Steps away from Kona Magic Sands Beach

Rate are $199 per night. A one -time cleaning/maintenance fee of $130 will be made. Minimum 3 night stay.

Comfort- No hot humid nights- New modern Air conditioning from the roof top, controls one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. It is open design ,the bedroom is not totally separate from the kitchen.

This luxurious, absolute ocean-front corner unit is perfect for your special romantic occasions, however, it will sleep four. This is not a studio unit, most of Condos in Kona Magic Sands are 400 sg ft, this large 3rd floor corner wide open unit is 660 sq ft. Privacy, security & sunset views are all yours for your vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii. The unit has a fully equipped view oriented kitchen, living room, with sliding glass doors that open to the ocean - where Whales, Dolphins, Green Turtles and a myriad of colorful fish can be seen most days. The bath has a tub & shower. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors invite the outside in, creating a spectacular indoor environment.

The kitchen has a large refrigerator/freezer, the oven is a convection/microwave, the stove has 2 burners and there is a dishwasher.

Common areas of Kona Magic Sands Condos are well maintained and clean, has a pool, BBQ (propane) , grounds, individual parking space, laundry room which has 2 washers. Machines take quarters, 4 quarters per load.

Keauhou Shopping Center is 3 miles south on Alli Drive. There is a Kita Grocery Store, Pizza Parlor, Longs Drugstore etc.

Kona Magic Sands 314 is more like a Penthouse. It is truly Magic

Amazing ocean views and next to beach

We loved the unit and the great views of the ocean. This larger unit was helpful for our family of four. Our boys loved Magic Sands beach right next door. They boogie boarded to their hearts content. The condo was well-stocked, including beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, etc. It was the best stocked of the three condos that we stayed at for this trip.

Amazing location & views!

Comfortable, convenient, great location, amazing views. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, including a great beach next door and a restaurant on-site. We loved watching the sunsets and dolphins swimming by.

Property has great view of ocean and sunsets. Has all the accommodations you need for a week in Kona. Next to a great beach and close to town.

Great Location!

Spectacular waterfront property! We enjoyed watching the sun set and listening to the waves crash every night. Free shuttle to downtown and nice beach right next door. Great restaurant on site.

Loved the unbeatable sunset with sound of crashing waves throughout day and night. Unit was self sufficient, could use some furniture updating but overall acceptable.

1st Trip to Kona

We stayed on a corner condo and it was amazing!! The condo was clean, perfect size for a couple and right by the beach. We loved hearing the waves crashing at night, slept amazing!

Great Location

We enjoyed watching the sunset, numerous whales and dolphins swim past everyday. This location is a little out of town and right on the beach, easy access to wherever you want to go for the day. Unfortunately, there was construction going on both below this unit and next to the pool. The condo could use some TLC and more comfortable furniture.

Amazing views

The views are what are truly spectacular about this place. We watched beautiful sunsets from our panoramic room. It’s a studio apt set up but quite large.

Magic Sands stay

Nice location. Studio unit. There is a popular beach next door (although watch your time of year since the sand "disappears" exposing rock). We enjoyed the restaurant/bar attached to property. Some construction noise during our stay, but it wasn't too bad since it was at the other end of the building. Pool is very comfortable temperature. View from unit is directly to the ocean and very nice!

These were the best two weeks ever! This is the perfect place, the view, the location, and the magic! Best vacay ever! The most beautiful beach, the sound of the waves 24/7, the fantastic, and always delicious Magic's Grill, and the best beach shack in the world!! Location is key. And service second to none. AMAZING location between two parks, one a daredevil boogie board spot. Close to great Snorkeling. All needed beach gear is available in the condo. Condo is beautiful wall of windows overlooking the waves, with crazy good sunset and star views.

Spectacular, inside and out

The unit was gorgeous, well equipped and with plenty of storage space. And the views were breathtaking. A winter storm removed the sand from the beach (hence, Magic Sand), but the huge waves gave a spectacular show. Parking was convenient and the stairs were on the corner, leading right up to the unit. The location is convenient for seeing the sights all around.

The view of the crashing sea, changing sky and sunsets not forgetting marine life ( see yellow tangs and other tropical fish) are the draw points -and walking proximity to an excellent beach and snorkeling spot 5 mins away. Highly recommend swimming with manta rays in Keauhou Bay ( 5 mins drive away). My Kona Adventures. Spacious condo, full kitchen facilities and comfortable queen bed. Appreciated the extras such as deck chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear. Would definitely return again.

40th Anniversary

This was the first half of a two week getaway with my wife. This was our first vacation rental and it was nearly perfect. Some things that weren’t perfect but I don’t feel it should affect the 5 star is that there is construction on the property and the pool wasn’t available for the first couple days due to a high tide that flooded the pool (tells you how close we were). That said, the condo was clean, well furnished and the desire to be close to the ocean was achieved! Wonderful place to just enjoy the waves from a comfortable chair. I would strongly recommend this condo. It was easy to check in and check out!! Look forward to returning perhaps later this year.

Place was great but check-in not

Cute studio, right on the water so close you can see the fish in the waves! Plenty of towels and sheets, has dishwashing soap, etc. Bad part was when we got here and called to get the code for the door, no one picked up the phone. We called for 45 minutes. Finally texted the emergency number and got a person to call us back. that was annoying. Instructions said to call...

Just 25 feet from the Seawall, Surf and Fish.

Nice unit with killer view. Floor to ceiling windows on west and north sides with ocean view. Older unit, but in good shape. Slept with all sliding doors open most nights to the roar of the surf. Used air conditioning a few times. Has pool and lawn area not accessible or visible to the public -- had it to ourselves most of the time. Corner parking spot right outside the unit with lots of room to open the car doors, but with 2 flights of stairs. Lots of yellow fish, black fish and eels visible in water from unit. Beach to the south and park to the north of the building.

A bit disappointed

This apartment has a very nice view on the ocean and very cool to be so close to White sand beach. However, The air conditioning was not working when we arrived. We tried to communicate with the owner and he never answered. We never had any e-mail from him to help nor to apologize. It was so hot for our first night. Someone from the local contact finally called us back on the next day. She said it was repaired but it was not when we came back in the condo at the end of our second day and still so hot. We had to call her again. She was nice and came back to finally fix it. The condo is not for 5 since there is not any fitted sheet nor any cover sheet for the extra mattress so thin even for a kid. Air dryer was not working.

If I get home sick we can always go to the hills behind Hilo.I also like the average temperatures 81 to 87 unlike the desert extremes 67 January to 107 July. The unit 314 has been tastefully updated with antique furniture. It's 3 miles South of the main Kona strip which I regard as a good thing. But it is still on Alii Drive for nice morning or evening peaceful walks. Yet you are only minutes away from town.It has a great location right next to the ocean. You couldn't be closer without being in it. The view on this total glass corner unit really makes it and allows for fabulous sunset views. This unit has a large WOW factor.

The size of the condo. Most of the condos at Kona Magic Sands are 400 sq ft ours is 660 sq ft. The Lani's is enclosed, so you can sit at your table with the glass doors open and see and hear the waves. You also wake up in the morning and sit up in bed and see the ocean. It's amazing.Dophins and Whales are often seen right out in the ocean from your unit.
It's right on Magic Sands Beach, which is a great beach. There aren't a ton of swimming beaches right in Kona and this one is one of the best. Some of the best boogie boarding and snorkeling on the Island. 314 is on the 3rd floor with extra great views and no street noise. It is air conditioned ,has a spa tub and numbered parking. Separate Wifi with network cable ports,road runner Time Warner Cable
