This house was very clean. The main bedroom and bathroom are beautiful. It’s a little weird that there is no door for the master bedroom’s bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom Jack and Jill style. The kitchen is well stock. We were surprised at some of the lesser needed items that were available. It was nice for making Christmas dinner.

We enjoyed our stay over our Christmas break! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the outdoor area was beautiful and had plenty of seating! The only complaint we have would be that there is no door to the bathroom in the master. So if you’re sitting at the dining room table and the bedroom door is left open, you can see the toilet and glass shower. Also, bring your own supply of toilet paper, paper towels and laundry soap.The host was very responsive and answered our questions before our trip right away.We would recommend this home for your stay in Marathon!

Great time

We had a great vacation, we loved the pool and the beds were comfortable, it was so nice and clean and so family oriented! A great place for a family vacation. The rental agents were so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

The house was as advertise. It was a great stay and we'd rent it again. Check-in and check-out easy and well documented by the host. We had two very minor issues at check in, no internet and stove fan would not come on. I do not think either was anybody's fault. The host was VERY responsive and we had both items fixed in under 20 minutes. The house was beautiful both inside and out. It was worth the little bit extra for the pool heat. Marathon is a great launching point to head north to the Everglades and south to Key West, about 90 minuets both directions. Good selection of restaurants in the area, we really enjoyed Frank's Grill. The airport was quite at night. Overall we were very happy with out choice of this house.

Perfect Holiday Get Away!

We stayed with our teenage sons and elderly mother during the holidays and had a great time. Perfectly located for fishing, relaxing, great restaurants. Very clean and plenty of space for our group. The pool, patio, and waterfront were amazing. Would definitely book here again.

Great Vacation!

Our family enjoyed our stay. Lots of time was spent in the pool and visiting Sombrero Beach. My husband and son spent a couple of days fishing. Sitting outside at the end of the day watching the canal was the best!

Awesome Vrbo experience

This was a great place for me, my wife and our four kids (ages 10, 8, 6 and 4). We all absolutely loved the pool and Sombrero Beach was close and a prefect beach experience for our family. Would highly recommend this rental and would love to visit Marathon again!

Great Vacation

This house was perfect for our family of five. We rented a boat which we kept at a marina. The pool was perfect. The house was clean and neat.

Great indoor and outdoor space!

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space was fabulous and the pool was great! Privacy in the bedrooms was a bit of an issue due to the condition of the vertical blinds. We would stay here again!

This was a home away from home. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The whole family loved the house and the pool. It was convenient for all our visits to different Keys. I can't say enough good things about the experience!

New years trip

Nice central location in the Keys. Having your own pool was very nice and definitely needed heat in January. Out door space was perfect. Beds were fine and plenty of towels were provided Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grill was good. We had a great time!

Amazing place!

The outdoor area was the key for us! It was absolutely gorgeous and private. The neighbors were very friendly too. It was very spacious inside and outside. Loved the primary suite was away from other bedrooms. The showers were stunning with great water pressure which is hard to find in the keys. Just an A+++ property. We definitely will consider rebooking.

Awesome week

It was just as the photos. House, pool and outdoor furniture were amazing. Outdoor furniture Amazing! We really enjoyed the location. Inside furniture needed more comfortable chairs. Sofa was fine. Tiled bathrooms were great and beds slept really good. Would highly recommend.

Slice of paradise

You're not gonna be disappointed by this place. I only wish we could've stayed longer. We had only 2 couples, but the accommodations were plenty for 6. Beautifully decorated, updated throughout. If you get a chance, i highly recommend trying Marathon Mermaids Adventures. We took the afternoon sandbar tour & it was the highlight of our trip. Do it early in your visit, because you'll likely want to do it twice. Otherwise, kick back, enjoy the awesome backyard, throw a line in the water, or just relax in the pool. Can't wait to go back. Family vacation

This is the second time staying in Marathon! The house was nice and spacious for our family of 5. We enjoyed the pool during the day. However, the bugs were bad at night, so we weren’t really able to enjoy it on the evening. We rented kayaks and had them delivered. It was nice and peaceful at the house and it’s location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. One of our favorite things was the turtle hospital. This is a MUST do if you come to Marathon!!! We even were able to experience a turtle release at Sombrero Beach…which was not to far from our location. The check in and check out was very quick and the property manager was quick to respond to my questions.

I wanted to take a moment to share feedback regarding our recent stay at your property from November 8th to 15th, 2025. Overall, we enjoyed our time and found the home to be charming. However, there are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.Firstly, I would like to mention that communication with the property owner was not possible, as the property is managed through a realtor. While the property manager was responsive in adjusting the pool temperature, I was surprised to learn that this typically incurs a 200 charge after expressing my concerns.More concerning was my experience regarding pest control. During our stay, we encountered three cockroaches, which was alarming. Additionally, each morning we found small black granules in front of the stove, initially assuming they were coffee grounds. However, upon further reflection, we realized they were likely cockroach feces. This was unsettling, especially since we were walking on them barefoot. I reached out to the property manager for a partial refund but have not received a response since her initial reply stating she would discuss this with the owner. She also indicated that cockroaches are common and dismissed our concerns about the granules.
