Peek A View is a lovely and spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home with a bonus hall bunk area. This great beach house comfortably sleeps 13 guests with 3 queen bedrooms, a hall bunk room with twin bunks, and another bedroom with 1 twin/full bunk with a full trundle.

Peek A View is a newly renovated vacation home located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the gated community of Sunrise Beach. The 3 story home features a ground level rec room perfectly suited for family entertainment with a huge, wall mounted 60" flat screen TV, a game table, and wet bar. The open floor plan and living space on the 2nd floor offers plenty of seating for entertaining or dining together. "Peek-a-boo" views, multi-level porches, courtyard, and spacious pool area complete the outdoor living spaces to be enjoyed at this relaxing vacation getaway.

A quick and leisurely bike ride or walk to the shops of Gulf Place for dining and shopping make this vacation spot a much desired locale. Parents may relax in this worry-free and child friendly gated community at Sunrise Beach, with only 100 yards to the community beach access and the sugar sand and emerald waters of the beaches of South Walton. Once you arrive on the shore, enjoy a seasonal complimentary beach setup of 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas!

*add $50.00 per day to heat the pool (available October - April if needed)

*Beach service MUST be purchased if not provided complimentary in order to utilize the private beach. Tents and canopies are not allowed. Personal chairs are permitted with the purchase of an umbrella rental.

Beautiful getaway on 30A

This is a sweet little gated community close to activities but also slightly removed. The house is nicely accommodating and comfortable. Ocean Reef communicates clearly and are very responsive to any/all needs.

Fun time with tons of friends

We had a great week over the 4th of July in the Peek-A-View house. The beach is so conveniently located, and the pool was just the right size for the 6-14 yr old kids in our group to enjoy some sand-free water time. We brought a few things from home to make things more comfortable, but the house has all of the amenities we needed to cook meals together and have a great week on the beach.

Great home!

This house was just like pictured. It had all the amenities we needed, and it was very clean. The pool was very nice, although it was a little shady. One of the things I would wish for would be an alarm on the pool door since we had little ones with us. It did have locked gates though. Also, a little better locks on the bathroom doors! We had a great time at Peek A View.

Loved our short stay!!!

Loved the location and privacy of this location. Nice remodeling of home. Would have loved to stay longer had it been available. Sadly, booked the rest of the summer. Would love to come back soon. Only recommendation would to add a metal spatula, didn't want to melt plastic one getting pizza off rack and would have helped for cooking breakfast. A wine opener would also be nice. Never stayed at a private home that didn't have one. Other than that, loved it. Thanks so much!

Perfect location.....

We love this location and that is why we decided to stay here. The house is generally in good shape. There are two bunks literally in a closet and I would not recommend using them if you don't have too. The cleaning needs to be improved. We slide a couch back in the basement and there were lots of remnants, i.e. water bottles, wrappers, etc. A toilet was broke and they came to fix but needed to call a plumber which took an extra day or so. Overall, okay and you can't beat the location.

Had a Blast!

We will definitely be coming back! This beautiful home had plenty of space for our crew of 3 families! It was what we where looking for and more and had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and all the cooking necessities to make wonderful dinners each night. Loved the fact that the home is settled in a quiet little gated community. Felt safe to let the kiddo's come and go to the beach. The walkway to the beach was literally around the corner. Great private beach! Very family oriented. No worries about rushing each morning to beat the crowds to set up camp for the day! The "Rivard Team" was a pleasure to work with! They were so helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had and made the booking process a breeze. This is our new place for sure!! Thank you for making our trip a wonderful one!! Renae

Wedded Bliss!

Peek-a-View was the perfect house for us to stay at the week of my daughter's beach wedding! Very roomy, so the 14 of us never felt like we were on top of each other. So close to the beach, we could literally just walk a half block and be on the gorgeous white sand! There were a few issues with the lights in the entire house flickering for extended periods of time, but it was not a significant problem. The only real annoyance was that the doors were extremely difficult to shut and lock and some of the door handles were almost broken due to having to slam them so hard to get them shut and locked. That is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. The house is so pretty that it made an excellent backdrop for the videographer filming my daughter and her bridesmaids getting ready for the beach ceremony! I would definitely stay here again if we return with a large group!!

As first timers, this exceed all our expectations.

We were a group of 8 (3 adults and 5 young teenagers). This house was perfect! We choose this house for 3 reasons: - Close to the beautiful beach. It is about 5 houses down the private street. - Private pool. Some of the kids normally don't like swimming in the ocean so we wanted a pool. The beach and water were so awesome the pool didn't get used as often but it was great to use later in the day. - The lower level. This became the kids hangout area. They played games and music, learned bumper pool and crashed in the lower bedroom. This left the upstairs for the adults to relax in. I was very impressed with the home, the cleanliness, the relaxed location and mostly the beauty of the beach and ocean in this location. It felt almost like being in the Caribbean again. I could surely nit pick a few items but none of impacted the fun the family had on the trip. I would stay at this location again in a heartbeat and I'm already planning on using VRBO for the next trip later this year.

This was my families 17th year at Santa Rosa beach. We always stay in the sunrise community.

We have stayed in 7 or 8 of the houses an like them all. We have had to start getting a bigger one an this one is perfect for us. We already have it booked for next year so that will be the 3rd time in that house.

Second Stay

I want to start by saying we rented this same house two years ago. The space is great for multiple families. It’s in a small gated community with great beach access. One of our negatives was that we got a call a few hours before check in to inform us the owner was there and wanted to stay an extra night!!!! We had booked this last winter so we were a little shocked. The reality company did a great job negotiating with the owner and we were able to get in a little after the 4:00 check in. We were offered an upgrade 25 minutes down the street for one night but that would have meant unpacking an repacking three cars and would have taken a day of our vacation. It all worked out well thanks to the rental company. About the house... The cleaning company did pretty well considering they were rushed. There were quite a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The beds were all uncomfortable and noisy. The house is in a good location and has a lot of charm. If we didn’t have the bad experience about check in we probably would be back. If you have multiple groups, you may enjoy this rental.

My only complaints is the pool was cold cause it’s in the shade an the trees keep it from staying clean . Also the bird that is next door is very annoying.

Great house but needs new beds

The layout of the house was awesome for us. We loved the large kitchen, dining and living room area. The downstairs game/living room was great for the kids to have their own space. Our younger kids loved the pool. The bicycles were a fun addition. The beds (mattresses and frames) need to be replaced in both queen bedrooms (support inadequate, uncomfortable and extremely squeaky). Also the sofa bed on the lower level needs to be replaced (many supports missing at the foot of the bed- don't sit on a corner or you'll fall through). Despite the fact that most of us didn't sleep well, we had a great trip with family and we love the location. If the beds were replaced we would definitely plan to stay at Peak A View again.

Charming beach house in a good location

Stayed at this house for a week with 3 families total. PROS: - The bedrooms were adequate and beds were decent. - The air conditioner was able to keep the house at a comfortable temperature our whole stay. - The location is great with a quick walk to the beach and restraunts/shopping. Also close to a Publix. -Fairly well stocked house with utensils and cups/plates. CON's: - Refrigerator is on its last leg. They have a whole write-up on it and how it cools down, but it was struggling the whole time we were there. - Living room furniture was uncomfortable and light colored. Not ideal for a rental that is synonymous with kids - Thin walls - Sunday to Sunday period. I would much prefer the Sat to Sat period,

We enjoyed our stay at Santa Rosa Beach!!

Peek-a-view was a beautiful home and accommodated our family well. For the price we paid I feel that the beds could definitely use an upgrade. They were very uncomfortable and very squeaky. We did not sleep well at all!! The location is good and we enjoyed everything else.

We had a fantastic week at Peek A View.

There were 11 of us - 6 adults, 5 children. The house was just as described. Kitchen was very well equipped. Pool was definitely a plus. House very spacious. Refrigerator didn’t seem to ever get as cold as we thought it should. Suggest a 2nd refrigerator on lower level. Rug in Master bedroom was a trip hazard with all the corners turning up. Loved the neighborhood but it definitely needs an improved area for trash collection. The cans need to be bigger and a better grade. We. Found the lids broken and some animal had scratched through trash bags, scattering trash. This was very unsightly for such a beautiful area. We had a great week with special memories and would definitely recommend to others!

Plenty of room for our group

Disappointed that after a 10 hour drive our early keycode wouldn't work. Spent 30-35 minutes on steps waiting for someone to respond to us. Pool wasn't clean but someone came next day and took care of it (still lots of staining on sides so never appeared clean) but kids enjoyed it. The place is large and nice. Beds are not very comfortable (squeak when you move) and ceiling fans are VERY noisy. Furnishings are nice and kitchen/living room area was beautiful. Easy access to beach. Huge roaches in basement and washing machine/dryer need some work--took forever to wash and dry clothes. Loved all the porches.

Peek A View Review June 18-25

We had a wonderfull time at Peek A View. The house was really nice for our family. Well decorated and nicely kept. Just like the picutures indicated which was nice, no surprises. The private pool is a nice bonus. We would recommend this house to any family visiting 30A. We will most likely be back again in the near future.

So close to sea and white sand

Great place for our family of ten. Large kitchen/dining/family room. Everyone could do their own thing. Bunk bed nook -- defies description and comment. Be aware, rust on pool chairs and balcony stains shirts! Conversations with the parrot next door was a bonus.

Perfect Home for the Whole Family

Perfect home for three families with kids totaling 14! The rec room was perfect for the kids and teens to hang out while the adults relax on the patio balconies. A couple nights it was even warm enough for us to enjoy the heated pool and barbecue outside. We loved how safe the neighborhood felt and especially how close we were to dining and shopping. The perfect location, wonderful backyard and spacious interior made this our new favorite vacation home.
