Cooking meals for everyone will be a breeze in the fully equipped kitchen, and there is a shared outdoor pool right at this condo community.

What's nearby:
The white sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast are just a short walk across the street. Grab a book and a towel and sink into the sugar sand and relax. There are also plenty of dining choices including The Crab Trap and other eateries just across the street. Silver Sands Outlet Mall is only a short drive from this condo.

We loved our stay! Excellent location. Very clean. I only wish the cleaners would have washed the floors. Walking around barefoot left my feet dirty everyday. That would be my only suggestion.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Destiny Beach Villas-6a The property was well maintained, pool area was nice with outdoor shower to rinse sand off. It’s literally a 1 minute walk across street and your toes are in the sand! Nice view of beach from front balcony and balcony off bedroom overlooks nice lake/pond.

Great home

Everything was really great, the view to the lake was gorgeous. The first night we got there, there was no running hot water. But we called a service number and by the next day it was fixed, other than that it's a great place to stay at, beach was crossing the street, would stay again

Amazing Location

The views from the living room balcony of the gulf front is wonderful. The bedroom has a seperate balcony overlooking a lake is also a pleasent surprise. The location is close to everything you could need.

Would come back!

My husband and I spent a weekend here and it was great! We were impressed by the location, pool and friendly neighbors. There was work being done in the unit below us while we were there and our water was turned off part of our first day, but even with that mishap we would return to the unit in the future.

Great location…nothing else.

First, the location was great being directly across the street from the beach. The lake behind the unit was fun too with feeding turtles. Now the inside of the unit is a different story. First, it appeared as if it had a quick clean at best done. There was hair on the bed sheets, cobwebs in the corners, and different broken plug outlets. After buying products to clean, we wanted to shower. That is when the problems started. The shower in the bedroom only had really cold water, no hot water at all. The extra shower, while also freezing cold had NO water pressure. The water was just dripping out of the shower head. After contacting the customer service number, I was told it would be fixed but there was not an ETA. Not having hot water for showers, especially after being at the beach and pool was going to be an issue. All night we waited to hear when it would be fixed and never did. The next morning I reached out again and was told the “local office” would call me soon. After a nearly 2 hour wait I called the customer service number back and was then told I could be refunded, which we took thankfully. As we were getting back to the unit to get our stuff out for a new hotel, we saw ServPro arrive. Instead of them being there to fix the water heater, we observed them cut out a section of the wall (maybe 4 ft by 4 ft) that was COVERED in black mold. There was also furniture in the unit we could see that was covered with plastic, so knowing that we slept above a unit infested with black mold and it must have been known and not relayed to us is extremely frustrating. Definitely would not recommend this company to anybody.

Fall Break 24

The location and view of this rental is so beautiful. The condo is perfect for a couple to get away. The bedroom is on the backside so it’s very quiet and serene with the view of the lake.

location!

location is great! nice little lake sunset from the back patio and the beach from the front patio. Beach is literally across the street. caution as this street/area is really dark when the sun isn’t up. if you plan to cook or need anything, even coffee filters, prepare to have your own. if you bring everything with you, including beach equipment, this is a great place. AC gets super cold too.

Great view and really quite/nice place

Everything about the property was great only issue being we showed up at 7pm on Sunday and realized we had no parking passes and the lot said they would tow without it so worried our car would get towed we called the Vacasa number asap they said they would get on it to get them to us, 2 days later someone finally showed up at our door knocked and left them under the corner of the welcome mat and ran away so wasn’t very pleased with that

I wish I could give you more than 5 stars for location

This is the third time we have stayed in Destiny Villa condos and 6a has been the best. If there was one thing I would change it would be that the chairs on the balcony were a taller chair. We liked sitting out front and we were eye level to the railing.

Location!

You can’t beat this location! We rented a golf cart also, but it wasn’t needed except for having run riding around. It’s such a short walk to the beach and it’s a great beach location that’s not overcrowded like other spots. It also has two balconies with beautiful views! My kids really enjoyed the pool also!

Property has some maintenance issues. Also refrigerator was rusted and the sheets need to be replaced. Overall, it was a nice stay and the location is perfect.

Nice location right across from the beach

Easy walk to the beach, and our kids enjoyed all the turtles in the back lake. The unit was a decent 3 stars. All of the blinds need replacing. Location is 5 stars.

The Cody is small but sweet.

My experience with renting the property was easy and acceptable. I received updates frequently and was assisted via text on where the property was located.

Location was great but unit needs updating

We enjoyed the unit however we found that the sofa sleeper is close to inoperable and difficult to use. There were no bed linens for the sofa sleeper so we had to purchase a set. We also had an issue with the thermostat on the A/C. It is pre-programmed to default at certain times throughout the day to 74 degrees however this occurred several times throughout the night and made for warm nights. I overrode the ac function but I'm not sure why it did this several times. I think for me was the missing remote in the bedroom. I had sent an email and hadn't heard back until the next day but no response as to how we could use the TV. The issue wasn't so much not having a remote but rather on the last day while we were out, someone entered the unit and left a remote under the TV shelf. We were not notified of anyone dropping anything off and were uneasy the rest of the night. Overall, the unit is close to the beach. The pool was also a delight to use. The kitchen cookware does need to be updated as we were unable to cook a good meal without having food stick.
