Welcome to Ocean Village Club E17, your luxuriously furnished oceanfront two-bedroom, two bath, ground floor condo. Located in Ocean Village Club Resort, this gated community gives you access to a clubhouse, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, four shuffleboard courts, a picnic area with grills, and a private beach walkway, all within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and shops, and just a few minutes' drive to the heart of historic St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city. Enjoy the condo lanai overlooking the tropical resort landscaping. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, a DVD player and cable TV. A full-size washer and dryer are included, allowing for lighter packing. The ocean is just a short hop across the dune walkover from the community pool area.

Access to Ocean Village Club E17 is from the ground floor, with tile flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, otherwise wood flooring throughout. The kitchen, dining and living areas consist of an open floor plan. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with plenty of granite counterspace, and everything is available in this kitchen to whip up gourmet meals, or just snacks or toast and coffee in the morning. All you have to do is bring the food! Appliances are all stainless-steel and include a dishwasher, range with oven, built-in above-range microwave and refrigerator/freezer with icemaker. There is a pass-through bar into the dining area with four high-boy bar seats on the dining area side. The adjacent dining area is nicely furnished with a round glass-top table seating four on an area rug, with wall mirrors adding to the spacious feeling. This flows out into the nicely furnished living area with L-shaped sleeper sofa and coffee table on an area rug, a recliner, ceiling fan, strategically placed floor lamps and corner credenza with large flat screen TV. Expansive sliding glass doors provide access to the lanai, furnished with four patio chairs overlooking the resort grounds.

The primary bedroom with en suite bath is furnished with a king-size bed, nightstands with lamps, chest, double dresser with mirror and flat screen TV, as well as ceiling fan, and there is private access to the lanai from this bedroom. The large en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate powder room. All towels and linens are provided. The guest bedroom is great for extended family or kids and includes two single beds with nightstand and lamp, ceiling fan and chest with flat screen TV. The guest bath has a combination tub/shower, vanity and lavatory with plenty of storage space beneath.

Beach Condo

Everything went well. Check in was easy and property was as described. Nice location, close to beach and shopping and also close to downtown St Augustine. Enjoyed the heated pool and learned how to play shuffelboard. Only suggestion to owner would be to add new beach chairs and a 4 slice toaster. Really enjoyed our week...Thank you

We stayed in a recently renovated condo right by the pool and an nice walk to the beach. Rental company was responsive to some minor problems that were addressed immoderately. Condo is very comfortable for 5. Will rent again from VTrios

Nice place

The unit was very clean and updated with what appeared to be new furniture. The pictures need updated because the furniture is different than pictured. The walk to the beach is quite long especially in the Florida heat. Everything else was great!

Great location - enjoyed the pool!! Downside: the beach was further than anticipated and the couch, recliner and area rugs were filthy. We were unable to sit on the couch to unwind at night - a few of the seat cushions were ripped opened and there was no support (you sank in ).

Great Two Weeks

We had a great two weeks. The condo was well appointed. The location is second to none. Most of what we needed was available to us. There are a few things that could be updated: the beds in the second room need updating, the mattresses need replacing, the unit needs a swiffer to clean the kitchen floor throughout the stay, improving the tv to hi- def in todays world is necessary, darkening shades for bedrooms. Even With this said, the stay was enjoyable and these changes would absolutely put this unit over the top.

4th of July Vaca

The condo has been somewhat updated and is cute. However, it is in need of attention. Where do I start? First of all, there is an ant infestation. They are out of control and everywhere. Crawling on the floors, walls, baseboards, kitchen countertops, and bathrooms, etc. I went through an entire bottle of Zevo bug spray during our brief 4 day stay. Next, you need to hire a new cleaning crew. This was by far the dirtiest place Iā€™ve ever stayed in. The linens were all fresh, and they gave you plenty of towels. However, the floors were nasty and the throw rugs were full of dirt. I spent the first day cleaning and trying to debug the place. The couch and chair have multiple stains and need to be thrown out. I donā€™t even think professionally cleaning them will help and are so uncomfortable. They even have a piece of plywood cut to put under the cushions for added support. The pull out sofa is miserable to sleep on and there are no pillows for it. The master bedroom mattress is horrible as well and should have been replaced years ago. My kids said the twin mattresses were comfortable to them. This condo has a lot of potential but needs some TLC. The community is quiet but be aware that it is quite a walk to the beach from this particular unit. Which we didnā€™t mind and if you have a 4X4 vehicle you can drive on the beach. Also, the listing says pets (plural), but the community ONLY allows one pet (singular) per unit.

Quick get away

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. Room was clean and on the lower level for easy access. We could park our car about 30 feet from the front door. Quick stroll to the beach from there. And good access to all the local attractions and restaurants.

Fun vacation!

The property was very clean. There are several fun activities to do while on site. We enjoyed being on the first floor and having the shuffleboard court outside our door. (The couch needs replaced. Itā€™s pretty broken down and not comfortable.)

Condo was ok. When we got there the fridge hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. Some thing had been spilled and splashed on the inside door. Didn't look like there was any attempt to clean it. Couch needs to be replaced. No support at all. Throw rugs needed washed. Way too close to the shuffle board. Could hear every time someone was out there. Pool policy needs clarification. Our instructions said pool was open from 8a.m. To 10p.m. The pool sign said 8a.m. To dusk. Dusk is subjective. The last day we discovered the furnace filter was extremely dirty. We wondered why our allergies had been acting up. There were just little things that by themselves weren't terrible. We probably would not book this condo again.

Vacation

This was a family get together. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The property is well kept. The only minor downside is no elevator. 2 toddlers and the things they need to tote upstairs. We knew this before we came. We had a good time.

Girls trip!

We had a great time. We loved that the pool was so close! The beach is a little far from this unit but we had a wagon, which made things a lot easier. The sliding door is hard to open and close but other than that everything was great. Kitchen well stocked and the place was clean. Would definitely stay again!

Clean and Updated

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The condo was nicely updated and very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. The beach is a little far away from the condo but being right next to the pool made up for it. I recommend driving your vehicle to the beach early in the morning with all of your beach supplies and then walking to the condo as needed.

Fantastic condo, definitely would stay there again. The only minor flaw was the beach is pretty far from this building so you have to prepare for a long walk or pack up your vechicle to drive down there. :)

Our beach getaway!

I must say, I thought that the check in process would be a pain because you have to go off site to pick up your keys BUT it was very simple & only 1-2 miles up the road from the condo. Upon arrival, everything was very clean!! I didnā€™t have high expectations for this after reading previous reviews but everything was very clean and orderly. Felt like home! The pool right out your back sliding glass window is awesome, especially with kids. We enjoyed the shuffle board right outside the patio, too. The beach isnā€™t too far of a walk. It was a perfect little weekend get away with our family. I would suggest possibly investing in new beds for the condo that are more comfortable & having a few more towels available but besides that everything was great! Those are minor in my opinion. We would rent this condo again!

Ocean was amazing, The History of the City was captivating..

Nice, but The irrigation had many areas very smelly, There was many things broken and Damaged inside our Condo, Major Ant issue in kitchen, not enough supplies left. Checkout time Is entirely Too early, Some may not be able to leave that early, Check in time Was entiry too late. We arrived around 1pm. They MADE us wait until 4pm before we could check in. And There was NO ONE in the condo, That is very poor business.. For the Amount we paid for the condo we expected Much better service,

Very spacious & good location

We stayed here for 3 nights & it was perfect. There was enough space for us & loved how the unit was set up. Would most definitely stay there again & would use VRBOagain. Just wish we had more time on our vacation so we could have used more of the facilities there

Nice property!

Property was nice and the condo was comfortable. Our kids loved being near the beach and loved the pool outside of the room. The one downfall with this property was what we found upon check in. The first 3 dishes we pulled out of the cabinet had dried caked on food on the plates and dirty. The biggest problem with this is, they charge an outrageous cleaning fee, upon checkout. If the people before us paid the fee, they got ripped off, and I feel, I was ripped off as well. Paying a cleaning fee, when we spent the first hour of our vacation cleaning the dishes. I did complain, during the trip, only to have house keeping call and say they would send someone to clean the dishes. I declined the offer because, who wants people hanging out in your condo when you are trying to enjoy a vacation with the family?

Paradise at the beach

Great vacation! We had everything we needed. Greatly appreciated the beach chairs and beach toys, umbrella, games and books. Pots and kitchen utensils were plentiful. Comfortable sectional sofa. Would definitely stay here again.

QUIET AND CLEAN

It was a good overall experience. Location was a good peaceful place to stay with lots to do near by and onsite. Only problem was a lack of hot water. System could not handle more than one shower, which isn't acceptable with a condo for 6 people.
