Four Seasons of Northern Michigan Fun in this Newly Remodeled Chalet Style Home. Situated on 4+ acres nestled in the woods on the Beautiful Clam River. Just mins to Cadillac and Lake City. Surrounded by wildlife galore. Minutes to several All-Sports Lakes for fishing, swimming, kayaking and boating.

**The Clam river is beautiful to wade in, to splash and cool off or to catch minnows, it’s usually about knee deep, not good for kayaking or fishing.

Three Bedrooms plus a loft. (Please be aware of the sleeping arrangements, there are three single beds in a bedroom upstairs, another single in a second bedroom up, and a king sized bed in the loft upstairs. There are two queen options on the main level, one in a bedroom and the second is a pull out sofa.)

*Quiet time is 10pm, this is not a party spot. While we welcome up to ten people, we do not encourage a party or family reunion. (It’s too much stress on the well and septic system to have any more people than ten.) No fireworks! (Fire Hazard with the heavily wooded setting.)

Second stay here.

This will be our second stay here and it was just as great as the first time. Great location clean with everything you would need nearby. The owners are great people. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Property!

This was a beautiful property! Very clean and spacious for our girl's weekend. Close to hiking and kayaking. Property owner was very responsive and great to work with. Would stay here again in the future.

Excellent home

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and very well taken care of. Plenty of room for the seven people on our trip. Very peaceful outdoor setting. I would highly recommend staying at this property if you’re planning to visit the area.

Relaxing and Peaceful Vacation

Everything was as listed and pictured. Very well cared for place, inside and outside. Denise was very easy to work with. Definitely, recommend staying here. We plan to book again for next year!

Peaceful and comfortable!

We had a lovely stay. The home was well stocked, clean and cozy. The property was lovely! My kiddo enjoyed playing in the stream and playing the board games available. Overall we had a great time! Thank you!

Everything was perfect!

Amazing Stay

The property was exactly as advertised. We had plenty of room inside as well as outside the house. The property was well maintained along with the home. The yard was perfect for us as we hung out on Saturday and played yard games the entire day and enjoyed the wonderful fire pit at night. I would definitely stay there again!

great little hideaway

Well kept and manicured. House is super clean and has everything you think you need for your stay, and then more! I had the wrong passcode for the keypad when we arrived and Denise responded to my text immediately with the correct code so we could get in. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely love to come back again!

Cottage in the woods

We are return clients and always love this place. Loved our time their this autumn for our color tour! We did have trouble with the internet and TV connections.

Fantastic house!

Beautiful and very clean house with all the little things you might ever need. The owner is very thoughtful about providing anything you might need or have forgotten. Great location central to many different areas and experiences. Very peaceful and beautiful. My family had the best time and definitely plan to make this one of our regular vacation destinations!

Perfect snow getaway

The home is so cute and fun. We got away for a family snow weekend. Went skiing 30 min to the west and the kids had fun. Would recommend a little space heater for one of the rooms as if the door is closed, it gets cold. Very clean and well stocked kitchen!

Perfect home for a family!!!

This home made my family trip so easy and fun. Lot of toys, inside and outside. The swing set with slide was perfect to keep the kids busy outside while you sit and enjoy the fire. Very clean home. I am definitely planning on going back cause my kids loved being there. Thank you Denise for being so available.

Diane and Phil are the owners of this beautiful home. They enjoy the serenity the river offers, as neighbors to this property. They enjoy gardening, hunting, fishing and everything outdoors! Recently retired from the Christmas Tree Industry, and owners of a Conifer Nursery, they now have time for their 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Diane and Phil's daughter and son in law manage the property. Denise and Tom will meet you and see to your needs.
