18STR09721 Gorgeous Creole house recently renovated to perfection and ideally located in the hip Lower Garden District on Magazine St. It's walking distance to the French Quarter and Downtown/Warehouse District on one side and shops galore in Uptown on the other. (5 blks to the Convention Cntr). Many of the very best restaurants in New Orleans are an easy walk, and only three blocks to the St. Charles Streetcar line. This house has everything and is perfect for big family celebrations especially when paired with the King of Magazine next door (property 1039236). Our concierge will work with you to ensure that your trip to New Orleans is perfect. The house comes with everything you would find in an upscale hotel only with 4800 extra square feet. There is a fantastic courtyard in back to enjoy coffee in the morning or happy hour in the afternoon. The kitchen and living space is huge with 14 foot ceilings and all high end appliances. The bedrooms are also large with very high ceilings and luxury bedding. This just might be the best rental in NOLA.

Awesome vacation

The house is wonderful and the location is great for either hoping down to the quarter or exploring uptown. Would definitely recommend. Courtney was great at getting what we needed to make stay effortless.

Great location and cool house

We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoying relaxing while being close to the trolley and even a quick 15-20min walk to the French quarter. Overall great accommodations, kitchen could be restocked with things like hot pads and measuring cups but I’m sure it’s just normal wear and tear. Highly recommend staying here with a large group.

We absolutely loved the house. It was the perfect size for all of our friends to stay with us for our wedding. You couldn’t ask for a better location as well. We loved every second of staying there and would love to stay again in the future!

The queen of magazine, truly

This home has so much charm and is in an incredible location. Myself and 4 co-workers stayed for over a week and our stay was just perfect! The space is very large and has all modern amenities anyone could ask for. The hosts are wonderful and made our stay seamless and easy. Highly recommended all around, we’ll be back!

Perfect home for our Girl's Trip

The Queen on Magazine was the perfect house for our girls trip for Mardi Gras! There was ample space for our group and everything that we needed plus more! The beds were very comfortable, the common areas are very spacious and comfortable! Communication was outstanding and the host was very accommodating and made everything so easy for us!We can't wait to come back next year and stay at the Queen again!!!

Beautiful Stay

The house was absolutely lovely, and the location was great. It was very spacious and tastefully decorated. They even put up a Christmas tree. Plenty of room for our 9 family members. Pillows and beds were comfortable too. We would wholeheartedly stay here again!

Amazing Home!

Everything about this home was truly magical! It was as beau as it looks online! The owner and concierge were both super attentive and easy to work with! They made our stay perfection! I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautifully elegant place to stay in NOLA!

Perfect trip!

The house was even better than the photos! It was a beautiful space overall. Very clean and a huge space that was perfect (maybe even too much space!) for my group of 6. The property manager was very communicative and flexible. My friends and I had an amazing time and the property was the icing on the cake!

This is the spot you want!

I stayed here with my girlfriends for my bachelorette and it was perfect in every way. It was spacious for big groups wanting a communal area while also wanting their own space in their room. The area was great and walkable to a few restaurants, which was perfect for a bach. Kurt is an incredible host - we appreciated you!

Beautiful, grand and comfortable place in NOLA!

This was a such a great property for our large group to stay together comfortably on our visit to New Orleans. The soaring ceilings, beautiful wood floors, gorgeous kitchen, comfy beds, abundant bathrooms and great outdoor space were perfect for our group. Just a short walk to immerse yourself in the garden district or a quick ride to the quarter. Plus good food options very close by and parking if you have a car. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay with a group again.

Great location, great rental

This was a great rental for a group of friends. A lot of great inside/outside living and it was really cozy and comfortable. They had extras of everything if you run out (paper towels, soaps, etc.). I had good communication with the property management. We truly had so much fun and would definitely rent again.

Beautiful home and perfect location for family wedding weekend

This beautiful 3 story home in the lower Garden District was the perfect location with gated parking, a huge kitchen open to living and dining areas, an intimate patio with sting lights, and the most charming bedrooms. Our family was in and out for a long wedding weekend, and I am so grateful we had this actual home for home base as opposed to separate hotel rooms. Courtney our concierge was a pleasure to work with, and she made sure we had everything we needed and more. I would stay here again!!

Outstanding Property!!

Very very nice home that we enjoyed for 5 nights with 10 family members!!!🤠 Plenty of space to spread out and relax as well as to gather around the large kitchen island! The Queen on Magazine

Fantastic. Great location. Classic old charm. It is three stories and stairs a little steep but it was built in 1895, what do you expect. In town for an old college friends trip to Tulane game but we did a lot of other stuff as well. Loved the location

Great time in New Orleans!

The set up was perfect for what we needed. We had a great time celebrating my son and being all together. The house is beautiful but it definitely needs some work. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced but I have to say the beds were very comfortable. The center bath on the second floor smells musty and some of the curtains are kinda gross. There are a lot of steps in the house so if you plan on staying on the third floor start doing the stair master at the gym🤪. (Actually the third floor was perfect for my daughter and her family)

Enjoyed New Orleans

We enjoyed our stay in New Orleans. We had 6 ladies on our annual trip. The house was beautiful and very close to great restaurants. The Bower restaurant 1 block from the house was amazing. We definitely used the free parking space that came with the house. The house just needed some hand rails to hold on to in the raised tubs. Our checkin process was a bit tough. The key holder box was stuck. 3 of us tried to open it during a major down pour. I would change to keypad like a lot of other VRBOs. So much easier. We enjoyed the trip! Overall a nice spot to visit New Orleans.

Thank you Lynn and I am glad you had a nice time in New Orleans. So other readers know there are two gated parking spaces and there are very nice walk in showers as an alternative to the tubs. We have never had any trouble with folks using the lock box but will look into key pads and thank you for that suggestion.

Family Wedding Weekend

We were three adult siblings and spouses visiting NOLA for our nephew's wedding. Venue, restaurants, coffee shops, WWII museum and quaint neighborhood all within walking distant from the house. Short cab ride to French Quarter and airport. House is very comfortable, spacious, fully appointed and clean. If you're a light sleeper, I would suggest choosing one of the back bedrooms as there was a lot of street noise at night. Also, as an FYI to future renters: there are two, very steep and long, wooden stairways which may inhibit anyone with back or leg issues. A big thank you to Courtney, our concierge. She was readily available to answer any of our questions and has excellent knowledge of the area. We had an amazing weekend!!

Garden District Gem

Our family and friends spent 6 great days in NOLA, in part due this stately house. Close to great restaurants and the WWII museum, it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go (we even walked from Bacchanal restaurant in the Bywater back to the house). When we went to Audubon Park and Zoo we hopped on the nearby streetcar...so much fun. The large house had plenty of space for our group of nine...it could easily accommodate several more. While we didn't cook (it's NOLA after all), the kitchen was spacious and well appointed and the courtyard was a great place for relaxing with friends/family. Admittedly, my wife and I are clean freaks, so we felt the place could use a deep cleaning (on the surface, it was fine). And we all felt that the furniture looked like it came from local estate sales, versus furniture that would be in someone's grand Lower Garden District home. Any small issues we did have were immediately taken care of...customer service was excellent and the management was kind, courteous, and very helpful. Overall, a great place to stay for a large group.

Amazingly beautiful place in a great area!

We rented both this spot (the “Queen”) and the adjacent spot (the “King”) for Thanksgiving. There were 11 of us, and we wanted plenty of space. We wanted to have family time, but also to be able to retire to our own spaces. This was the perfect solution. The restorations they did are beautiful! The Queen, in particular, has a ton of warmth and character. The service was also fantastic. The kitchen has wonderful gourmet appliances, but since we would be cooking Thanksgiving dinner (and I was going to be doing pies), I wanted to make sure everything we needed would be available. Courtney was extremely friendly and responsive and went above and beyond by providing us with a new food processor and pie pans. That was extremely classy. If I were to have one minor complaint, it would be that the front bedrooms could be a bit loud with traffic noise at times, but that’s not the fault of anybody. With that, however, you get proximity to the French Quarter, the St. Charles Streetcar, the WWII Museum, a nearby park, and some cute and tasty coffee shops, breakfast places, and beer/whiskey spots. I would only recommend that the light sleepers may want to sleep in one of the bedrooms not facing the front. You will have a wonderful stay if you choose this spot. :)
