Gorgeous custom beachfront home sleeps 12. Fabulous open floor plan with incredible views from every room in the house. 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home with a mini-crib room for baby. 3 King bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom and personal access to upper deck.

The dream gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with All-Clad cookware, 48" 6 burner gas stove, double ovens, 7 ft. island, fully loaded spice racks and wine fridge.

Decks on each level with top of the line deck furniture for ample seating, a stainless steel Weber Summit propane grill, and custom built bed swing.
Deck access from all 3 King bedrooms.

Enjoy three King bedrooms, each with its own luxurious bath, and private door to beachfront deck. Also one additional bedroom with two twin beds as well as a bunkroom with four built-in single beds. Those two bedrooms are connected by a Jack and Jill bath. With two tankless water heaters you will never run out of hot water even when all four baths are in use.

The living room is equipped with a 65" Roku TV and Sonos sound system. Just download the free Sonos app to your phone and all of your music is available from your library or music app on state of the art speakers.
Every bedroom is equipped with a flat screen television.

On the ground floor there is an outdoor shower, picnic table, storage garage with lots of chairs, wagon, tents, umbrella, toys, boogie boards, floats, etc.

The beaches at Pointe West are beautiful and groomed consistently. Pointe West boasts two gorgeous resort style pools with spas, a restaurant and bar, gift shop, and fitness/exercise room.

Great Home!!!

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our family. Beach was very easy access and close. My only downside was renovations were going so lockers rooms were closed at the main pool and the bathroom was on the 3rd floor and far away ... hard with a toddler. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

This house is great! Amazing ocean views from all the rooms. We had 7 adults including my 88 year old mom and 4 grandchildren ages 2 and under. The crib room and 2 pack n plays provided was a great benefit to us as well as the wagons, unbrellas and sand toys provided in the garage. Outdoor shower and faucet was perfect for getting all the sand off of everyone before entering the house and the toys when we came back from the beach. The pools are great and kiddy pools at both. We rented an 8 person golf cart to get people and "stuff" around and to go to pools on both sides of the complex. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking daily meals. All the bedrooms were very comfy. We made many family memories and would definitely rent the house again.

Amazing location. Beaches aren’t the cleanest but the proximity of the house to the beach can’t be beat. Lovely house. Wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived but ok/average. Beds are very nice but pillows lacking. Overall a nice place.

It was wonderful

I cannot say enough good things about the property, property owners and property manager. I am more than familiar with most of the West End rental properties. I was looking for one that is exceptional. I came across this one and booked immediately. The home does not disappoint. I did give push back on the 25 pool fee but at the end of the day we ended up spending the day at the Beach Club. As one of my friends said, "That is the best 25 I have ever spent." The bar and restaurant are fabulous. I will definitely rent here again if I have another large group.

AMAZING!

We feel so lucky to have found this home for our vacation! Our party was comprised of 2 families with a total of 4 adults and 5 children. This home was beyond amazing. Owner was VERY communicative and helpful. With their assistance we were able to have 2 rented golf carts waiting in the driveway upon our arrival and wristbands for the clubhouse and pools awaiting us. Home is even more beautiful in person. Loved the deserted beach and the kids LOVED the heated lazy river. Extremely well stocked house! By far the best stocked kitchen I've ever experienced on VRBO. We were advised that the home would be stocked with "starter" paper goods, but we found the starter to be plenty for our week long stay. During our stay we found a notice from the utility company on the door that they would be turning off power for a day to replace a utility pole. We reached out the owner who was very apologetic for this situation beyond their control. The owner then offered for us to get out of the house for the day, do some activities, and send the rcpt for our expenses so that we could be reimbursed. WHAT A GENEROUS OFFER! We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Enchanting Beach House

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. I was able to see both the sunrise and the sunset from the back porch and really enjoyed the time in the swing listening to the waves. The Pointe West neighborhood is well kept, quiet and has two really nice beach clubs that you can pay to get access to. Inside the house, there are three "master" suites and two kids room. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful appliances and pans. Our host was helpful, communicative and the property manager was there when we needed her. Overall, this was a fantastic experience!

Perfect 4 generations getaway!

The home was perfect for out family which ranged from 5 mos to 83. Plenty of space and we loved waking up to the beautiful sea view. Every appliance one could think of was provided in the excellently well equipped kitchen. The girls had a great time picking out beach toys and which umbrella to use. The walk was not too long. Our 5 night stay was just too short. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful home and great location!

This home was perfect for our large family group! It was just a short walk to the beach, the home was well supplied from the amazing kitchen to the beach items available to use. Our host answered all my questions and had wonderful information and suggestions to make our stay even better. It was a great experience!

Always Great!

Our 2nd visit to this home and I hope more to come. We love the location and we love the comfort of the home.. Kay and Ray have been fantastic with their communication and accomodations. Very accessible. We love the porches all around this home and just feel very comfortable staying in this location. The accessories downstairs in the room are plentiful, bicylcle, surf boards, sand toys, chairs, etc....its all their and well kept. Porches off all bedrooms with plush chairs and sitting areas provided. The kitchen is a knock-out. Everything you would possible need is at your fingertips. We "just love this home" and hope to stay their again. Thank you Kay and Raymond for your most pleasant accomcodatiosn and your friendly communication.

Fantastic family vacation

The Lightcatcher house in the Pointe West community was the perfect set up for our annual 4 generation vacation! The house was beautiful, well equipped for cooking for a large family as well as everything you need to enjoy the beach. Every room has an amazing view! There was even baby gates to keep the toddlers safe from the stairs and a small napping room with a crib. I highly recommend renting a golf cart to cruise around the community to one of two pools, pickle ball courts and beach club! The bikes provided were also a fun way to explore the neighborhood in the evening! We hope to be back in the future!

Pointe West Beauty

We had a wonderful time at Lightcatcher even with the high winds all week. We had 10 of our family there- 5 children and 5 adults. With 3 kings, bunk room and 2 twins, the bedroom set up was perfect. The kitchen was beautiful and extremely well stocked. The house and deck has a spectacular 180 degree waterfront view which you never tire of. With 5 cars and an 8 passenger golf cart we had plenty of parking space. Pointe West has tremendous amenities ranging from 2 pools, lazy river, restaurant and rec room. Kay was so helpful prior to our arrival providing house info, Galveston restaurants and activities for the kids. Thanks for being such a wonderful host!

Super family reunion

My children and teenage grandchildren enjoyed this beautifully decorated home with space for all. The views from every angle are superb. The kitchen is a chefs delight with space for more than 1 cook. The cooking utensils and serving dishes accommodated our various types of prep. and service. Decks are huge and all around the home - even off the bedrooms on 3rd floor. Great Place and it really is a LIGHTCATCHER.

very nice home

the house was very nice and spacious. the whole family loved the porch swing, and have all decided we need one know. Not to far of a walk to the beach, and supplied all the things you could want to use at the beach, toys, chairs ect.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. It was so close to the beach and so well stocked. They had everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the back porch overlooking the gulf. Would absolutely stay here again.

THE BEST RENTAL EVER!!!

I cannot imagine finding a better beach house than this one (Lightcatcher)! It had everything you would ever need for a fabulous family vacation. From a VERY well stocked garage with all sorts of fun things for the beach to a beautiful gourmet kitchen with everything you would need for cooking. The bedrooms were gorgeous and oh so comfortable. It even has a little room with a crib for our little one. We will DEFINITELY be back here again. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. Really, just bring your beach towels, swimsuits and food and you will have a blast! No other beach house has been this nice and we have stayed in many!!!

Best VRBO Stay Ever

This is hands down the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. The property is beautiful inside and out and the location was perfect. There truly are ocean views from every room. The furnishings are upscale and well maintained. You can tell right away that the owners care about their house. Kay is terrific owner. She is very responsive and truly cares about your stay experience. From the kitchen to bathrooms to the outdoor shower (excellent place to shower off sandy grand kids.), we loved the house and hope to stay again in the future.

We decided that this was the place we would finally build our own home. That dream was realized in early 2015 when we moved into this gorgeous home built by one of Galveston's finest builders. We are delighted to share it with you and hope that your family makes wonderful memories there.
