Welcome to your Kauai home away from home! Prince Kuhio is the perfect location to enjoy the sunny south side of Kauai! We are next to the Prince Kuhio Memorial Park with open views from the lanai across the park to the ocean with the sound of waves soothing you on the lanai and in the bedroom at night and for watching the sun rise in the morning.

Relaxation and fun come together with your stay in Prince Kuhio #112. This is a one-bedroom ground floor unit just steps away from the tropical gardens, pool and ocean. The fully equipped kitchen has been updated with granite counters and there is a barbeque service area in the gardens. There is tropical style furniture in the Living Room. The bedroom has a king size bed, teak furnishings and is very light and airy. Sliding glass doors onto the lanai with views of Prince Kuhio Park and the ocean are brightest in the morning. The Jalousie windows and ceiling fans provide a cooling air current throughout the unit and newly installed air conditioning provides additional comfort on the hottest days. Laundry is shared in machines just steps away.

The acclaimed Beach House Restaurant is across the street with upscale shopping and several other restaurant options nearby in the Kukuiā€™ula shopping center. Surfing and a safe and spectacular swimming and snorkeling reef is just off the grassy lawn entrance to the Beach House. Turtles can often be seen here as well as myriads of brightly colored fish. Snorkel equipment is available in the condo with additional rentals available right in the Beach House. This is also the best spot on Kauai for viewing the sunset from your seat along the seawall. Golfing, National Botanical Gardens, the Spouting Horn and famous Poipu Beach are all close by. Other Kauai ā€˜must-seeā€™ destinations, from the Waimea canyon to the west to the lush greenery of the Hanalei/Princeville area to the north are easy day trips.

There are boogie boards, beach towels and chairs that you are welcome to use. The Kauai Guide book is the other thing you'll need for adventure, dining, and cruising - it's on the coffee table! Come and stay - have your vacation of a lifetime on the Garden Isle!

This was an awesome location. Just a few steps to a nice beach and a short 1/2 mile walk or drive to a great one. Very quite with low traffic. Nice little local market and restaurants within 1 mile. Very convenient! Ocean view from the Lanie great furnishings and recreational equipment will definitely stay at this location when we go back.

Wonderful condo and location

We stayed three nights at end of January. The location was ideal for seeing the sites in the south coast and exploring the towns. We ate two nights at Savage shrimp ā€”easy to walk toā€” and watched the sun go down at the little beach across from the condo. Loved all the extras Paul provides!

Clean, Comfortable, Good Location

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Location was nice, very near the beach, with a view from the lanai, and quiet. First floor location was nice--no stairs. Parking was easy, and plentiful. Nice kitchen with all amenities. We would happily stay there again.

Stayed here for my honeymoon and it was perfect! Great location just a few minutes away from beautiful beaches and restaurants. Host was very fast at communicating, provided easy instructions and offers wonderful suggestions. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. Thank you! Would definitely recommend!

The gardens, pool, and beautiful flowers and plants were such a wonderful setting to enjoy our time here. The place was very nice and we loved all the amenities the owner has. We will definitely come back to this area and weā€™d love to stay at this place again. The first floor of the parking garage was a wonderful place to park our car as the parking off the street was always full. The car stayed cooler by parking in the parking garage. This place was a huge blessing for us and made our time in Kauai great. This is a great location!!

We first visited Kauai over 30 years ago and have been returning to the sunny side of Kauai regularly ever since. For the last several years we have stayed at Prince Kuhio due to its perfect location close to the ocean and services as well as its smaller size and more friendly atmosphere. We were able to purchase our condo in 2018 and are excited to share it with other visitors when we are not 'on island'.

Prince Kuhio is an older property with beautifully mainted tropical gardens that impart a true Polynesian feel. With the Prince Kuhio memorial park bordering the lanai side of the building there is a permanently protected open view of the park and ocean. The pool is beautiful and friendly and a one minute walk takes you to the best sunset watching spot on Kauai.
