MIRABELLA is ideally located near some of the worlds most unique and beautiful beaches, including the popular Baths, Spring Bay, Savannah Bay and many more. The 1500 square foot home on 1 acre of land is a 20 minute walk or a few minutes drive to the nearest beaches. All year long the warm, turquoise waters invite you to swim, sail, snorkel, scuba-dive, and general lazing around the white sand beaches. Adding to the relaxation and pleasure of your vacation are the nearby restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. All that beautiful Virgin Gorda has to offer is readily accessible within a short drive from Mirabella.

Sitting atop Windy Hill overlooking The Valley & Spanish Town, Mirabella always provides beautiful views of the Caribbean, Atlantic, & Gorda Peak and receives the benefit of the cool trade winds.
It is the perfect spot for couples and families to relax and enjoy life! Mirabella makes an excellent home base for island hopping the BVI.

The 2 King bedrooms/2 bathrooms are separated by the tastefully decorated, spacious living quarters. The West king bedroom has an additional set of bunk beds. The maximum capacity for each bunk is 250#. The second bathroom is right outside of this room. The East king bedroom has an en-suite bathroom which includes a sunken stone shower.

All rooms have vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans and screened windows. There is a 75' deck along the front of the house offering comfortable outside living and a shady oasis for relaxation. It is wonderful to simply sit on the deck and be mesmerized by the enchanting, ever-changing sunsets which add to the romance and magic of the island.

To make children’s stay more comfortable there is a highchair, 2 porto-cribs, and a 'One Step Ahead' toddlers bed for the floor Please inquire regarding pets.

One of the most impressive features of the island is what is not there. Virgin Gorda has no cities and very few people. Matching the warmth of nature is the warmth of the people. If you enjoy a vacation spot where doing 'nothing' has been developed into an art form, you will enjoy Virgin Gorda! Perhaps your biggest decision will be, 'What beach should we go to today?' Mirabella on Virgin Gorda will be enjoyed by 'children' of all ages. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

You may fly into Tortola (EIS) airport or St Thomas (STT) and then ferry to Virgin Gorda. The arrival time to VG works out to be about the same.

Mirabella is Quite Charming

We visited with friends and found the house charming, open and airy. The host was very informative which helped with our planning. The on-site hostess was delightful and responsive to our needs including meeting us at the ferry! Such service. We also liked having the grill so that we didn't have to eat out every night. A plus for us. Thx loads!!

Not clean

The location was fine. The home was not clean upon arrival the blanket on the guest bedroom was visibly dirty. Very dark in the home-only one light bulb working. Lots a spider webs and dust throughout the home which gives and idea that it's not being cleaned regularly as should since it's being rented out. The Landscape was poor with over grown trees that prevent the beautiful view of the hills and water. The yard is not being kept up. It served our last minute purpose but wouldn't return for

Everything we needed

The stay here was great! We had everything we needed and loved the full kitchen to cook meals. It was as expected; not luxury but more than enough for us to have an amazing time.

Lovely Island Oasis

I would recommend renting a car to stay at this property as it is remote and in the hills. This property is ideal for those who seek a relaxing retreat with beautiful views of the ocean and landscape.

Fantastic home, great location, lovely views

I have been to Mirabella several times over the years with both friends and family. This time no one else could travel with me so I went by myself. I had a fantastic time. Although I did not need a whole house to myself, when you considered I had a full kitchen and could cook my own meals it was more economical than staying at a resort and I had tons of room, my privacy, and I felt like I was actually visiting Virgin Gorda and not a resort on Virgin Gorda. This is my first trip back since the renovation. I loved the house before and now I love it even more. Replacing the sliding doors with louvered windows is a great update. And as always the decor is tasteful island chic. So if you are looking for a clean, spacious home, minutes from the main beaches (the Baths, Spring Bay, &Trunk Bay)and shops with amazing sunset view over the harbor look no further.

Wonderful House in a great location.

I stayed here with my daughter and two nieces. It had everything we needed as a home away from home. The house is lovely, and the yard and grounds are very well kept. The lovely gate kept the yard secure the girls played outside til dark. The beach is close , as is the grocery store and bakery. It's a lovely house with friendly neighbors. It's a great value for your vacation dollar as well as a fantastic place to make vacation memories.

Summer 2015

I struggle to write a poor review for this house since Sharon, the owner was so helpful during our stay. We stayed here the in the summer of 2015. The house is fine. You have all the amenity's you need. However, looking at the updated house as Sharon says, I wonder what has been updated unless there might be new counters in the kitchen, which sorely is in need of updates, especially new cupboards that are original to the house and had tiny black bugs on the counters constantly present, likely living in the wood. We had only one problem with the water and electricity being shut down for a portion of one day when we came home from the beach. Sadly, the day we lost the power was also a day that we were robbed in this house, so it was even scarier to not have phone service. That is not the worst of it. It was the second time someone broke in to the house. I am not sure why we stayed around the first time. We ended up leaving and renting in a gated resort but with a higher price tag. It was worth it! Sharon was kind enough to refund the last few days we left but not the entire week. The reason i am writing this one year later is that I noticed that in the "update", the glass sliding doors are still present. This is where the break in occurred. I was told after our visit that the problem was rectified. That door is so old that even replacing a lock would not keep someone out. This experience really ruined our vacation. Luckily it was on the tale end of a 3 week island hoping vacation and not in the beginning. It sounds like other visitors had much better stays than we did. It could have been a one time deal and we were the recipients of bad luck. All I can say is the area is sketchy, the house is still not safe, but the home is doable. Sorry :(

Great vacation home rental

My wife and I rented Mirabella home for five days in February 2016. The home is well-appointed, spacious, clean and very homey. It has spectacular views as it is high on a hill, good parking, and is only 10 minutes by car to the Baths and other major attractions. Sharon was most accommodating and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals; free wifi; TV; comfortable beds. We would definitely return to Mirabella.

Great Vacation/Great House!

Great house on a perfect island

My family of 5 really enjoyed our 1 week stay there. The house is clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient - just minutes from the Baths and the amenities of Spanish Town, breezy nights on the hill with no need for A/C. We Loved Mirabella!

"We loved staying at Mirbella. The house was so much more than we had expected and had every little thing we needed to make our stay fantastic. It was so easy to get to the beaches and all of the other places we wanted to go. The people there were very friendly and helpful. Felt 100% safe every minute of our stay. wonderful little island!

We visited Mirabella Feb 2014 and had a wonderful stay. Sharon was very helpful in so many ways including suggesting alternative lodging for our unexpected extra night. The roosters and the goats visiting the property comical, but if you don't want to wake up to a driveway full of goats there is a gate at the bottom! There is not a video library in the home nor is there are a rental store on island, so if you enjoy entertainment while at the house I suggest you bring your own. Would definitely stay here again if visiting VG.

great location, great value

Stayed here with my wife for 5 days. House would also work well if we brought our kids. Tons of room at a great price. Beds are firm and comfortable - not saggy or lumpy. Plenty of towels, beach chairs etc.. They have i-pod docs on the alarm clocks and cable TV. Nice kitchen area, generously sized bathrooms and ceiling fans in every room. The location is great. The house is on a hill and provides lovely sunrise and sunset views. Also views of Yacht Harbor and Virgin Gorda peak. The house also gets excellent ventilation as there is a constant breeze coming east accross the hill. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck every morning. We rented a car and found the house very convenient. 3 minutes to downtown... 5 minutes to the baths / spring bay... 15 minutes from Gun Creek ferry (Bitter End & Biras Creek). Sharon is very accommodating and easy to deal with. Excellent experience overall.

Perfect for the family

We stayed in this home with our two children in April of 2010. We have been to the island several times and have stayed in several different homes. This home was very nice for the price and had everything we needed. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with. She made sure that we were taken care of. We also used the Island babysitting service which was excellent and they had no issues finding the home and entertaining the children. If your looking for a nice affordable house, this is a good choice.
