Great communication with owners, and very clean home. All the stocked items you could ever need. The stairs have been redone since our last stay and it is definitely an enhancement. We loved our trip!

Beautiful Lake house

The home was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and every room was spacious. We enjoyed our short stay and the kids really enjoyed fishing. Would recommend this place to everyone!

We had a great experience at the Dock Holiday property on Lake Hiawassee. The property was very clean and everything was as described in the listing. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens and well stocked kitchen. Nice view of the lake from the deck and the lake itself is absolutely gorgeous. We went up for a weekend fishing trip. The kayaks and canoe were all well kept and we made use them. We caught a few fish, not as many as we would have liked but we canā€™t blame that on the hosts. The walk down to the water is a lot of steps but it is well maintained and not too step. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property

Beautiful location, house was everything we needed very well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchenware. we had 7 adults and 4 children from 8mo to 8yrs and the house was perfect for all. We will definitely be back!!

Long weekend family getaway

What a wonderful stay at Jessica's lake house. The house was clean and had almost everything we needed. The lake view was beautiful and just a short walk down the back stairs outside. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us. Just be sure to bring any groceries/food you need as the nearest grocery store is more than 30 min away.

Family Reunion

We rented this house with another for our family reunion and it was perfect. The lake is gorgeous and the house was very comfortable. We rented a boat and spent all day on the lake. Our entire family agreed it was the best reunion spot yet.

Well stocked lake house

This lakefront house is well stocked and was the perfect getaway for our family of 5. Ample room for all to spread out. We enjoyed all of the water toys at the dock. Could easily accommodate two families.

Wonderful lake location with easy access to town or marina

Loved the balcony views! The grill was effortless and clean. We used the house as a base for exploring the area, so we were mostly out sightseeing during the day. We were amazed at the lack of mosquitos on the open deck--not one!

Outstanding property!

I rent on VRBO regular and own two rental properties myself. This home is VERY well kept. Owners must have used an interior decorator - it is that nice! Highly recommend!

Hiawassee Heaven!

This property made our family get together an unforgettable experience that our children and grandkids will always remember! We felt right at home, and the property was complete in every way! Perfect Lake house

This was our 2nd stay in Bear Paw, but our 1st in the Dock Holiday home. It was amazing being right on the water, where we spent most of our time fishing and jumping off the dock. Make sure you have EVERYTHING before you head down to the water, because walking up the stairs was rough haha. The hosts were great with communication!! Plenty of space for the 6 adults and 3 kids. Sitting on the deck watching boats go by while grilling was amazing & relaxing. We rented a boat from the marina, went gem mining, visited Field of the Woods, & fished a lot at the Hiwassee damn. We will be returning to this beautiful Lakehouse!!

Loved the house and location

Overall this is a great place I give it a 9.5 out of 10 only thing itā€™s missing is a hot tub house and lake are beautiful I donā€™t suggest someone who has trouble walking going to the deck itā€™s a hike lol but we loved the house the walk to the lake was a reminder that we arenā€™t 20 anymore since we are all late 30s into early 40s with teenage kids but everyone had a great time!

What a beautiful home with gorgeous lake views!

We had such a wonderful time here! 9 family members from Asheville, NC and Florida. Plenty of room for all of us and room to spare. Breathtaking lake views from almost every room. The dock is just steps away and stocked with kayaks, canoe and paddle-boat, and we enjoyed boating and swimming off the dock. The marina is very close, and we rented a pontoon boat one day and had fun tubing and exploring the beautiful lake. House is thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities, and we enjoyed playing the various board games there on a rainy afternoon. Beautifully decorated, it truly felt like home for our stay there. The absolute only negative about our stay was the phone reception and Wifi could be a little spotty at times, but it gave our kids a chance to disconnect from their devices from time to time. We truly enjoyed our stay here, and look forward to coming back to this magical place! Thank you!
