Robyn was a wonderful guest from start to finish and left our home very clean . We will look forward to hosting her and her family again .

I have made a decision not to respond to reviews unless there are inconsistencies or misrepresentations in the review itself. I am responding to this review because the guest claimed to be “surprised” that there were no linens provided. We advertise on VRBO, a major competitor of theirs and our own website. We make it unambiguous and clear - Certain services are additional. We also request that all guests sign an e-contract as a condition of rental. On the cover page of this agreement. we highlight in yellow the most overlooked items in our agreement. The following line is copied from this guest’s signed contract: “Sheets and towels are NOT provided. This is an additional service and must be ordered prior to occupancy.” Most of our guest prefer to bring their own sheets so we do not provide them unless requested. If we do provide the linens there is a reasonable charge. I think that is also important to mention that this guest also reported us to VRBO, making false claims to get a refund. I responded, providing documents and copies of extremely amicable texts that we exchanged prior to, upon and after arrival, that confirmed that the claim being made against me was inaccurate. VRBO dismissed it within an hour of receiving the documents. This guest stayed with us over the Columbus Day Long Weekend. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. It was a miserable, miserable weekend, heavy rain and very cold. I think there may have been sleet. The guest informed me on Saturday that she had become ill and wanted her money returned. I asked her the nature of her illness to determine if she needed urgent care. She said care was not necessary but I gave her the numbers just incase. She left on Sunday night, about 12 hours early.
