. Wrong many stairs it rained stairs get wet very dangerous to go up and down especially carry your stuff. Unit needs repairs on toilet seats should be replaced and the carpet needs paint and new furniture. Furinture very uncomfortable. Very dissatisfied.

Lovely condo steps from the beach and pool

Residents harass guests

The condo itself was fine and you get what you pay for. My husband arrived late and thought he parked in a free spot. The next morning we discovered someone had written on the back, hood and side in chalk that he would be towed. It has put many deep scratches on the truck. I get he was not parked in the right space but the numbers were faded and there were ALOT of open spaces available. Our boys were also yelled out 3 or 4 times by older residents who live at the complex. They were told they were not using the pool noddles right and threatened to call the Sheriff. I would not recommend staying here based on the residents, who obviously do not want visitors there.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property was across the street from the beach which was great. We did not utilize the pool or tennis courts. I would not however recommend this particular unit that we stayed in. The very first thing we noticed were live roaches in every room of the unit. The unit also did not appear to have been cleaned. There was dirt in the entryway and personal hairs in the bathroom, if you know what I mean. The carpet in the unit is stained and appears dirty. The first thing I did besides killing the roaches was to vacuum. After looking at pictures of other units that this management company rents you could tell that this one is very outdated. All of the other units that they rent have been updated and look very nice. I would not stay in this particular unit again. The management company was great. They brought us a brand new hairdryer when the unit didn’t have one. I would not rent this particular unit again but I would try one of their nicer ones.
