Quaint Italian Style Cottage in Sonoma CA

A two bedroom 1 bath house with an open concept. All just remodeled.

It has an enclosed front yard and back yard so lots of room for relaxing or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. There is plenty of room for lounging and bar b que area and a fire pit.

The house has all the amenities it sleeps six two queen beds and a queen pull out sofa. Large TV, games and books.
We are close to a lot of wineries and a lot of great dining and shopping.

The kitchen is equipped with a coffee bar, tea and snacks. Also if you want something special upon arrival I can arrange that also. (additional charge may apply)

We have a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Bathroom has a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Bedrooms have his and hers bath robes to be used.

House is very comfortable.

Two parking spaces available out front of the gates. Also upon request we have a car that can be rented for your stay. (additional Charge, please ask)

We will also set up a special occasion if you are arriving and want to surprise someone or just want to have what you like in the house. (additional charge may apply)

Cozy and quiet Sonoma stay

Gaylyn's place is exactly as described. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and the place was spotless. Great value for the price - would definitely stay again!

Beautifully-renovated house in Sonoma!

Very lovely house--it was decorated very nicely in a classic Italian wine-country aesthetic. Gaylyn was super responsive to questions and concerns. There was a small issue upon arrival, and she went above and beyond to immediately resolve the issue. Would stay there again!

Cute house but the neighbors smoke pot continuously

The house was great, a cute little cottage with great proximity to the wineries. Lots of snacks and coffee available and Gaylyn was very helpful. Unfortunately the neighbors smoke pot constantly so it smelled like roadkill skunk the whole time, even getting through door and window cracks to seep into the house. It was our one negative but it was definitely a major negative for us.

Lisa, I am very sorry for your experience, I do not live on the property so after your review, I did some investigating and talked with some neighbors and I can assure you that no neighbor is smoking marijuana. I did find out that down the block on our street that someone has a permit to grow plants and it is there business. I guess it is harvest right now as with the vineyards, that is the smell. Again I apologize for any discomfort the smell caused you. Gaylyn

We love this house!

The house is cute, private, and comfortable. The front yard is private with a great picnic table area for working or eating in the afternoon sun. There's a very spacious backyard with plenty of outdoor furniture for hosting or simply lounging. The home itself has all the amenities you could need--it's a very comfortable space that really came to feel like home. Also the wifi is excellent. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 months during COVID and worked remotely, and two people simultaneously on Zoom didn't slow down the internet at all. This cottage would be an excellent home for any length of stay, and we plan to come back again when we can.

Christmas in sonoma

Comfortable house with all the amenities. Having an enclosed front yard worked really well with our dogs. The backyard is beautiful and I hope to return during the warm weather so we can enjoy it. It was close to downtown plaza. It was the perfect location for spending Christmas with our family. We would definitely stay there again.

The perfect getaway house

We had a great time- this property is elegantly decorated and truly feels like a little escape but with the essentials of home. A major added plus was how prepared Gaylyn was for an unexpected power outage. She had lanterns, battery operated candles, etc. We will definitely return!

Adorable place

This cute little place has been completely updated, and is quiet and comfortable. The back yard is well equipped with a dining table, chairs, and a fire pit. The snacks and coffee/tea with all the “fixings”. were pluses. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Loved our stay at this charming Sonoma cottage!

This was our first visit to Sonoma and we couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations. The cottage was extremely clean and Gaylyn thought of everything a traveler might need. A lovely selection of coffee, tea, cocoa, oatmeal, microwave popcorn and little jars of snacks were provided. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bedrooms are cozy, the bathroom is clean with a very nice shower and the living room is just right for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cottage has so many interesting decorations. The back yard is very large with different seating areas including a table for dining, gas grill, couches, rocking chairs and a fire pit table. We thought the cottage was in the perfect location. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute House, great location

This is a cute little house with lots of outdoor space. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need plus extra treats like coffee, creamers, oatmeal, popcorn, snacks, spices, etc. etc. etc. Its in a nice location for going into town or wineries in the valley. Gaylyn is a wonderful host, always prompt to respond and eager to ensure a great stay. Would highly recommend.

Great base camp for Sonoma and Napa adventures

My girlfriends and I immensely enjoyed our BottleRock weekend at Gaylyn's house! We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard with its gas fire pit and outdoor seating. The beds were clean and comfortable, perfect for crashing after a long day at the festival and wineries. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in wine country.

Great place to stay for a wine experience or wedding weekend

My husband and I had our best trip to Sonoma staying at the amazing house. I HomeAway quite often and this was my favorite place thus far. It was clean and relaxing. I loved all the blankets to snuggle up with after the sunset. Thank you Gayle.

Clean, quaint, and cozy home!

We had a great stay in Sonoma. We cooked dinner and breakfast with no troubles. All cooking materials and utensils were available and stocked. They graciously provided snacks, coffee, and even a couple beers in the fridge. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening air. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Great Value

I grew up in Sonoma and so did my mom.
We absolutely love it here and strive to make our guests enjoy their experience in Sonoma.

My mom inherited it and then I inherited it and then it will get passed down to my children. I have so many good memories with family and friends here and I wish for you to make your own great memories here.

With books to read and games to play and lots of areas just to relax and enjoy family and friends and of course have a glass of wine.
