Sits right next to Magic Sands Beach Park
Recently remodeled direct oceanfront condo with central AC, in-unit washer and dryer and dedicated wifi
Located right on the water, this adorable oceanfront studio is well equipped and fully furnished with popular Magic Sands Beach on one side and a peaceful park on the other.
You'll fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean in a queen sized bed.
All reservations are required to digitally sign a rental agreement between the person booking and and property manager to be confirmed.

The remodeled Kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, convection oven, microwave and full sized refrigerator with all of the necessities close at hand.
The unit comes with complimentary WiFi and cable TV, along with an assigned parking space. There is an in unit washer/dryer as well as a swimming pool and 2 BBQ grills.
This building is only three floors and no elevators but it's worth the steps to get the private and best views from the building.

Kona Magic Sands has an oceanfront pool and an onsite restaurant.

Love Kona Magic Sands!

This is the fourth unit we’ve stayed in at Kona Magic Sands. We love the location next to the beach, perfect for us. The room could have been cleaner, especially the railing and slider door really need to have someone clean off the flies, windows could have been washed…weird that we pay a cleaning fee and we pretty much had to clean the room, wash towels, etc. other than that we had a great time!

Big Island treat

Can't get any closer to the water than here. Area was quiet with a small beach nextdoor. Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, great location. We'd stay here again

Good sunset views. Fairly convenient location if you are driving. Older property with some upgrades. Must carry luggage to third floor. Well equipped kitchen

Location can’t be beat! Ocean, sunsets and beach at your fingertips

Magic Sands is a fantastic location. Period. This unit has a brand new renovated kitchen, and a new fridge with filtered water. Everything else in the unit is fine; all that really matters is the view out the window; boogie boarders, surfers, boats, kayakers, whales, dolphins. You are right on the ocean, and the waves can be loud - night and day. A nice problem to have :-)

Perfection!

We enjoyed our stay - the location is fantastic! Took the beach chairs to Magic Sands every morning. There are so many fish right outside the condo - you can see them in the wake! Snorkeling was magical. The condo itself had plenty of room for my husband and I. Bed comfy, well stocked and clean. Word of advice - you can’t rely on the Kona Trolly. It’s never on time. Rent a car or use Uber/Lyft. We would definitely love to come back!

Expectation Met

It was our 45th anniversary! The unit was right on budget and located where it was central to our activities! Upon entering the unit the view will take your breath away, the sunsets are exquisite, the ocean breezes and the sound of the waves are phenomenal and constant, you will leave the doors open as we did continuously! Dawn and Tim were reachable at anytime & promptly replied on our inquiries. There were 2 pods of Dolphins that swam right in front of the lanai! What a site! If you love barbecuing they have a couple they were handy for the steaks! It’s fully equipped with appliances, linens, dishes and even beach chairs, we had a spectacular time, enjoy your time there! 5+ rating Tom & Deb (Canada)

Dirty sheets

We arrived from the mainland tired and soon got into bed. The first thing I noticed was that sheets smelled bad. They were stinky!! I tried to go to sleep. I was so tired, but the smell kept me awake. I kept waking up to the smell. I decided to go to grocery the first thing in the morning and wash the sheets. Fortunately there was a washer and detergent there. When I removed the sheets, there was sand where the feet would be. My conclusion was that someone had been sleeping in those sheets! Disgusting!!!

Amazing sunset views

Condo was comfortable for my husband and i with amazing view of ocean and sunsets in paradise. The beach right next door was perfect for lounging and boogie boarding. Nice amenities especially washer/dryer in condo and beach chairs and umbrella. Would stay here again.

Great Spot!

This is an old classic cinderblock shoreline complex that has been renovated into modern studios - right on the shore with the perfect southwest position to view the sunsets.. The white noise from the beach was out of this world and we slept very well on the firm mattress. The waters right off the complex offer excellent snorkeling and they have a well maintained large swimming pool for those who prefer that too. the appliances are brand new and everything worked for us. We barely used the AC, the breeze through the unit from the ocean and secure screen door was all we needed.

Great location, quiet with the best beach for waves and relaxing. Kitchen is fully equipped but the view is the best part! Nice, tidy little condo. Ideal location to walk and relax.

It was a nice place to stay, had every thing we needed. Ocean was noisy and it was hot so we closed windows and turned on AC at night. Never used pool, but it looked nice. location was good. not too noisy. shower water could have been hotter, especially problematic when dish washer was running, but tolerable. Safe in cabinet did not work, maybe needs batteries. dragging luggage up stairs is a chore, but only do it once per trip. I would stay there again.

That view!

Although this condo is on a busy street, you don’t even know it once you are inside! The ocean view is spectacular! We enjoyed the sunset every evening, watching dolphins play and the sound of the surf. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the beach was steps away!

This is the 5th time we stayed at Magic Sands and have loved it every time. Mornings are special drinking coffee watching for whales, spinner dolphins, and the locals trying to catch one of the monster waves at the beach next door.

This place was perfect for us

This place was perfect for us. The building is older and seems to be in some state of repair… However… This apartment was perfect, updated, I’ll kinds of amenities , Like beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, coffee maker, ceiling fans, sliding glass doors that open to the ocean, crashing waves underneath the balcony… Would stay here again. Stunning Location and Sounds

My main desire for booking this property was to be able to hear the beach from the room and to have access to the nearby shore. Both did not disappoint. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves crashing into the rocks was perfect, and a short walk to the beach provided regular opportunities to swim and bask in the sun. We rarely heard sounds from others staying in the rooms nearby and it provided an amazing Hawaii experience. Will definitely book again!

Family vacation

We rented 2 condos here, one for my daughter and her family, and one for the 2 of us. The location is ideal, next to a beach, snorkeling, and restaurant. Nice pool and amenities. Great for kids and adults.

Lovely condo, much crazier Magic Sands Beach!!!

Condo is nice, truly well done, with everything one would need ( although my my hubby fixed boogie boards so they had “leashes “) I initially didn’t like the no outside lanai, but apparently, those are all being reconstructed. I adjusted Magic Sands Beach was great, ver early in the morning. Otherwise it was like Spring break , just crazy! Plus the surf was rough the whole time! We saw ambulances, frequent lifeguard warnings, etc. Still love it, but definitely it has changed!
