Welcome to Blue Jay Ridge! The mountain views from the home have year round long and short range views and will make you never want to leave. Should you decide to leave for some adventure the home is located just 5 miles from downtown Blue Ridge and 13 miles North of Ellijay. With activities like horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, river tubing, whitewater rafting, trout fishing, ziplining, boating on Lake Blue Ridge, shopping/dining, Swan Drive-In movie theater, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Breweries/Wineries, there is something for everyone!

This newer craftsman style home didn't cut any corners and is furnished and decorated to match with a modern farmhouse look! The home has modern kitchen appliances, 4 flat screen televisions with Roku to allow you to easily connect to your favorite streaming service, outdoor gas grill, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit area, outdoor movie screen, corn hole, and much more!

Main Floor: Primary Bedroom with queen/master bath, kitchen, laundry, dining room, family room with gas log fireplace, 1/2 bath, and outdoor deck with seating/dining, front porch with seating.
Loft: Bunk Room, TV/Gaming/Sitting Area, and full bath with soaking tub and double sinks.
Basement: Rec Room with TV, full bathroom, bedroom with queen, and lower level deck with porch swing.

During your stay you will be provided with 10 trash bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 5 dishwasher tabs, 1 small bottle of liquid dish soap, 1 dish sponge, coffee filters, 1 small bottle of laundry soap, 1 small box of dryer sheets, 1 travel size shampoo and conditioner per bathroom, 1 travel size bar of soap per bathroom, hand soap in each bathroom, 2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 box of facial tissue per bathroom.

All bed linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is heavily stocked with utensils, pots and pans, blender, toaster, 12 cup coffee maker, slow cooker, electric frying pan, hand mixer, grilling tools, cutlery, dishes, mixing bowls, glasses, and more!

We wish to maintain the quality and integrity of the cabin by offering a pet-free, tobacco-free, and smoke-free environment. Please honor these rules and help us to maintain our home for many years to come. We take great pride in making our home welcoming to all our guests.

Paradise calls

There are no words to describe this cabin. Beautiful views, crazy clean, and EVERYTHING you can imagine needing..it's there. My girls loved the bunk room. The whole top floor was like their own apartment. Beds, tv, couch, bathroom. It was awesome. The owner Melissa, was easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. She was so friendly i felt like I knew her. You will not regret booking this place. Close to all the touristy things too! It was perfect for our spring break getaway!! .

Best host ever

The weather changed our plans and we were unable to access this lovely home due to icy roads. I can’t say enough good things about how accommodating Melissa was in helping us deal with this issue! She absolutely was concerned for the safety of our group, and kept in prompt communication with us. I wish we had stayed in the cabin, and I am looking for another time to book it! Five plus stars for this host!

Thanksgiving Stay

We loved the cabin and the location. View was great! My kids loved the upstairs bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean.

Second Time Just as Good

Second time staying at the Blue Jay Ridge, second time again a charm. Great spot with a lot going for it. Newer property, clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the activities in Blue Ridge and surrounding areas.

Wonderful Family Trip

We had a great stay! Melissa was very helpful and attentive if I needed anything. The cabin is beautiful and well appointed! Movies by the fire was our favorite evening activity. The location is just far enough out to feel secluded and close enough to be able to get anywhere with 15-30 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Five stars all around!

We had a lovely stay! The hosts were very kind and hospitable, and the cabin was a great little getaway. It was very well appointed for families. We brought along our parents and our 3 kids, and everyone was very happy and comfortable. There are great hang out spaces for kids and adults alike, and we greatly enjoyed the large outdoor deck. The location was a convenient drive to town and the lake. A few of the hills in and out are a bit steep, so I would recommend some caution in rainy or snowy weather.

Beautiful Property a few minor issues

We loved the house! It was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. It was fully stocked, bathrooms were nice and bed was very comfortable. The road to get there was really rough terrain and we had some issue getting up and down the hill near the property. The trashcan is located off the property and the only direction is that its halfway between the road and the property - it took a few times to find it and the code for the garage was incorrect in check out book so we had to take all the trash from the property with us. The lights flickered a lot and the Wifi never worked on our devices.

A Wonderful Stay at Blue Jay Ridge

Our family booked this property for the week of July 4th and it was perfect! Wonderful communication, spacious, very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The views from the property are great and the location is a short drive from everything Blue Ridge has to offer!

Great Getaway

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. My family and I were sad to leave. The cabin is fully loaded with everything you would need to cook and enjoy a stay in and is very close to town if you wish to go out. The View from the top deck of the mountain range are beautiful.

Amazing Spring Break!

First, this cabin was beautiful, even better than the pictures! It is beautifully decorated and so cozy! The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay wonderful! The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathrooms have hairdryers, make up remover towels, air freshener, and so many extra touches- such as speakers in the main room and even the bathrooms. The beds and linens are super comfortable. The cabin felt remote and we enjoyed seeing deer every night returning to the cabin from our adventures. It was very easy to get into town and enjoy Mercier Orchards and the delicious restaurants! Last the owner was great to communicate with. Don't hesitate to book a say here!

Perfect Mountain Getaway with Stunning Views!

Melissa was an incredible host, and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay! She was very responsive and helpful the entire weekend. The listing was very accurate. Check-in was a breeze, as was check-out. The house was beautiful and clean and we immediately felt at home. We cooked all of our meals, and the kitchen is well stocked and everything works. The views are stunning, even during cloudy weather! One day we got some flurries and could see the mountains on the other side of the valley getting dusted with snow. It was magical. The area was quiet and peaceful. We spent most of our time in the main floor living room, it is so cozy and welcoming. The fire pit set up was comfortable and very easy to use. The cabin itself is conveniently located and easy to get to. I didn't get a chance to use the soaking tub - next time!! We will be back!

Best Vacation Ever

We had the most amazing trip. The cabin was flawless. There were so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. We had the best time sitting on the balcony enjoying the amazing view. S’mores at the firepit were a highlight too. The children loved bunk room and hanging in the loft. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

Amazing Cabin

This cabin was great! Well stocked and had so much for everyone (loved the coloring books and markers for the kids). Every appliance worked. We were bummed that the fireplace was not working so we could take pics. It was early in the fall so it was not ready yet. The only complaint we had was the hill in front of the cabin. It was really steep and my full sizes, front wheel drive vehicle had issues getting up it. Out only complaint! We would rent this cabin again but bring a different vehicle.

Can't wait to stay again!

This home was just as it looks in the pictures, but even better in person. Such a beautiful home. The views are amazing and none of us wanted to leave. The hosts were awesome and checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay and super responsive host

The host was super responsive and checked in with us daily. The property was beautiful and very well stocked. Great location to downtown too. The fire pit/movie screen was so much fun at night.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, welcoming and full of activities! Not to mention the amazing outdoor facilities! There were 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children. The accommodations were superb and there was plenty of room for us all. We would 100% recommend this cabin and would stay there again!!

Family Getaway

The trip turned out to be great . The property was amazing. The view was great and the property was super clean . Everything short of food and wood for the firepit was included. We even took hikes in the surrounding area which was pleasant. We encountered different wildlife while traveling through the area. Great stay and would stay again.

Family summer trip

Melissa’s property in Blue Ridge is stunning in every way. Great location very near the sweet town of Blue Ridge, GA but also a short drive to outlying hikes and waterfalls. The perfect place to relax in luxury after a day of family adventures. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Mountain Relaxation

The cabin is very clean beautiful and spacious. Great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain view and time with family. Cabin is only 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and is only 20 minutes from other surrounding towns lots to do for everyone. Everyone in our family from 6 to 92 enjoyed the stay. If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind enjoy nature and family time this is a great place to stay.
