This listing is for condo #2. Condos 1 and 4 are on the ground floor which share a shaded cement patio, condos 2 and 3 are on the second floor which share a deck, all four overlooking the Yellowstone River. Each condo is equipped with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill.

Welcome to your basecamp for your southwest Montana/ Yellowstone vacation! We have a very friendly manager and staff should you need anything during your stay.
Located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, 11 miles north of Gardiner, Montana, Yellowstone Riverfront Condos offer a unique vacation opportunity!

There are four 2-bedroom, 1 bath units in this two-story structure; each unit has a laundry room, WIFI, two private entrances, gas grill, and expansive outdoor areas with a riverfront view that perfectly captures the sunsets in Yankee Jim Canyon. These units can be rented individually or are perfect for large groups needing an entire floor or the whole building. There is also a private trail to the river for fishing access on the Yellowstone River. Each unit sleeps 4; the beds can be configured as kings or XL twins.

The property is located at historic Slip & Slide Ranch established in 1908 and still operated by the Rigler family. From the unit, you can see the historic rock barn featured in the Montana publication, Hand Raised: The Barns of Montana. In addition, wild Yellowstone bison, which are part of a national bison testing program, graze in the meadow by the main ranch buildings and are easily and safely viewed from the condo site.

The ranch borders thousands of acres of public land with hiking opportunities that can accommodate any skill set. The historic OTO Dude Ranch is a popular trail; hiking the now publicly owned part of the old Slip & Slide Ranch provides two glimpses into Montana ranching and accommodation history. Both hikes provide ample wildlife viewing as well as an opportunity to explore areas outside of Yellowstone Park which are often less traveled than popular Yellowstone Park trails.

The central location allows you to enjoy Yellowstone Hot Springs, 3 miles away, and Chico Hot Springs, 20 miles away. We are also just a short drive to Livingston, Montana where there is a wealth of fine dining, shopping, and art galleries.

The property back side faces a river. That is the only positive. We had 2 small boys and the host was very rude about the sounds they were making while playing. This is a 4 unit building and if you have kids you simply should not stay in this place. The bathroom on the property was missing the tub drain stopper, so we could not even use the bath tub for our kids. The host even told us that we should not stay there due to guests in the unit below us complaining about normal kids play sounds. The host will make it seem as if the sounds were high volume, but they were just normal kid sounds.

The worst guests we've ever had- we are glad they will never return. Day 1- guests in the unit below call us at 11:30pm stating there is considerable noise and can't sleep. Day 2- we ask guests first thing in the morning to please respect 10pm-6am quiet hours. Our text is met with a gaslighting response- the lights in the bathroom aren't working, nor is the fan. We head over immediately, and all lights are working, and they pushed too many buttons on the fan so we reprogrammed the fan and it worked again. Day 2 evening, they text they can not find the bath stopper. The bath stopper is in the top right vanity drawer. We ask that they look there. They do not and can't find it- we take a pic of where it is in the vanity and send it to them once they've checked out and apologize that they couldn't find it. Again, night 2, the unit below cannot sleep because of so much noise. We text Vikram and no response- it seems they refuse to be considerate guests. We need to relocate guests below them and refund them for having their vacation ruined. Final day- they left the front door to all the condos wide open, allowing any wild animal to come in. We have a large sign saying PLEASE KEEP THIS DOOR CLOSED. Vikram didn't follow the checkout procedures and left the apartment in poor condition. On top of all of this, we gave them the rating we experienced and they texted to our personal phones that we were racist. It was the worst rental experience we've ever had.

We had a great stay! The place was really nice, clean, and secluded — just what our family was looking for. It felt like the perfect getaway, it was about an hour and half away from Old Faithful just to give an idea how far it is from the parks. Half hour from Mammoth. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location to Yellowstone & wonderful accommodations. We loved coming back to our home base after every park outing. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prep meals and the view of the Yellowstone River below was glorious! Our host, Susan was so responsive with any questions and the views and wildlife on the water was a big plus!

Nice peacefull area

Everything was just as described. You can watch the bison out the front window or sit on the balcony and enjoy the river/ mountain view.

Comfortable and beautiful river view

Very comfortable place to stay. Easy to get into Gardiner and the Park. Access to local hikes nearby as well as Yellowstone Hot Springs. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very satisfied and will definitely stay again once we visit. It was a very peaceful and amazing overlook of the Yellowstone river. I would suggest that anyone visiting Yellowstone stay at this establishment, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The place was extremely clean. Wonderful view

My family enjoyed our stay at the property. The view was magnificent and the accommodations were above expectations. Great proximity to Gardiner and the North gate of Yellowstone. The property manager was helpful with great advice on places to see outside of the park.

Very Nice Vacation Spot

This apartment was very comfortable for four adults. Clean, nice size rooms and great deck overlooking river. Saw eagles flying up and down river. Quiet location, close to north entrance to Yellowstone.

Perfect for our family vacation!

We loved the location. It was clean and had everything we needed after long days in Yellowstone. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the river and the views are amazing! Property managers were quick to respond when we had questions. We would highly recommend this property.

Yellowstone Vacation

This was one of the most well-stocked places we have stayed. Super convenient. We had to cut our trip short a day because of a medical emergency but hope to come back and finish it. Will definitely book this place again!

Gateway to Yellowstone

Very nice property only a short drive to Yellowstone. Clean, well equipped, beds very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need to fix a quick meal or a full dinner. You can't go wrong staying here. We will be back next year.

Great experience and a beautiful view of the Yellowstone River

Our experience here was terrific! The property is well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. After spending long, busy days at Yellowstone, we looked forward to coming back to relax on the deck, overlooking the river, at sunset. In addition, Tanya was very helpful and responded to any questions we had.

Yellow stone visit.

Location of the home is great, by the river but it is 10 Miles from the town of Gardiner and entrance to Yellow stone. No cell signal.

Best view in town

We did not want to leave the property. This is just 10 minutes north of the north entrance into Yellowstone park. Outside the front window are bison on a farm and Yellowstone river is in the backyard. So nice and clean. They had everything you need in the condo. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fabulously Comfortable

This condo was very clean, excellently maintained and very well stocked in the kitchen. The beds were amazing, the location is great - quiet, beautiful views, close enough to Yellowstone North entrance, Gardiner, Livingston, and just over an hour to Bozeman. It was exactly what we needed, in fact, we stayed an extra couple of days and will stay there again next time we are in Montana. Thank you, Tanya, for the quick responses and attention to details.

Great Family Spot

This property was perfect for us and our two seven year old children. We ordered curbside in Livingston and pick it up on the way from the airport. The cooking setup was perfect for burgers, steaks, pasta, and casseroles. The rooms were setup as requested and the bathroom was adequate. The air-conditioning was great during the day and we slept with the windows open at night. Plenty of towels, paper products, trash bags, and laundry products for our 10 day visit.
