Stay just Northwest of Forsyth Park and within walking distance to all of Savannah's shopping, dining, and attractions. Two Lucky guests will call this quaint cottage home - fit with a master bedroom and full kitchen.

Enter through the courtyard off Whitaker Street and into your peaceful oasis. Cobb's Cottage is the ground-level carriage apartment behind a Savannah manor. Walk into the main living area with ample places to kick back and relax. A full kitchen with range and refrigerator provides the essentials needed for a quick meal. The primary bedroom boasts a Queen size bed with luxury-grade linens and en suite full bath.

Head due East and grab brunch with the locals at Clary's Cafe. Stop into ShopSCAD and nearby retailers in the Downtown Design District to take home a Savannah souvenir. Just a short walk North will lead you further into the charming historic district.

What is parking like for this home?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or park on a nearby non-metered street. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

Excellent location next to Forsyth Park but apartment is very dated, both decor and physical structure. There's very little natural light due to proximity to sidewalks since all blinds have to be closed for privacy. There's a lot of car and public event noise.

Cute but had its cons

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My fiancĆ©e and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Originally, our wedding was going to be in December but we moved it up. Lucky Savannah was very good with switching our dates and giving us another place that was available for our September-October dates. The place overall was cute and charming. However, I wasnā€™t very happy with the amenities. For example, the parking situation was extremely stressful. There were only the two options: metered parking on the street or a parking garage that was a 20 minute walk which we didnā€™t feel comfortable doing at night. The tv only had local channels. The internet was very spotty. Overall, those were our biggest problems. The property was charming yet had some minor issues.

The furniture should be taken to the dump. The place was so outdated. The bed was nice and comfortable,however, the blinds and curtains let in too much light. The light outside was shining through the door ao we had to put a towel up. I could not nap during the day as it was too light. The bathroom was a joke. Toilet so low seems made for a child and sink vanity too low too. People upstairs made lots of walking noise and must have been running something after 9 at night.. So while the location is prime, the unit was terrible. Also No internet for TV the entire time. 2 coffee cups with coffee stains in cupboard for use. The entire place needs work.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time in Savannah and appreciated the large Forsythe park across the street. The cottage was adequate for the two of us. It feels a little dingier than it appears in the pictures. The dresser in the closet was unusual. The wifi dropped Friday for the better part of the afternoon and evening but the company was responsive and attenpted to help. Most confusing though was the instructions in the binder which say to load the dishwasher. Alas, no dishwasher was there, and in fairness there's not one in the listing but I had not noticed. Under the sink there are even dishwasher tablets so it was really strange. Also that they gave us laundry detergent when there's no laundry either. There was a coffee maker and we were given a complimentary packet of coffee but no creamer or sugar so really didn't work for us. Aside from that it was clean and adequate for our needs for the few days we were there.

Perfect location near Forsyth Park

Right across the street from Forsyth Park and the DOT bus stop. Easy walking distance or DOT ride to museums, parks, squares, dining/bars, shopping, River area. Quiet area. Lovely architecture. And a Kroger grocery store is an easy walk for any in-room desires.

Great Location

This property was ideally located for those who want to walk around Savannah. Just north of Forsyth Park we could easily walk all over the historic district. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's an older location but fit in with the history of Savannah.

Cozy and comfortable - perfect for a couple.

The unit is a street level flat and very conveniently located adjacent to Forsyth Park in a quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and it was nice to use the kitchen for breakfasts and snacks. The on street parking was no problem at all. Everyone we met was friendly and courteous. We will be back and would definitely stay there again.

The property was quaint, comfortable and in a great location, especially for walking our dog. We got a parking pass to park on the street and were always able to find a parking spot. There is a back alleyway where you can park to unload/load your vehicle. Lovely visit to Savannah - beautiful city!

Great Location

My sister and I were in Savannah for three nights. This VRBO was perfect for us. We were next to Forsyth park and could walk to Bay st and River st. We found street parking easily and bought the two day parking pass at the Savannah parking office. The bed was comfortable and we had enough room to spread out. We would stay here again on our next visit.
