Purchased in June of 2018 and has undergone a major renovation to improve our guests visit, including kitchen upgrades, fresh paint, and new furniture. Our commitment to you is that the condo will be clean and ready for your visit to Panama City Beach.

This first floor condo is a 2 bedroom / 2 bath unit (D-105). A spacious condo with fantastic views of the Gulf from the living room & master bedroom; perfect for watching dolphin swim in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Living Room looks out toward our beautiful beaches and includes a large flat screen TV. The balcony overlooks the refreshing emerald waters of the Gulf, beautiful sunrises, and sunsets. There is seating for three at the Breakfast bar and our dining table has seating for six (6). Our condo has a washer-dryer for your convenience.

*** Important Information About AC Operation***
The Dunes of Panama Maintenance Department has asked that owners and guests keep the air conditioner temperature setting between 72°F and 78°F to avoid condensation on the walls and build-up of mold and mildew. Therefore, your thermostat will allow adjustments within this prescribed temperature range.
In addition, the air conditioner system is controlled with shut-off switches on the doors and windows. Should you leave a door/window open for more than a few minutes the AC will turn off. Once the door/window is closed it will take a few minutes for the system to reset. Frequent openings and closures will only delay the reset time until conditions are stabilized. If you are experiencing a rise in the inside temperature, simply make sure all doors/window are closed and wait for the AC to resume normal operation.

The condo was just as pictures. The extra bedroom beds were not very comfortable for our adult guests. Otherwise everything was wonderful!!!!!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. We had a great view of the gulf. Easy access to the beach and pool. The store in building E had good food and were very friendly. The condo was very nice as well.

AC was an issue for us

The complex itself is nice. Easy parking and the elevators were quick. The property management company was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The condo floors were not the cleanest when we arrived. It has everything you would need to cook with. Our biggest issue was the AC. It was locked on 72 but did not keep it cooled to 72. It was 74-76 majority of the time and that is hot when you are use to keeping your house at 68-69.That may not be an issue for some people though. We would not personally stay in this particular unit again due to the AC but would rent again with four star properties and dunes of Panama.

Beautiful Condo

The renovations to the condo were beautiful. Location to the beach and the views were both amazing. Master bedroom is in it’s own little nook and is very private. Four Star was very helpful and responsive to an issue that was beyond their control. We will definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay

We had a great time. The condo was advertised as a master on the gulf and a room with bunkbeds. Upon checking in, there were no bunkbeds...just two single beds. The other two kids just slept on the sleeper sofa. It was a great stay overall and we can't wait to come back!

Great Condo

The condo overall was great and we will stay there again. The only 2 issues we had were that the bed setup for the guest room showed it was bunk bed with a pull out twin. The beds in the guest room are actually 2 fulls. Then the cleaning company left dirty towels in the condo and didnt clean out food or change the sheets on the sofa sleeper.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented many times with many different companies, as you were referred to us by my brother who was staying here during the same time. The location was great, the elevators and parking was great, pools were fabulous. But when we called in we felt like the cleaning was just not finished. First thing I did was step on an orange slice that we beside the chair, gross!! The subpar toiletries were just thrown on the counter. The AC was our biggest issue, 72 is ok but not ok when the ceiling fans don’t seem to circulate that air appropriately. I can’t imagine sleeping in the front room because there was not a ceiling fan. We literally had to go by box fans to make it comfortable enough to sleep. And then it brings to my attention had fabulous the bed slept but those pillows were horrible!! Other wise it was a great and mostly enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back maybe just a different unit.

Really great overall with few issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was among our best! We loved the proximity to restaurants and quality of the food. It's very walkable for restaurant food and we almost never needed to drive anywhere during our stay. The furniture and cleanliness were high quality and many amenities were included. It's right on the sand and a very quick walk to the beach and a nice pool. Stingrays below is a pretty decent restaurant for basic food but make sure it's open when you go! Some things to consider that weren't deal breakers for us, but could be for you:The master bedroom mattress is incredibly firm and my husband's back hurt when we left. He said he loved the place so much that he would still stay there again! To the owner, this was the most firm mattress I've ever slept on and it probably should be swapped out for the comfort of most people. (I personally liked it ok, but most people are not like me). The property management has to contact the owner if you run into any problems, so this added an extra day of the AC not working because it was frozen over. This was probably because the tenant or cleaning service before us turned down the temp. We stayed within the 72-78 requirement parameters but the temp did not drop below 75 until we called and discovered it was frozen. It took them a whole day to reach the owner for permission to have someone come in and although it was a pretty big inconvenience for us on our stay, it wasn't necessarily their fault and they have plans to ensure the unit is fixed for the next person. I would call and make sure of this. They topped it off with coolant and that fixed it temporarily for us. Everything else was amazing and it's the perfect unit. It's close to the pool, so people watching is great. You might not like how close if you really value privacy, but we didn't mind it.

Four star was easy to deal with and renting from them was not complicated at all. The Dunes of Panama is laid back and a great complex of Condos! NO elevator wait at all. It says first floor which it is, but it’s above parking areas so it is still elevated perfectly to see great view of the Gulf from the balcony. Super convenient with kids and taking things to and from the pool. Great restaurants close to the condo, and not far from St. Andrew’s. We went for dinner in St Andrew’s at Uncle Earnies and enjoyed it. 5 stars all the way around!

There was a couple of issues that had occurred with the people before us, and the people at Four Star made sure to let us know the issues and had them fixed the next day. We will definitely stay here again. The condo was very spacious and the views were amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the waves crash, as well as, seeing the pool while our teenagers hung out.

The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. I had a little trouble working the thermostat and reached out to the Rental company. They never followed up, but thankfully I figured it out eventually. Customer service is lacking but the condo was great!

Good seating for dining and living room. ** would like to note that the 2nd bedroom now has 2 beds (full size or queens?) instead of the bunk beds that are shown in the photos July 2023. This is not a negative but was actually a positive surprise for our family. Our family dynamic met the bunk bed “requirements” but honestly the current set up was so much more accommodating and comfortable.NEVER had an issue with the temperature in the condo. Always comfortable. Both bedrooms had the tower fans which we used at bedtime.Comfortable, clean and functional deck furniture. Our entire family of five could sit together in the mornings and evenings.Second: management company, Four Star Condo Services. Very friendly, competent and helpful. Received all information on time. Appreciated the phone calls to make sure I had received emails and if I had any questions. When I inquired about an early check-in, I appreciated the honesty and explanation as to why our unit wasn’t available for that request. (I’m completely aware that I was requesting this on a Friday afternoon before our Saturday check-in. Might have been manageable if I had requested earlier? I don’t know but again the customer service was professional and pleasant. I would like to note again that the condo was top notch on cleanliness. So if it’s the owners or four star cs that chose this crew: please extend my appreciation to them for their hard work. This was a wonderful place to stay! Our family really enjoyed it. Our little girl got sick the last night and had to go to the hospital and they were so accommodating on allowing us another nights stay. We really loved the place!
