Best location on the lake (Chestatee Area)--escape the heavy boat traffic polluting the south side of the lake, private cove without neighbors on the opposite side (there are only two coves on the whole lake without adjacent neighbors), safe swimming for children in a no-wake zone, the north side of the lake shallows and narrows so you don't get to enjoy large open waters for boating activities, there isn't enough stores/ infrastructure on the north side of the lake. This lake house is 15 minutes from North Georgia Premium Outlets where you can find incredible deals (Gucci, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Tory Burch, Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Merrell, Vans, Williams-Sonoma, Orvis, BR, Soma, Lucky, American Eagle, Nike, Polo, Aerie, Adidas, 7 for all Mankind, Armani Burberry, Coach, Chico's, Caribou Coffee, Crocs, Gap, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade) just to name a few. Restoration Hardware Outlet Store is down the street next to Home Goods.
The private dock is ALL yours! Pull your boat right into this party dock, which has cleats on all three sides to accompany multiple watercraft. This lake house is perfect for hosting multi-generational families. The gentle trail down to the dock is the top reason returning families book our home year after year, as most homes on Lake Lanier have multiple stairs, steep inclines, and/or long treks to their docks. Large groups appreciate having 3 King Beds: 2 Primary Ensuites (1 on the Main Level and 1 Upstairs), another King bedroom (upstairs), 1 Queen bedroom (Upstairs), and one huge bedroom with 3 bunk beds (twin over full) in the basement. We also have a twin futon (mattress can be easily moved to add to any of the large bedrooms) in a nook between the second stairway between the upstairs Primary Ensuite and the middle bedroom (king). The open-concept kitchen/living space on the main level has all-new kitchen appliances, making cooking a joy! The kitchen is fully equipped (details below). We also have a second refrigerator and freezer in the basement closet for overflow food and beverages. Relax on the front porch or on the backyard large screened-in porch or deck w/ large outdoor table overlooking the forest and lake. The third (covered) deck off of the ping pong room's double french doors houses a new Weber propane grill. We provide propane, but please tell us if it running low at the end of your stay. The backyard is fully fenced, so you can keep dogs/small children safe. The musicians in the family will appreciate having a piano and guitar available to jam during downtime. We have a second refrigerator in the basement to help accommodate large groups.

Downstairs you will find an extra refrigerator/freezer, pool table, foosball table, entertainment center, game/card table, and access to the fenced backyard, large hot tub, and fire pit. Easy walk down to the completely renovated two-story dock. Take out the three Kayaks, and SUP Board, and/or swim with the inflatables (Body Glove Floating Pad--all water toys are available for a charge of $200 paid via PayPal and signed water safety agreement-- (these can be included at no charge--just ask how) or have a nap in the hammock in our quiet, wake-free, deep water cove. We are one of only two coves on the lake without docks across from our side of the cove which makes it feel like you have the whole cove to yourself. The wake-free zoning also keeps children playing around the dock safe in the water. Plenty of cleats on both sides of the dock for you to tie off your boats and water toys - rentals are also available nearby. Conveniently located near Little Hall boat ramp - less than a 10-minute drive to drop in and only 5 minutes back by boat. Port Royale is a great place to rent boats, which is only a 15-minute drive and 25 minutes by boat. The home is conveniently located just an hour north of Atlanta off of GA 400 - 10 minutes from the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall in Dawsonville. Double driveways allow plenty of parking to accommodate your large group or family reunion. We don't allow parking on the street, so all cars will need to park in the driveways. Three cars park without any cars blocking them from behind. Although there is room for six cars, we try to encourage only 3-4.
Please note--our house is a higher-end rental--from the furnishing to the linens and amenities. If you are looking for a party house to get rowdy or sloppy, our house is NOT the right fit for you. We expect our guests to treat our house respectfully! We require a refundable security deposit of $650-$700 (depending on group size and pets) to ensure our house remains clean and beautiful for your group and future guests.

Many nearby North Georgia recreational opportunities include golf, whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, skeet shooting, Atlanta Motorsports Park, Go-kart racing, & horseback riding. Enjoy a multitude of autumn festivals and explore the quaint, historic charm of cities like Dahlonega, Helen, Dawsonville, and many more. Lake Lanier Magical Lights and sledding with man-made snow usually run from Nov. 17- Jan. 3rd.

Free high-speed (strong signal) Xfinity WiFi internet, cable TV, and Xfinity 24/7 Security System with exterior cameras that we can arm and disarm at any time a guest requests.

We require a copy of a driver's license, state ID, or passport before we grant access to our property (with ID numbers blocked out for your protection). Failure to provide a valid ID will result in forfeiture of rental fees in accordance with VRBO's booking time requirements. Please send a copy of your ID at the time of booking.

We take cleaning measures seriously. We clean ALL linens in Tide with bleach and wash and dry them on high heat. Our washing machine and dishwasher both have steam cleaning features that sanitize items at 212 degrees. Our cleaning crew uses Clorox Disinfectant Wipes on high-traffic surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, faucets, etc. The house also has two 5-inch Hepa filters in HVAC that are changed every 4-5 months.
