Enjoy restful solitude on the Cartecay River right outside the back door. Buffered by the GA wilderness area, The Riverhouse sits on a small rapid with large rocks available to sit and just watch the river go by. The river is a certified GA trout stream and a few rainbows have been caught and grilled! The House also offers easy access to drop off points for tubing down the river right to your backyard. The Riverhouse could best be described as elegant with a mountain flair. Four bedrooms, 4.5 bath house sits right on the Cartecay River with spacious decks on three levels. Jacuzzi, widescreen high def TV, DVD, a complete stereo system, and wireless internet offers plenty of chances to get away and unwind. And it`s only 1.5 hours from downtown Atlanta. The wintertime features gas fireplaces in each master suite, one on the main level, and one in the basement.



The Riverhouse is a beautifully decorated 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath log home that sleeps up to eight (8) people and offers the following:  



Queen Master on UPPER-level private bathtub/shower combo, private balcony, gas fireplace, 26" flat-screen TV 

King bedroom on UPPER-level private bath with tub/shower combo 

King bedroom on MAIN level private bath jetted tub and walk-in shower, 31" flat-screen TV, and gas fireplace (only active October 1st - April 1st)

Queen bedroom on TERRACE level has a private bath with tub/shower combo

Half bathroom on MAIN level 

The living room has a gas fireplace (only active October 1st- April 1st), 40" flat screen TV (Cable) 

Covered porch and connecting the wrap-around deck with riverfront views

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:







Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on the guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop,  internet, telephone for local calls and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide complimentary start-up supplies of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.







Required Fees include $225 Cleaning Fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and a 15% lodging tax
