An authentic historic Scheffer cottage in quiet neighborhood with private yard, this house has been a family summer home for many years. You'll find easy access to a great and uncrowded beach with fishing and surfing - just a short walk (5 minutes) or bike ride away. The peaceful outdoor area is complete with a trellised outdoor dining area overlooking the lawn–perfect for al fresco lunch or lobster dinners–as well as a separate brick side terrace with grill and dining table, a fabulous outdoor shower (with perfect water pressure), and a grassy lawn with a horseshoe pit. Indoors on the first floor, you'll find a comfortable and casual living room with a fireplace and large dining room table, a fully outfitted kitchen, and powder room with tub. Bedroom setups include a first floor master bedroom with queen size bed and in-suite bath with tub. The two upstairs bedrooms have 2 twins or 1 king each and a shared bath with shower, followed by a separate ground floor bunk room with in-suite bath and shower. All bedrooms have AC and heat. House is stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach games.

About the area: the cottage is located less than a 5 minutes drive from Amagansett town, the LIRR station, and the Jitney stop. East Hampton is a 10 minute drive west, and Montauk is a 15 minute drive east. This house perfectly situates you in the center of The Hamptons while giving you peaceful quiet and proximity to the beach.
