Artist Home in Coronado Village Includes cleaning!

This is a 2 story Spanish Revival built in the 1930's. We only rent it by the month minimum. The house is on A. Avenue, close to the corner of 5th. Two bedrooms, king and queen, upstairs with bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a flat screen TV and large walk-in closet. There are three bathrooms, two with a shower and one with a bath tub. The largest bathroom contains laundry room with washer/dryer. Downstairs is the den, full bathroom, living-room, dining-room and a goumet kitchen newley remodeled. The outdoor patio off the dining room has a full BBQ and fireplace with two patio table and chairs for entertaining.

The owner of this home is a local artist. The home is charming, eclectic and comfortable with beautiful Indian and Persian rugs, hardwood floors, and artwork everywhere. 42' flat-screen TV with every program you will ever need plus VHS. There is also a flat screen in one of the bedrooms upstairs. Free wifi throughout the house
This home is spacious! Over 2600 square feet of living space.

By the month only, no nightly or weekly rentals.
This is a beautiful home. We rent our home below the market value because we want only people who will value it's uniqueness and take care of it for us when we are off traveling.
There is a full cottage in the back with a queen bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom and living area with TV and interent for an additional $3000 a month. It has it's own private parking. The home is great for entertaining but
not suitable for children under the age of 8 or dogs. There is no yard.

Susan and Joe the hosts are just like their property, first rate in every way. We booked for next year upon departure. Very unique property, nice, quiet neighborhood yet close to all there is to do.

Restful escape!!!

Susan and Joe were amazing hosts. They answered all our questions and made us feel at home. Their lovely home is charming. We love cooking and their kitchen is spectacular. The house is near all the wonderful amenities Coronado has to offer. We shall return!!!

Great Stay

The check in process could not have been easier. Susan and Joe got back to us right away when we had issues or questions. The house is unique and beautifully decorated. I love to cook and found the kitchen very well equipped. We had concerns about the parking, however that proved to be a nonissue. Good experience overall.

Fulfilling a Bucket List Item

For years we have talked of spending a month on Coronado Island. This May was our time and Susan and Joe’s home has been perfect for living our dream. Super location, friendly neighborhood, delightful surroundings, stores and restaurants in walking and biking distance, and quiet surroundings made our month fly by. Susan and Joe are superb hosts, available for any need, and interesting to talk with as well. We loved our time here.

Fabulous month!

This is our second year renting from Susan and Joe! Next year we plan to be back for two months! A fabulous location, spacious and comfortable house with every amenity including our favorite bikes. We so enjoyed the simple life without a car. When arriving they had stocked the house with plenty of things to get us started without the immediate grocery run. (including wine!) They are delightful, have great stories, helpful and a joy to be around. Thank you Susan and Joe!

Enchanting Oasis on Coronado, CA

This property and our time on Coronado far exceeded our expectations. The Artist Home is beautifully appointed. The recently renovated kitchen is lovely and stocked with all the gadgets, cookware, and cutlery that you need or want to prepare a meal away from home. This house provides ample space for two couples and plenty of room to get off on your own for quiet time. A full bathroom on the first floor was a nice amenity. The house is equipped with wifi coverage, all the cable TV stations you would want, DVD player, and a ROKU for access to Netflix & Amazon. The outside courtyard is a great location for lounging, drinks, grilling, and enjoying an evening under the stars around the fire pit. Restaurants and entertainment were within easy walking distance. We enjoyed exploring the streets of Coronado and San Diego on the bicycles that were available to us. Thank you Susan and Joe for making us feel at home on Coronado.

Comfortable and Convenient

We had a wonderful stay in this Coronado Village property! We have stayed in many VRBO properties but we have never felt so welcome. We were greeted by our gracious hosts, Susan and Joe, along with fresh flowers, a refrigerator stocked with breakfast foods and even a bottle of wine. The house is bright and airy with a beautiful new and well stocked kitchen. We spent many hours and ate many meals on the plant filled patio. Street parking was easy never a problem to park right in front of the house. Truthfully, you can just park your car and walk everywhere, as we did. A great property!!

Welcoming and homey

We're enjoying the last week of our month long stay in this gem of a house. We feel right at home here. The owners ensured we have everything we need and then some. They respect our privacy but are also friendly and quick to act on any minor concerns. The house and furnishings are beautifully maintained. We definitely want to come and stay again!

Fabulous Month

Just completed our second month long stay at this lovely home. Everything is first class and a brand new kitchen adds to the experience. Best of all the landlords are wonderful folks who live in the "casita" right behind the house and are always immediately available to help with any questions. Great location for getting on and off the island quickly and easily. Quiet! We will be back next year!

Our Winter on Fantasy Island

We have just completed our third Winter in this property and it just gets better every year. Very spacious home that is nicely furnished and has beautifully maintained grounds. Within walking distance of shopping, parks, beaches, golf, tennis and entertainment. Ample parking and low traffic area. Meets our every need and the owners are excellent people who make sure everything is in top working order.

Charming Coronado vacation rental

This is a charming, comfortable house located within walking distance of the most pristine beach in southern California, the del Coronado hotel, Spreckels Park, grocery stores, restaurants, the ferry landing (there is a ferry across the Bay to San Diego, which runs frequently) and other points of interest). It is well maintained and the owner is as charming as the home - friendly and extremely helpful. I have recommended this property to others, some of whom have stayed there and have enjoyed it as much as we did.

I lived in Coronado as a Navy brat and transferred here before retiring from a Corporate job. I was visiting my parents when I decided to make a permanent move. So glad I did. I found the perfect home on A. Avenue. The street and neighbors are quiet.

For an additional fee you may rent the cottage in the back with a queen bedroom, kitchen and bathroom when available. It is spacious and quiet. It comes with internet, flat screen TV, washer/dryer and private parking.
Walk to restaurants, movie house, theaters, shopping, library, local parks, beach and bank.
Beautiful beaches for walking and surfing
Famous Hotel Del Coronado just down the street.
Biking and walking everywhere. 2 bikes available upon request.

This home is in the village. Walk to anything.
Our unique movie therater is within walking distance. It is
an extraordinay Art Deco experience! The house is on A. Avenue close to the corner of 5 th Avenue. The street and neighbors are quiet.
There is lovely patio with a BBQ and outdoor fireplace, with a dinning table that seats four and another for just two. We have just remodeled the kitchen. We have a gardener who maintains the grounds and a lady who waters the potted plants when we are away. All you have to do is move in. There will be a few things to get you started in the refrigerator. Towels, sheets, and all you need is already there. We have two bikes if you request them. If you need a wagon for the the concerts in the park we have one, just ask.
