Pontos positivos: Localização
The condo was about a thirty second walk to the beach and had a partial beach view from the porch! Two chairs and umbrella are also reserved and set up on the beach for you, which was amazing. It had all of the extras that we needed and the host responded to messages promptly and was accommodating. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful & on the beach!

The pictures match exactly what the property looks like. If I recall, when we booked it, they actually had repainted it almost right before we came. The owner made it look more modern and it looked even better than when we originally booked it! It’s a very short walk to the beach, just cross over a tiny bridge and there it is! We had beach chairs and an umbrella to enjoy. Very quiet property, not a lot of others around and felt very safe. We would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location and look forward to booking again in the future! Clean and bright, everything was just as described. Kitchen is well equipped, and the clothes washer/dryer were great. One of the things that stood out was all the extra linens and pillows! Such a nice touch to make sure everyone is comfortable! Grocery is close by, and restaurants aren’t too far away at all either. Accessing the beach from the unit was a breeze, especially with the milder temps the week we stayed. The chair/umbrella service included was a godsend when we already had our arms full with 3 kids beach toys. Owner was quick to respond when I asked about extending our stay by a night, and we had no issues during our stay whatsoever, but if we did, I can imagine she would’ve had it taken care of ASAP.

Pontos positivos: Check-in, comunicação, localização e precisão do anúncio
Let me start with the good. The location of this property is great! Very easy walk to the beach and we didn’t realize the unit came with beach service (an umbrella and 2 chairs already set up for you), which was a great surprise. The unit overall was good and had everything we needed, however I think it could be difficult to cook for a week or for a larger family with what was available in the kitchen. It was just the 2 of us and we only cooked once so this wasn’t an issue for us. Now for the not so good. When we arrived the unit had not been cleaned yet. I called Josee and she was very apologetic and immediately contacted the cleaning crew who came right over. Josee did give us 100 back for this inconvenience, which was a kind gesture, but just feel that it should be called out. While we’re on cleanliness, the unit was not super clean. I understand it’s a rental and it’s not going to be spotless, but we found multiple kitchen items that were dirty in the cabinets. The cabinet above the exhaust fan looked like it had never been cleaned and was covered in grease, and the floors could have used more work. I understand things get missed but for a unit that’s 350 a night I expected a little better. Last warning is that the walls are pretty thin. We were able to hear conversations above and below us and the pool is right outside and is very easy to hear. Overall we had a good trip and the unit was fine, but I felt these few issues should be noted.

Great little condo!

This is a great little condo in the heart of Okaloosa Island! Very clean and adequate. Our neighbors got a little rowdy one night with a 1:30 AM pool party but it was an isolated event. Great finishes with comfort in mind! Would certainly consider staying here in the future.

This was our first vacation with our newborn. The rental was exactly how it appeared online. The spot was perfect for families. Most days we had the pool to ourselves and the beach was remarkable. The rental is centrally located, there are several restaurants and attractions within close proximity. Josee was a great host, she responded quickly and the rental was very clean with all that you need!!!!

Everything as advertised. Attention to detail was above expected. 5 minutes to numerous activities and 20 to all of them. White sand beach, assigned chairs and umbrellas made it easy to walk 1 minute and then enjoy. Ample close by parking, pool cleaned daily, would recommend and definitely stay again. Thanks Josee!!!

Nothing flashy, close to beach.

Overall it was an okay stay. We had anticipated more of the beach view, and disappointed in the fact that our balcony faces the beach but view was blocked by condo in front of us. Perfect space wise, could use some updates in decor.

Meghan, I am sorry that the place did not live up to your expectations. I believe that my photos are accurate and reflect exactly the view that you would get from the condo. So are the photos of the interior , there should not have been any surprise there.

Sobre o anfitrião

Anfitrião: Josee Paulzak

I am a French Canadiam who married an American and I have been living here in Fort Walton Beach for the last 35 years. I love the area, it is so beautiful, and a great place to raise our children. I work with my husband in his Life Insurance agency: If you have heard the "Big Lou" commercial on Sirius Radio, that's us!. In my spare time I make soaps, which I sell at the local market. I also manage a few Airbnb's, this one is my third rental. I have 5 stars ratings on all my properties, so you are in good hands!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I fell in love with this condo the moment I saw it. It is full of light and to me, happy. It is in a quaint setting, only 19 units in the complex, has its own pool. Its proximity to the beach makes it that much more appealing! It also came decorated, and I loved it! Okaloosa Island is an incredibly nice vacation area; it has the most beautiful white quartz beaches on a background of Emerald colored waters. it has sidewalks and bike trails, lots of activities and restaurants around, yet one feels totally on vacation. I hope you will feel the same about it!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Because the unit is not directly on the water, but only a few feet away, you pay a lot less for your rental. You still get to see the ocean from the balcony, and you can be there in less than a minute walk. The small inner court with the pool and barbecue area is ideal for families and relaxation away from the crowds at the beach.
