▶ "Silver Girl" Rents Sunday- Sunday from June 14 through August 17th..◀
(Four-night minimum stay, check-in any day of the week, all other times)

⨳⨳ Our Cleaning Fee includes professional home preparation by a locally owned company, freshly laundered bed linens on all beds, bath and kitchen towels, and twice-weekly hot tub maintenance performed by a licensed pool and spa technician. The fee is our cost for these services with no markup.

This clean, bright cottage is perfect for a family or couples vacation. Located on a quiet street only two lots from the sand, Silver Girl has convenient private beach access leading over the dunes to a beautiful expanse of beach. Please note that the path from Silver Girl to the ocean requires walking inclines and declines on soft sand. Feel free to ask questions about our location and beach accessibility.

Silver Girl has plenty of space to gather in the open living room and dining area. The kitchen is well-appointed, and each bedroom has a flat-screen TV with streaming capability. A DVD library, games, and books are there for your enjoyment.

Take in the ocean breeze on the wraparound deck and unwind under the stars in the warmth and relaxation of the hot tub. The comfortable hammock invites an afternoon nap.

This pretty house is a wonderful place to stay AND play. Silver Girl is close to great surf spots and world-renowned Pamilco Sound kiteboarding destinations (only 0.5 mile from Real Watersports!) The Rodanthe Pier and miles of beautiful coastline await your angling enjoyment. Sunbathing, shell seeking, bird watching, and simply relaxing make for a lovely vacation.

A walk/bike path extends the length of the Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo villages, leading past shops and restaurants from the Salvo Day Use Area to the skateboard park in Rodanthe.

▶ Private beach access leads to a path over the dune, which involves inclines and declines on soft, shifting sand. If you have any questions about the accessibility of the beach or the closest wheelchair-accessible beach access, don't hesitate to ask.

▶ WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE, which can be purchased through outside vendors. Hatteras Island is vulnerable to storms and electrical outages. Unfortunately, mandatory evacuations occur.

Amazing time staying at Silver Girl

Silver Girl was an amazing property! We had a great stay. The cottage was clean, safe, fully furnished, fully functional/operational, and the outdoor shower and hot tub were huge bonus factors!

Wonderful

Silver Girl was such a nice place to stay, close to the beach, fishing, restaurants, and all that Outer Banks has to offer. The place was very clean, amenities were great and communication was spot on. Thank you, our stay was wonderful!

Sandy is a perfect host always available to help and answer questions. Her cottage is well maintained and clean with comfortable beds & furniture. We had all we needed to enjoy an extended stay in OBX

Well-Maintained and Comfortable

My family and I had a lovely stay. Great, quiet location minutes away from food/shops in Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo. Quick walk to the beach from the house. House was well-maintained and clean. Host was communicative before our arrival and we had no issues settling in and relaxing. Would absolutely rent this place again.

Perfect Stay at the Silver Girl

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here over the 4th of July week. The reviews are all accurate with respect to cleanliness. We've stayed at several rental homes in OBX, and this one was by far the cleanest. A few people mention the dune being difficult to get over, but we didn't find that to be the case. Our beach cart with the wide plastic wheels handled it fine, and my son lifted the end for the last 10 yards or so at the top of the hill.The real unsung hero of this place however is the Sunday to Sunday rental. This was a life-changer in OBX! No traffic coming in or going out... Amazing! Not sure I can ever do a Saturday to Saturday rental again.This was our first time this far south, and we loved it. So much less crowded than Duck/Corolla areas. Lots of good restaurants, arcades/putt putt for the kids, etc. No line or call ahead needed at Duck Donuts!All in all it was a great stay and Sandy was a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend this home!

Wonderful beach home for families!

We enjoyed our stay at Silver Girl and would definitely recommend! The beach house was clean and conveniently located to the beach. It was sunny and bright and a perfect little beach cottage for our family of 5! A few things that make a big difference for our family that we appreciated- The kitchen was well equipped but we also had room for our groceries. Beds were comfortable and the hot water for showers lasted a long time. Long enough for the 5 of us in our family to all take showers back to back! We appreciated having the hose on the deck for rinsing off after the beach and outdoor shower. I never had to bring sandy kids in the house! The street was quiet and we could see so many stars at night. Thanks for a wonderful vacation, Sandy!

Awesome cottage - steps to the beach!

My wife, 2 y/o son, and I had a wonderful time! The location was perfect - just steps to the beach, and about halfway between the southern and northern OBX villages. The house itself was well-stocked, clean, and had plenty of room. We didn't end up using the hot tub, but it looked very nice and well taken care of. Some things to note: - Do NOT forget to bring bug spray! The mosquitoes were vicious. The surrounding area had a lot of standing water (due to a tropical storm that passed through before our stay) which made them really bad. - Be careful when walking barefoot on the deck (it could use a bit of TLC) - There is a bit of a sway when others are walking around the house. This might be unsettling for some people (especially in high winds) but didn't really bother us. Overall we had a great vacation and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

It was an amazing stay. The house was big enough and open enough for our family of 5. 2 adults, 3 teenagers. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We cooked most of our meals. The location was close enough to the beach that a walk out each morning for sunrise was perfect.

Nice place, very easy walk to the beach, and very convenient having beach chairs we could use for the week. Check in process was easy. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities needed for cooking, beds were comfortable, and even had some games and puzzles available. The street was very quiet, which was great. We had a wonderful relaxing time, would stay again!

This property was very clean one of the cleanest we've stayed at on Obx. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very close to the beach. Just be aware that there is a steep dune to get over the beach, which was no problem for us and our small children, but might be harder for older individuals. The beds were comfortable, and there are lots of games, puzzles, DVDs and books to keep the family entertained. Would for sure come back! Also, the grill was great. Typically we have found grills are not usable at most rentals but this one was great.

Could have stayed forever!

Such a quaint little cottage close enough to the sea to pop in and out all day. Loved getting our steps in by walking to the pier and enjoyed surf fishing in the early mornings. Private enough to enjoy quiet mornings on the deck, but close enough to restaurants to enjoy easy evenings for dinner.

Highly recommend!

The house is exactly like the pictures, very clean and organized. The hosts were communicative and friendly. Really appreciated having 6 nice beach chairs! Close to the beach but the walk over the dune is steep and may be challenging for older folks, but was not hard for us. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Sandy!

Quiet beach weekend

We were looking for a quiet beach weekend and Silver Girl was a great spot for just that. We cooked at home and found the kitchen had everything we needed.

Exactly as advertised

Definitely the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed and a lot of natural light. The house felt very cozy and welcoming . The owner pays great attention to the property and keeps it cleaned, organized and well stocked. Sandra was very responsive to texts and had a list of things to do and where to eat. Great time!

Perfect Getaway!

The property was perfect! It was exceptionally clean and updated. The location is great so close to the beach and beach access. The process was easy and Sandra was a great host! We are looking forward to booking the property again next year.
