Our home is located on Magazine Street in the Lower Garden District, one of the most historic neighborhoods in New Orleans. At your doorstep are Greek revival and Victorian mansions, museums, and world-class restaurants. Walk down Magazine Street and explore the miles of galleries, antique stores, and boutiques waiting for you there. The WWII Museum is 2 blocks away. While this charming part of town provides a tranquil refuge from the thrill of French Quarter, it is truly a destination in itself.



All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.



Getting Around:

Our convenient location and safe neighborhood makes this your ultimate travel destination. We are nestled in the beautiful Lower Garden District while still close to most major sites. We are a 5 minute walk from the St Charles at Erato streetcar stop, and the neighborhood features plentiful on street parking. While there is plenty to see and do here on foot, we are a quick 5-7 minute drive to the Superdome and French Quarter or a 20-25 minute walk.

ā€“We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group!

ā€“The pool is open and heated from Labor Day through Memorial Day. If you are booking dates bordering these holidays and are interested in having the pool heated, please let us know and we will determine if this request can be accommodated with our winterizing schedule.

ā€“The hot tub is open for year-round use, but does have scheduled maintenance. We will do our best to inform guests of pool and hot tub maintenance anytime this needs to occur and keep it as short as possible to maximize your use and enjoyment.

This house is beautiful! Our group of 10 was completely comfortable - we never felt crowded and it had all the amenities we could have wanted. The weather was nice so we were able to use the backyard space too - so fun! The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very high quality. We walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed the beautiful architecture and charm. We would definitely Stay again.

Amazing house - so much room and so well appointed. Hosts were very responsive. The only downside is that there is a bar next door that has outside seating. It's not obnoxious or loud but it is active so weekend nights can be a little noisy. And it is closer to the freeway than I had imagined so we were not comfortable walking to nearby places due to homeless camps not far away. But the overall neighborhood was fine, with cute places to dine and visit.

We were a group of 40s women who came to NOLA to celebrate our friendā€™s upcoming marriage. The house is beautiful, and conducive to large groups. We enjoyed the outside area a lot! Communication with Frank was very responsive regarding a few minor issues we had. Location was great! Great shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the neighborhood is safe. Just a quick Uber ride to the French Quarter. We loved our stay in NOLA and would absolutely recommend staying here!

This is a well designed, clean and comfortable home. Not all bedrooms have bathrooms or closets. May or may not be a need for your stay. Itā€™s a great location with French truck coffee directly across the street. The house was stylishly designed, very comfortable lofted ceiling family room kitchen. Great for entertaining a With outdoor courtyard and pool. The dishwasher did not work. I communicated this to Heirloom on our first night. We cook a lot and the kitchen is wonderful for this. Heirloom completely ignored our request regarding this. I contacted the numerous times. It was never addressed. I also reached out to Heirloom to ask if we could leave our luggage for a few extra hours on departure. They did not Anaheim phone and responded an hour after check out time. Great house, good location but poor guest hospitality.

Wish the pool worked

First, the house is beautiful, but being a full time rental it can definitely use some upgrades. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the condition of the pool. It did not look like it was working or being filtered, it was very dirty from top to bottom. It was gross to the point most of our group refused to go in it, our neighbors (also heirloom) had a similar issue with the pool and both groups in that rental also refused to use the pool. The dishwasher was broken, along with the ice machine. We notified heirloom and they sent a maintenance tech out. He was the best thing about our stay, very friendly and did all that he could to make us comfortable. He was incredible. The ice machine was fixed, but the dishwasher was a no go, so we hand washed everything, not a big deal. Their were other things broken like the large ceiling fan, and tile coming up in the bathrooms. Itā€™s little things like this that were upsetting for the price we paid. The check in process was easy, but our flight landed at 10am and we werenā€™t allowed to check in early and could only drop our bags off after 2 so that was not enjoyable. Overall the house is built for groups, there is plenty of sleeping room with 10 beds, and the location is ok. I wouldnā€™t recommend walking to the French quarter from there especially at night time, but still a cool place to stay. I truly wish the pool was working tho because that is why we booked the house and it was a super hot weekend

Amazing home with a few kinks

We have stayed in a number of rental homes over the last year, and this is one of the nicest. It has a wonderful location and plenty of space, especially given that it's in the urban core. The art is really interesting, and our entire family was impressed all around. Before arriving, we were concerned about on-street parking. That turned out to not be an issue - we found a spot directly in front about 80% of the time. At no point did we have to park more than 5 houses away. I would say that there were a couple of kinks that were disappointing, especially in the context of how wonderful everything else was and given the price we paid. The most frustrating was that the knob for the oven was missing. We were there over Thanksgiving week. Without the oven knob and the temperature gauge, we had to ditch the turkey and get a ham instead. I tried emailing the property owner twice and didn't receive a response. That was strange, especially given how prompt his replies had been before we checked in. The shower upstairs puddled up - it basically needs someone to clean the drain. Lastly, we were a bit surprised that there was no guest handbook of any substance. There was a sign that allowed us to quickly connect to the Internet; however, we were left to fend for ourselves for more mundane things like how to turn off certain lights or how to properly run the dishwasher. The good news is that the kinks would be easy to fix, and I would stay there again without any hesitation, even with the missing oven knob and slow-draining shower.

Gorgeous Stay on Magazine Street

This house is simply breathtaking. We were only a small group of 4 but due to an offseason price break, we took advantage of this luxury stay. The home is beautifully decorated and had great amenities such as a heated pool and lux kitchen. Loved the master bath soaking tub. The enormous couches were amazing but white is not a good color for guests.

Wonderful house with lots of extras!

Exactly as described! Loved all the extras such as trash bags, shampoo, lots of towels, detergent, etc.... Very clean and beautiful house! Only complaint was ice makers didnā€™t work, other than that! Perfect!!!

Amazing Home With Beds to Spare

Home is super spacious and was clean to near perfection. (Probably a bad idea to have a white couch for a rental for large groups though, it could use a cleaning). Plenty of beds, great for couples with kids or friends who want their own beds. Two bedrooms had en-suite full bathrooms. Appreciated the shampoos in the bathroom and the laundry soap. Kitchen was great, though the oven wasn't working for us. It could use a blender and plastic reusable glasses. It stated no glassware outside because of the pool so it would have been nice to have non-glass ones available. Loved having a laundry upstairs and down. The living room/kitchen can get warm because of all the windows later in the day. Noise maker would probably be good for anyone staying in the room close to the street. Pool is perfect for lounging in, but because of the heat in NOLA is definitely on the warm side. We couldn't get the jets working in the hot tub and it never got much warmer than the pool. But it's a nice feature. Didn't use the grill outside, but it was a good bonus to see. Really convenient location to everything and I would enjoy staying here again.

Beautiful NOLA house!

Great experience in New Orleans! The house was spacious and well appointed. Great location and size for our large party. Property manager was responsive to all our questions. Would love to return to this property or any other managed by Heirloom. Could have done without the early morning maintenance contractors.

Perfect for our Bachelor Party weekend

I hosted a party weekend for 13 guys. This house was perfect! Plenty of room for us all to hang out together, and no shortage of sleeping spaces. The back yard with hot tub, grill, and covered porch was a big hit too. Lots of amenities nearby, coffee shop across the street, bar next door, and sandwich shop block away. Short Uber ride or 5 min bike ride to the quarter. Quiet at night. Place looks exactly like the photos, tastefully decorated ala Restoration Hardware. Every one was wowed when they walked in. (Iā€™m a high end luxury custom home builder) I highly recommend!

Most relaxing getaway

Itā€™s hard to believe this house is in the city. The house and backyard is surprisingly quiet! The pool was the entire reason I picked the place and it did not disappoint. I would definitely love to come back more often for a nice little get away.

Amazing!

Incredible house - so well stocked, so beautifully done. One small door jam issue came up and the Heirloom team came over to fix it within an hour - it was amazing. The location is fantastic - so many cute restaurants and stores all the way down Magazine. This house really made our trip!

One of the best vacation rentals

We stayed here for my best friendā€™s bachelorette and couldnā€™t have been happier with how it all worked out. Frank gave us a really nice heads up about the backyard but we didnā€™t mind at all! The home itself has lots of gathering spaces and you can easily hang out on the porch (if youā€™re brave enough to ditch the AC lol). I donā€™t know whoā€™s getting married next but Iā€™d love to find an excuse to book here again!

Beautiful home for a large group or family. Great area thatā€™s fun to walk around in. We cooked most of our meals in the house and found everything we needed in the kitchen, which is rare for VRBOs. Frank you were a great host, thanks.
