Ocean Village Club P19: Pet-Friendly Beachside Retreat with Pool & Courts

Located in an oceanfront resort with two swimming pools (one heated), tennis courts, fitness center, shuffleboard, and so much more. The condo is conveniently located close to historic downtown St. Augustine. It's the perfect resort to start enjoying your vacation, anytime of the year!



This condo is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, ground floor unit located in the “P” building. It has many recent upgrades to include: a new sofa and loveseat, new bedroom furniture, and a new flat screen TV’s. Also, bring your electronics, because the condo also has WIFI. It's location is perfect for a stroll to the beach, which is less than a 2 minute walk.



The patio area is shaded so you can sit, relax, eat, and enjoy the ocean breeze. With beautiful green grass and palm trees, it's like you're in paradise.

The living room is cozy and comfortable. Sit back and enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV in the living room. The condo also has a DVD player.

After a busy day at the beach or on the road, it's a treat to come to this condo for some much-needed relaxation!

The design of the condo is an open-plan with sliding glass doors to the patio and also sliding glass doors in the master bedroom that lead to the patio.



Whether you're planning on doing some home cooking or eating out every meal, our kitchen has everything you should need to prepare a meal. Full-size appliances and all the cookware, utensils, and dishes enable you to do as much or as little cooking as you like. The breakfast bar has 3 stools for eating your meals. The condo has a microwave, coffee maker, blender, icemaker, and dishwasher.



The master bedroom boasts a new king-size bed and plenty of closet space, as well as separate access to the patio.

The second bedroom also has a king sized bed and plenty of closet space.

Both full bathrooms contain both a bathtub and shower combination. Convenient to the bedroom, it has enough room for you to spread out your toiletries.



Don’t worry about taking the laundry home with you, our condo also features your own washer and dryer.

You will enjoy all the amenities of the Ocean Village Club complex, from the picnic areas with BBQ grills to the lending library and fitness center. The ocean is just steps away, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets, white sands, and rolling waves.

Great location!

Ground level on the corner so you got a nice breeze on the porch. We were able to sit on the back porch and watch the kids play around in the large grassy area, and its just a few steps from the porch to the shuffle board and pool. Condo has had some renovations done and has everything you would need and more!

Pretty decent condo

The location is simply amazing. There are *maybe* only a handful of other units so perfectly placed at OVC. The unit itself is in a bit of disrepair, neglect, and in severe need of updating.

The condo was filled, especially in the master bedroom, with black mold in the ceiling. The mold spores were everywhere, making it difficult to breathe. The condo was in poor disrepair as a whole. We had to change locations and condos as a result. Once notified, the property management company was excellent and got us moved quickly.

Disappointed

Stayed in p19 last year and was told kitchen and bath was going to be redone. Kitchen cabinets are falling apart and the Master toilet doesn't flush properly. Master sink is chipped and faucet squeals. For the price of 2700 we were disappointed.

Great complex, awful condo and property management.

This is our third year going to the same complex but we stay in different units each time. This one was awful!! The router was broken so we didn't have Internet the entire week. The condo smelled like mildew upon opening the front door. The master bathroom toilet seat and bowl was covered in black mold, as was the bottom of the shower curtain. The ant problem in the kitchen was so bad that we had to go buy ant spray to control them. The unit was dirty and we will not ever stay there again. We complained to the prop owner as well as the prop manager with no resolution.

Nice location; disappointing condo

The property and location was very good; the condo was a complete disappointment. The dishes were extremely dirty, with food remaining on them, which may have had something to do with the ant problem in the kitchen. The master bathroom toilet seat was hanging off the toilet, and when taking my first shower the curtain rod fell down. The lack of lighting in the dining room was so poor that we ate dinner in the dark and used cell phone lighting to play board games in the evening. The living room sofas and floors were sandy. We have rented condos many many times, but never encountered such disappointment.

The property was clean and family friendly. It's an older property, but it appears the owners are trying to update. Kitchen could use some updating. Liked that one of the 2 pools is heated. The TVs in the bedrooms didn't work after the 1st night. TV in the living area worked fine.

Just okay

This condo could be so much nicer. It was a good location, close to pools and beach. It has a great floor plan for a family of 4 like ours. It is a pet friendly place (we had no pets), but dog hair and sand were all over when we arrived. I spent the first couple hours sweeping and vacuuming. The appliances need major updating especially the dishwasher. The metal racks in the dishwasher are literally melted and rusted and falling apart. The sliding glass door is pretty hard to open because of weather damage and age. This place could be so nice with updated appliances, faucets, etc but in its current state it is very dated and underwhelming.

Good for the money

The good: Excellent location! just steps away from the beach. The no-so-good: This P-19 unit, needs an update. Plastic shades falling, wiggling furniture, rusty dishwasher, ... You get what you pay for.

Somewhat Disappointed

We’ve stayed at Ocean Village Club many times and enjoy it very much but the condo we rented this time was disappointing. The closet doors in both bedrooms were broke, dishwasher had rust in it and did not work properly, the light fixtures were cracked and in bad shape. And the sliding glass door only opened about two feet. The location was great but definitely not worth the price of the unit until it gets repaired and updated.

Great location, needs updating

Close to the beach, bottom floor, pets allowed, family friendly. Needs to be scrubbed clean - mainly in bathrooms and the washing machine (moldy). Also could use updating in kitchen and baths. Several things didn’t work properly, but we made do (toaster, tv in bedroom, toilets). Would choose a different place next time, but this worked fine and was super cheap.

This was Unavailable, one they replaced with was filthy!!!

We originally chose this unit because it was on the bottom floor and we had a toddler. Upon arrival they give us keys to another unit because this one had the air off or something and was musty. We ended up on the 3rd floor with no elevator. (With a baby and all his stuff) The unit was filthy, missing dishes, paint was chipping from guard rails and my grandson had constant black feet from the dirty floor. I attempted to sweep but there was no broom. Our daughter's room was supposed to have a king and they had twins. Our mattress was gross. There were body fluid stains and dead bugs. We asked for a cleaning crew but one did not show up. We had to wash all of the dishes before we could use them because there was dried food and dead bugs in them. We ended up staying in that filth for two days because that's how long it took them to clean the original unit we rented. We were a party of six but only had seating for four. I had to convince the rental company that we wanted our first choice before they finally sent a cleaning crew to clean it up. They never showed upstairs. The owner of the rental company said he would give us a discount but lied. He did not. We've filed a complaint with Home Away. DO NOT RENT from this company. They are liars. I understand that things happen but they never went out of their way to let us know before we got there. I had a missed call but no message. The email received before the day of check in did not say anything about this issue. It did list the Unit # as the one upstairs, but I didn't notice because I didn't realize it was something to pay attention to. They should have at least emailed us letting us know that we wouldn't be able to go straight to the unit we rented. Once we were able to get to this unit. It was at least clean, unfortunately the screen door was broken, it was only connected by the bottom hinge, so we had to be extremely careful about the baby getting anywhere near it. And the dryer quit. We were unable to do our laundry. There were no blankets for the sleeper sofa. This felt like the vacation from hell. I love St. Augustine and even this complex but will NEVER rent from this company again.

Great Location for Families!

This was a really spacious accommodation. It's an end unit on the first floor and so close to the pool and has a very nice area to walk to the beach which is only minutes away. There were a few maintenance problems like a clogged shower in the 2nd BR and the master BR needed some extra cleaning pretty badly. The beds were comfortable and the washer/dryer was great to keep our clothes clean for our return home. If you plan to do a lot of cooking you may need to bring a large pot and larger frying pan(fyi) depending of the volume you plan to cook. The fridge took about 8 hours to get really cool but then it was great after that. I would definitely recommend this place and hope my opinion draws attention to the owner to speak with house cleaning to be more thorough.

Awesome stay

The property was in a great location, the condo was clean and spacious. Close to the beach and had everything you needed for a stay of a week or longer. The hair dryer had a short in it and we call and had it replaced the next day. Well managed and taken care of. The only recommendations I have is that it's time for a new sliding glass door. Will stay here again for sure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall very good stay. Being on the ground floor was great for our boys to be able to come and go to the pool and the grounds were nice and wide open for playing frisbee and throwing the football around. Very close to the pool (which was very nice and had restroom facilities right there so you don’t have to walk back to the room). Kids had fun playing shuffleboard. Beach is beautiful. Only complaint was in addition to paying the owner pet fee, when we got there, there was also an additional $25 pet fee we had to pay the office and they only took cash (in this day and age???), so had to leave the premises and go get cash from an ATM (which wasn’t far away, we were just ready to get out of the car and into the condo after driving a couple of hours).
