This cabin sits just a few feet from Strawberry Creek and features family-friendly amenities for your next vacation among the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains. Whether you're exploring the state parks, heading out on one of the nearby lakes, or attending the International Festival of Cinema, enjoy it all from this rental.

Perfect for a family reunion or holiday celebration, this spacious, two-level cabin offers free WiFi to make it easy to plan out your days and a smart TV with Netflix streaming in case you want to watch a favorite show or some movies. If the weather isn't cooperating, warm yourself by the wood fireplace or play some of the provided board games at the dining room table. In warm weather, gather outside on the large, furnished deck.

THINGS TO KNOW
Riverside County regulations prohibit any 'party' lighting (outdoor luminaires shall not blink, flash, or rotate) and will hold guests liable for any 'light trespass' on surrounding properties.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are active security cameras outside the home. One is pointed at the front door and perimeter. A second one is pointed at the backyard patio area. These are not actively monitored while guests are in the home.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A Great Location!

We stayed here with an another family and their 2 dogs. Plenty of space and very cozy. It’s clean and the location is amazing. Will stay again.

Nice place for family with dogs

This cabin is located in amazing spot right next to a creek and close to town. It is very comfortable with lots of space. It is an older cabin, but was a great place to stay with dogs. There is a hot tub which we wish we knew about before we came as we would’ve brought our swimsuits. All of the amenities listed in the posting were present and the beds were very comfortable. There was a slight gas odor in the kitchen area. When we reported it, they sent someone out to look right away. However, he was not able to figure out the problem, so hopefully they get someone in to permanently fix the issue as we read some of the previous reviews that mention this same thing. However, the odor was very faint and did not ruin my experience. There is no air conditioning (which we knew about ahead of time from the listing) and it was a little tough to cool down the upstairs. So if you are someone that likes it very cool at night, might want to consider sleeping downstairs. If you have a family with dogs, this would be a great place to stay!

Great, with a few problems

Everything was great, except a few problems that the owner should deal with. The driveway is narrow and windy, and should be widened or given some kind of guard rails. The upstairs shower only gave dangerously hot water. The downstairs shower valve took a lot of strength to open and close.

Dubs Delight 😊

The getaway and property itself was great and I loved that my dog was able to practically run free on the property. However, there were cobwebs in all the windows and dead bugs in the webs. There were cobwebs hanging from the light fixtures and the place was dusty which sent my daughters allergies into a tailspin.. The dryer is leaking gas and woke us up in the middle of the night...my sister and nephew are still feeling off today from the fumes. The carpet smelled of animal urine and there were some old stains on the bedding. I really loved the property but feel the cleaning company could do a much better job of cleaning between guest , especially since each customer gets charges a cleaning fee up fromt.

Great property if you are traveling with dogs!

Quiet neighborhood, property is fully fenced so we were all able to enjoy our stay without worry! Well stocked, fantastic deck, hot tub, bbq, perfect for relaxing amongst the trees. We will be back for sure!

A Great Home!

We loved our visit and relaxation time that the cabin afforded. The back deck was a delight. The chairs and couch in the living room was sooo comfy. The driveway was very steep and a bit treacherous with the snow but that’s to be expected for a mountain home. For the love of everything sanitary, please remove the shag carpet from the bathroom. Overall, 10/10 We would love to come back again!

Great cabin in the mountains with amazing views

We loved our stay here in Idyllwild . The hot tub was quite a treat after a day of hiking, The views from the back of home are amazing(views from the front are nice too!). FYI if you like cooking with non-stick, bring a pan. There was plenty to use for cooking but we missed a non-stick pan. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Deck, mountain views, hot tub and squirrel watching. Cons: Needs a DEEP cleaning so don’t look too closely! Coffee maker unusable. Showers not quality. No instructions for tv use.

Great escape during a heat wave.

This spacious cabin was an ideal getaway from the desert heat. Unfortunately, we were there during the hottest Idyllwild temperature ever recorded! Luckily they provided several box fans and we spent most of our time sprawled on the deck enjoying the wooded scenery or lounging around the great room watching Netflix.

Great location - lots of spring snow!

We loved this place. The location is great and the peaceful sound of Strawberry Creek was relaxing. The house needs a bit of a spring cleaning but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. If you are coming during the cold months bring extra blankets as it can get really chilly!

The cabin and the vienes are AMAZING.

The location is the best since we have been coming to Idyllwild for our yearly family get away. The rooms are spacious, the views from any window are breathtaking. The only downside is that the oven was so filthy we were not able to bake. There was holes in the lower restroom, and there were not enough soap to wash the hot tub towels for re use (good thing I brought my own detergent). Will probably rent this again.

Nice but could have been better

Downstairs bathroom didn’t work and sewer was backed up into the yard. Otherwise it was nice. Could have used some blankets though. Also no trash bags stocked.
