This rental is across the street from one of the nicest beaches on the island. Don't take our word for it check out the pictures of Waimanalo Beach and Bellows Beach.

Kitchen has everything you need and opens up to a dinning table to enjoy your meals or you can take them outside to the patio. There is also a terrace level of grass and open space which is great for kids or taking in the sunrise/sunsets.

House has AC but you won't need it as the tradewind breezes blow in the sounds of the ocean.

Hawaiian get away

We enjoyed our stay at Waimanalo Beach. The beach is the best on the island! Shaded in the afternoon and not crowded. We used the outdoor dining and private lanai as another room. Great location for visiting the whole island!

Best property Iā€™ve stayed on in a VRBO

I have stayed in this neighborhood before in different rental properties and this was by far the nicest place with the most privacy. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, proximity to beach is wonderful. House is great, patio was a wonderful bonus with lots of privacy.

A wonderful cottage!

My husband and I REALLY enjoyed our stay here. We wanted something away from the crowds in Honolulu, but close to places of interest, and this location was perfect. The cottage was cozy, clean, private, and had everything that we needed. This was our first trip to Oahu, and our experience exceeded our expectations! I look forward to staying here again!!

Relaxing Getaway

The property is beautiful, located steps from the beach. It had all the amenities we needed and had an "away from it all" ambiance. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach almost seemed like our own private resort. The drive to Honolulu was and easy 30 minutes. The only downside was a very firm bed and the check in listed three different addresses. Mark answered our call promptly and we sorted things out promptly.

Less than a block from beach

Quiet cottage with lovely, private courtyard. Off street parking and washer & dryer on the property. Perfect for a couple. Stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. Full size refrigerator. The Property Manager and the Property Maintenance gentlemen were easy to contact, kind, and prompt to answer. We would stay here again!

Visiting our son

The property was even better than described. We like to stay away from the crowd and noise of Honolulu. This place was beautiful inside and out. They think of everything you might need during your stay. The upper garden area is so relaxing you could spend all day there, but the beautiful beach is right down the path so you have to go there too! Morning sunrise is a must. I could go on but you need to go experience it yourself. We will be back!!

This property is amazing! Steps to Waimanalo Beach, perfect for a couple wanting a true immersion into Hawaii and local culture. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, the neighbors on the property are so kind and friendly. The rental itself is incredible! Totally secluded, tons of privacy. Truly a dream vacation rental! Waimānalo cottage stay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our favorite beach in Hawaii! The place is a small cottage, perfect for the two of us. It was about 100 yards to the water, and we walked over every morning and every evening to enjoy the waves. There were a couple of boogie boards at the house and we used them all the time. We also used the small grill provided and appreciated the washer and dryer right by. Everything was just very easy. Loved it!

Lovely private property

I needed last minute accommodations to visit a sick relative. The management went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. The house has a private entrance and gated parking. The entry terrace has a zen feel and is a perfect place for coffee or a glass of wine at the umbrellaed table. It is also well equipped with a grill. Behind the unit is everything you need for a day at the beautiful private beach, just down the street. The kitchen is perfect and has all the essentials. Check the cabinets before you shop as some things are already there. The walk in closet is combined with the bathroom and makes unpacking a breeze. The bed is comfy with ample bedding . I stayed by myself but i could see a family staying comfortably as there us also a sleeper sofa. This is a gem of a place

Clean, comfortable and close to the beach

I spent four days and nights at this rental property and have a mixture of reflections. As indicated in the title, the property was clean, comfortable and close to the beach, which are all a definite plus. As a solo traveler, this property was probably too big for my needs and would better suit a group or family. However, it served my needs adequately. Communications with the owner/manager were fine and responses were prompt. A couple of things that could be improved on include the gate operation mechanism, which, given the height of the gate, was difficult to operate from the street side. I also found it difficult to open and close some of the windows. To end on a positive note, the availability of a clothes washer and dryer was ideal and saved me traveling with dirty clothes, and the AC in the bedrooms helped combat the very humid evenings. I'd probably return but with some fellow travelers next time. Mahalo..

We had a little misfortune finding the address but after that, everything was excellent. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, you want to be fare from the crowded beach but close to everything else this is the place to stay. The birds on the tree in front of the cottage are by themselves heaven. Around 7pm, they start their audio show and it is amazing, we loved it. Some suggestions: Too much decoration around windows and tables, we were all the time afraid kids drop something or break a decorative item. It was just too many decorative items. The key in the lockbox does not open or lock anything. The electronic lock was excellent idea. You need a pizza cutter we had to use knifes to cut our pizzas, tried to purchase one from the store but no luck finding one. Washing towel demand is unreal because in the morning of our departure, we needed to shower and use towels, but we washed/dried the beach towel for you. In general, people do not want to wash/dry or do house chores while on vacation.
