Spectacular View! Beautiful cliffside house at Caesar's Head

The Burgenest is a family mountain home located in the gated community of Cliff Ridge Colony at Caesar's Head. The House sits on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Jones Gap conservation area, with views of mountains in the near distance (no houses visible). Built to accommodate our large extended family, it is ideal for family gatherings and reunions, yet intimate enough for small groups. Hikers will enjoy easy access to the nearby Mountain Bridge nature trails, and bikers will enjoy the Caesar's Head mountain biking challenge.

The main floor (wheelchair accessible) is a great place for games, movies, reading, conversation or making music. This floor features 2 bedrooms (4 queen beds) and 2.5 baths. Features include an open living area with wood burning fireplace and smart tv with Direct tv access, an atrium featuring a grand piano and breath taking mountain views on three sides of the room. The dining area features seating for 12+. A spacious, well-equipped kitchen features stainless appliances including gas range, dishwasher, 3-door refrigerator, and counter top microwave, ample dinner ware, pots, pans, flat ware, etc.

Also on the main level is a lovely screen porch with lots of seating and open deck featuring a hot tub overlooking mountain vistas.

The second floor features 3 bedrooms(1 queen, 2 doubles, 4 singles-with 2 trundles, 1 crib), 2 baths, and a separate den with gas log fireplace and tv with Direct TV access. TV in singles room with Roku and DVD access.

There is a rec room in the basement, complete with ping pong and seating area.

A ten minute walk brings you to the community recreation area with 2 swimming pools (In season, one heated), private lake (canoeing and fishing), and 2 tennis courts. Dupont State Forest, with its three waterfalls, is a 15 minute drive, and Caesar's Head State Park is less than 5 minutes away (Wi-Fi Available here).

Several golf courses are in the area along with river activities, shopping, restaurants, and cultural events, including the famous Brevard Music Festival and the Flatrock Summer Playhouse. Approximate driving distances: Brevard (25 minutes), Hendersonville (45 minutes), Greenville, SC (45 minutes), and Asheville (1 hour).

With this home, we can make reservation confirmations as outlined below:
For Months of December-February Rental Request, confirmations can be made after September 15th
For Months of March-April Rental Request, confirmations can be made after after September 30th
For Months of June-August Rental Request, confirmations can be made after December 31st
For Months of September-November Rental Request, confirmations can be made after June 15th

Renters do not have access to the gated community or property prior to their reservation dates. Please do not try to enter the community prior to check in date as you will not be granted access and your reservation may then be revoked.

There is a maximum of 4-5 cars allowed to park at the house depending on size. Any overflow parking needs to be at the clubhouse parking lot. Do not park on the street or block neighbor's driveways, as you are at risk for your vehicles to be towed and/or fined by the HOA. Any violations fines will be charged against your deposit ($50 per incident).
