Nestled high on the downtown North side of Joshua Tree awaits the "Sunset Skyline". Aptly named for its breathtaking sunset views. Stylish and ultra clean with all the amenities to make your desert getaway unforgettable. Minutes to the park and walking distance to the village makes this location ideal for any traveler. Sunset Skyline is completely furnished with all the modern luxuries you desire. Groovy Mid-Century charm, Wi-Fi (beginning @ 200mbps download and 10 mbps upload), Air conditioning, full kitchen, bath, shower and private outdoor space. The bedding is all high thread count 100% cotton for extra comfort. We can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. We do allow guests to check in early and late check-out if it's possible, however there is an additional fee.
There is no other place quite like this to fulfill your Joshua Tree experience.

Joshua Tree Stay

Super convenient to the national park, shopping and a short trip from the Palm Springs airport. Loved the art and brightness of the place. It had everything e needed.

A great place to stay!

We definitely enjoyed this place, while visiting JTP. It's clean, roomy, and has a fully stocked kitchen. The backyard was a nice place to be in the evening when it gets cooler and you can see the stars. It also perfectly situated, being close to the park and multiple shops and eating places. The host is good at communication, and always eager to help. Highly recommend!

Comfortable convenient spacious

I love my stay. It’s such an easy walk to the village. The bed was very comfortable. The heat worked perfectly. I love the sunny kitchen, the hot water in the bath, the darkening curtains in the bedroom. I would stay there again thank you.

First time in Joshua Tree

This place was a perfect location. It was close to the national park and stores. The place was clean and neat. The kitchen could use some appliance updates. But it had everything we needed. I would stay here again.

Good stay

Good property . Nice location close to everything for driving even walking to local stores. Very pleased with my accomodations. No huks or hangers consider bringing own it needed.

Visit to Joshua Tree

The property was easy to find and access. It was close to the main drag and a very good cafe that had breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it was within easy access to THE PARK. It was very comfy and bed was comfortable. We couldn't really access much TV but that was not a huge problem. Would definitely recommend for others.

5 year Anniversary

Thank you. Loved the location. Prime spot. Wife is from Florida and a U2 fan. Joshua Tree was a bucket list for her. Officially marked off. Nice home. Loved it. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Great access to Joshua Tree

We had a fantastic stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The house felt larger than impression from pictures and included everything we needed. We were 5 adults with the roll-away bed in 2nd bedroom and had plenty of room. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for us to prepare all our meals. The owners were responsive to all our requests. Our only disappointment was that the Joshua Tree Bewery located a couple hundred yards down the street was not open in evenings! We hope to return and taste their beers next year.

Comfortable, Convenient Base For Joshua Tree Exploration

As advertised, clean, well-equipped and convenient house for exploring nearby Joshua Tree National Park with Palm Springs and the Mojave National Preserve about a one hour drive further away from the national park. We enjoyed relaxing in this house after exciting day hikes in the national park with its breath-taking scenery. Very quiet neighborhood but close to the main street with cafes and other shops for buying essentials plus one of the major access roads into the park. An empty desert area across from the front of the house provided unobstructed, fine sunset views of the snow capped San Jacinto Mountain range to the west and a pleasant place for a morning or evening stroll. Our host was accommodating and we highly recommend this property to anyone considering a trip to this gorgeous region of southern California.

Charming little home in a great location

The photos do not reflect the property, it is much nicer in person. Very nice decor. The only criticism I would have is the kitchen cabinets/counter definitely need updating. But they are functional. Gas stove is great, good size fridge. There is no toaster oven, or toaster. The in-wall heater worked great, it was unusually cold in Joshua when we there! PERFECT LOCATION for visiting JT Park. Two minutes from visitor center. A perfect home for a couple or small family to rent. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Good value for the price.

Just a Mediocre Property

I gave a overall rating of 2 because of cleanliness and communication. Cleanliness- I specifically asked the host if it’s going to be clean because I read another review that said they found a dog fur on the couch and the utensils were dirty. For me, I walked around the house without my shoes and my feet got really dirty so surprised to see that they didn’t mop the floor AND the utensils and pans were not clean at all, so I went to Vons to grab plastic spoon, cup, dishes because I didn’t want to use unclean dishes. Communication- To be honest, I never met a host who didn’t give me the instructions until 1 hr before arriving the unit. Normally, other hosts give me thorough instructions the day before or early morning so I can know what to expect, but this one gave me the instructions like 30min before arrival, which made me feel bit anxious. When I got to the property, I wasn’t sure if I can use the parking lot, so I texted the host, who didn’t reply. As I was reading instructions in the folder, I saw another number so I gave a call. A guy picked up and was extremely rude and told me that parking is “off limits” for guests. He sounded upset that I even asked a question, so I clarified that “there was no instructions so I wanted to ask” and he kept repeating “off limits” which made me feel like I did something wrong when I am paying this guy or the host to stay here. RUDE! Anyways, the female host was nice but the male host was really rude. Home itself- home itself was okay. Nothing too special. The living room is very dark so be aware. I felt like there was not enough light.

It was ok

Pros- Beds were super comfy, the location was great going to the park and walking distance to coffee/food and shops Cons- When you drive up, there is a chain link fence around the yard with a moving gate on the driveway that is in poor condition. it was quite windy when we were worried the gate was going to blow into our car because it was held together with a bungee cord. The yard was overgrown and at first appearances looked quite uninviting. The kitchen is old. Although the vintage coffee pot was a fun reminder of my childhood, a larger pot would be great. There was food in the fridge and freezer; open ice cream, jelly, etc. I have stayed in many vrbos and there has never been food in the fridge. The fridge was dirty, and smeared yogurt on the shelves. There were crumbs under the kitchen table and the floors around the living room had crumbs in the corners etc. The blinds and window sills were filthy in the family room. The doors and frames around the house were quite dingy. The whole place for the price of the rental needs to be deep cleaned. I had to contact the host for checkin instructions the day before we arrived. LOOK AT YOUR FEES!! I, unfortunately, did not review the fees before I booked the rental. The place is advertised with 4 beds. We were charged additional guest fees for having 4 people in our party. The host said it is listed as a 2 person occupancy therefore we are charged an extra fee for 2 more people. The 2nd bedroom has a lockbox on the outside of the door. So if you only have 2 people in your party don't expect to be able to use both bedrooms. The host said they would refund me half of the cleaning fee due to the kitchen. The original price of the rental seems fair. But with all the additional charges it is way overpriced for what it is.

This was the perfect size and location for me and my husband. Across the street from our favorite cafe The Crossroads. And right down the street from the musical festival we were here for. Very clean and we loved the way it was decorated.

Perfect spot

This was our base for the Pioneertown International Film Festival. It was a perfect location to explore in any direction. We loved the desert view from the living room. The backyard/gas grill was great. Very comfortable with the air conditioning. We’d stay here again.

Great Joshua Tree Getaway

This cute little house was in a really nice location just minutes from the park entrance. The house was very clean and sufficiently outfitted for a 3 night stay. The master bed is firm which worked fine for me. A few little upgrades in kitchen equipment might be a nice touch. Backyard privacy is awesome. I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone wanting to visit JTNP.

Property was adequate, conveniently located to the park and little downtown area. Was a quiet residential setting other than the road noise from vehicles zooming by. Kitchen could use a few items: baking dish, measuring cups, serving bowl(s). It would be nice to have a daily bath towel and washcloth for each guest plus bathroom handtowels with no washer/dryer access.

Loved Joshua Tree!

This property was perfect for our short trip to Joshua Tree - we loved the accessibility to the park and trying the restaurants in town. We had to work during the day and the WiFi and the setup of the house was convenient for two remote workers! The only thing that surprised me was that there was no washer and dryer - I am sure this was evident if I had looked more closely at the listing.
