Great location, happy house 0.5 mile Nancy’s & Jetty Beach.

1900's Victorian, renovated and newly furnished. House is located on New York Ave, which is the main road between Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The bus goes past the house every twenty minutes during the summer and can be flagged. House is approximately 1,600 square feet. House purchased in 2018 and all furnishings and furniture is new. Kitchen and down stairs bathroom are newly renovated!

First floor includes living room with 50" HDTV, and two large coaches. It is connected to den with sleeper sofa, coffee table, table to play games/puzzles and sitting chair to enjoy a book. Kitchen is eat-in and includes various appliances, including blender, toaster, coffee maker, microwave.

Off the kitchen is a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.

Three upstairs bedrooms: 1) master bedroom with small futon, pack and play or air mattress, queen size bed, dresser and side table and closet 2) queen size bed with side table, dresser and closet and 3) full size bed with twin bunks with small half dresser and closet.

Large bathroom with shower and bath on second floor, which connects to master and has access to the other bedrooms.

Large outdoor front porch w/ dining table/fans, rocking chairs and lounge area; picnic table on grass; grill in rear. Window unit AC's in three bedrooms upstairs, den and Kitchen . Mini-split keeps family room cool. Linens and towels (8 bath and 8 beach) provided.

Outdoor shower newly installed in 2019.

Walking distance to jetty beach (1/2 mile). Four bikes and eight beach chairs and canopy and beach toys.

We absolutely loved this house! Perfect location just outside of Oak Bluffs center. We could walk into town or grab the bus right outside the house. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The property is just as described. Well equipped kitchen, beach towels/chairs and even bikes! We loved sitting on the front porch for morning coffee or evening cocktails. We also loved the space in the house. Lots of room for family gatherings or space to be by oneself. We walked to the village of Oak Bluffs daily to enjoy the harbor and shops. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the vineyard.

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's house! The house is very clean and neat and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. We spent a lot of our time on the amazing porch which has the most comfortable chairs and rockers. It an easy walk or bike ride to beaches and to OB. Emily was a very responsive and lovely host!

Something for everyone

We weren't sure that we would like this location in Oak Bluffs as much as being in Edgartown, but it surpassed all of our expectations. The older kids loved being able to hop on their scooters and head into town for food or exploring. No need for a scooter, though, we easily walked back and forth with my younger daughter to shops, the beach, and Ryan's arcade. Jaws bridge a quick drive, as well. The large porch was an added bonus for our few moments of down time.The house had everything we needed, and the location was awesome. Overall, I'd highly recommend Emily's home.

The house was as described and way more! Everything one could need was already in place. That came in handy as we ended up staying inside much more than anticipated due to a stormy week in Martha's Vineyard. The place was well-located and very comfortable!

Clean & airy

Clean, comfortable house in historical section of Oak Bluffs. Well equipped kitchen. Large selection of beach chairs, bicycles, etc. for use.

This house is fully stocked, it had everything we needed. A short walk to the beach. I absolutely loved the outdoor space, large covered porch.

Great stay in Oaks Bluff

Attended a wedding in Martha Vineyard throughly enjoyed our stay. House was super clean, was in a great location and and had everything we needed to make it a great gathering for my family. Easy check in and out and property manager was very helpful and super responsive. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great and comfortable place to stay in vineyard.

Great stay- convenient AND quiet

My husband, mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Not only was the house exactly as described and as well appointed as the photos demonstrate, it was also well stocked with all the amenities you would need on a fun vacation. It was also very clean which is key for any stay. The location is ideal- a short walk to Circuit Ave- enough so that it is pleasant, but not so far that you feel that you are over exerting yourself. Within a block of the house, we also ran into 3 people we knew- also enjoying the area's proximity to shops and restaurants. The layout of the house is also great; the three of us had ample space for ourselves. We never felt crowded. Whenever we had a question for the hosts they were unfailingly helpful and responded promptly. I would happily return to this house, and highly recommend it to others. Just not during our chosen weeks! :)

We’ve found our new home base!

We (my husband, two young boys, and myself) have stayed in countless houses around MV on our annual trips based on which grandparents and friends have traveled with us. We’ve seen lots of different amenities, lots of inaccurate listings, and had some places we just didn’t prefer for proximity to where we’d ideally like to be. We’ve also had some really great houses, but this one met every single need and then some. The house was incredibly clean and well kept, very well-stocked, and so functional for many MV needs. We know the island well and have a routine, but it’s a fantastic location for families who may not be as familiar. We felt so comfortable here. It had all the things we would look for in a family rental. Also, major plus to have linens and towels, which not every rental does. So grateful for all the details that they thought to add to their home for comfort of families. We are already looking at dates to book for next year!

Great vacation…

Many great things about this property. The location was perfect for us because it was about a 20 min walk to shops so we got some exercise to off balance what we were eating 😂 The rooms were very nicely decorated and suited us as a family with 4 kids just fine. The only downside was that the beds were NOT queen size. They were all fulls and twin (bunk beds)…if I had known that I wouldn’t have rented it at all but we made it work. I ended up sleeping on the floor while my husband slept in the bed 😂 other than that, great place!

67 New York Ave

We recently stayed at 67 New York Ave and were extremely pleased with our visit. As a family we have been coming to Oak Bluffs for years, have stayed all throughout the town and find the harbor area to be our favorite. We were initially concerned about the distance to town as well as walking on NY Ave however neither was a problem, if you don’t want to walk or bike on the main road you can easily go through the neighborhood and arrive at the harbor or the Jetty beach. In addition I must say this was the most well stocked home we have visited in all the years we have come to the Vineyard. The hosts thought of everything to make our visit worry free. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting the island.

We had an excellent experience. We always enjoy coming to visit on the island. This property was clean, comfortable, with a fabulous covered porch to enjoy the day - all within walking distance to town.

Great location and excellent extras included

The house has large living area on first floor and kitchen with seating for 6 easily. Bedrooms all have drawer and closet space. Only strange aspect of layout is the small bathroom on first floor is right in middle of kitchen. The location is great. On a main road, but away from the city center. Walk or bike to grocery and restaurants is possible. House included lots of extras like bikes, sand toys, cooler, chairs, umbrella. This was a pleasant surprise. I would stay there again.

Rest & Relaxation

The house served us well. It was good size for 4 adults. It was walking and biking distance to Oak Bluffs (shopping, restaurants & beach). The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Although we had a car, bus stops are one house over. The house sits back from a busy street but no noise can be heard inside. The xtra living space was great for remote working: This room could be an xtra bedroom and/or a play room for small kids. The neighbors & neighborhood were extremely quiet. Because this house is older there is a full bath off kitchen, with the other bath upstairs. I highly recommend this house.

Relaxing and Lovely

We had a wonderful week at this house. It was clean, spacious and exactly as advertised. The porch was great for hanging out and we really appreciated the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Having all the beach gear and bikes was a super bonus. The walk into Oak Bluffs was short and appreciated by our teens. New York Ave is a little busy but the house is set well back from the street so it’s really not an issue. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Lovely place to stay!

Great experience at this lovely home. It has a massive front porch- three sitting areas-pic doesn’t do the porch justice- I spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch or walking downtown to shop and dine when I wasn’t driving my car, top down, up island. This home is a nice place to relax in the evenings too.

Great for Family Stay

This property was perfect for our family of four. It's within walking distance of Circuit Avenue and the beach. The small room off the between the kitchen and family room was a perfect workspace.

Beautiful, comfortable home

We had such a lovely stay on Martha's Vineyard at this property. The beds were comfortable, the porch was amazing, and there were tons of amenities (ac, tv, games, fully stocked kitchen). We would definitely stay there again.

I have been going to MV since I was a kid. Now I have three kiddos of my own (8, 5, 2) and I love to see the island through their eyes. I am a MA native, having lived three years in Ireland and one year in California, I have made my way home.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

It's such a comfortable house, being a walk to town and walk to Nancy's. We love to come home from the beach, grill in the backyard, and then walk down for a ride on the Flying Horses and an ice cream to cap off the day.

The house is also across from the bus stop, so if you do not want to bring a car, you can still easily explore the island using the transportation services of MV!
