Charming Old Florida cottage set in a historic neighborhood that was once an fishing camp established in 1929. the property is conveniently located one mile from the beach and one mile from eclectic downtown Delray. Comfortably furnished, fully equipped and lushly landscaped front, 27 x 10 foot pool, backyard this house is the perfect vacation spot. we strive to make your stay as comfortable, convent and FUN as possible. We are happy to provide 4 BICYCLES, BEACH CHAIRS, UMBRELLA, PROPANE GRILL, OUTSIDE SHOWER, CHARCOAL GRILL, BEACH COOLER, BOARD GAMES AND FULLY FENCED BACKYARD WITH PLENTY OF OUTDOOR FURNITURE TO ENJOY. There is a wonderful screened in front porch to hangout and sip your morning coffee. This little cottage is so charming and one of the few authentic cottages left in Delray. Streamin TV, free wifi , coffee pot and free telephone inside the property. No need to drive around, download the app "Freebee" and they will pick you up and drop you back to the cottage for free.

Great stay in Delray!

We had a great stay in this charming cottage. It is precious, old-school Florida with all the updated amenities! Everything was clean and well-stocked. The property hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful. We would definitely rent here again!

Delray treasure!

Lovely property with spacious back yard. House was spotless with coastal theme and fully stocked. Host was very communicative and helpful. Truly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would highly recommend it as it was a little piece of paradise for sure!

Beautiful old cottage with great curb appeal

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for: old school charm, an eat-in front porch with fan, large fenced in back yard, very quiet (except for new construction on street), great walking trails to the beach, Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove, and a cool yoga studio at end of street. Beautiful royal palms cover the front yard. Owner is very helpful and kind. Had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing 3 weeks.

Fun cottage getaway!

We had a great time staying in this cottage in Delray Beach. Accommodations were neat and clean. Ample counter space in the main bathroom was appreciated. 1 mile walk to the beach. Some construction is going on in the neighborhood but it was quiet while we were there. Wonderful family vacation!!

Great getaway

This bungalow was perfect! Modern cottage style decor. Well appointed with ACs, TV, hair dryer, coffee maker, bicycles etc. Very well located to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Would love to return.

Great cottage in Delray Beach

My family found this cottage to be exactly as advertised—comfortable and charming. It’s located on a quiet street in a neighborhood that is a 20 minute walk to a beach and a short drive from the amenities of Delray Beach. There’s a backyard with plenty of places to sit and a screened porch that’s perfect for coffee in the morning. The hosts were helpful and very responsive via the app.

Didn’t want to leave

Charming little spot in a great location. Just minutes by bike or car to the buzzing Atlantic Ave or to the beach. Host was responsive and helpful at every turn and provided a generous welcome. We will definitely return!

Sweet beach cottage

We really loved staying in this private cottage. The decor felt very homey and relaxing. The location was perfect and convenient, in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, cafes, grocery store and close to downtown. We had everything we needed in the cottage and had a great stay.

Review of Small Two Bedroom House, June 2019

All of the pre-arrival communication was friendly, clear, inviting. The pictures accurately represented the property. Move-in was a breeze. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Very close to the beach. Nice screened porch and backyard with comfy chairs. Plenty of towels, linens. Kitchen had everything we needed – lots of glassware, dinnerware, cooking and serving utensils. The bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board were nice extras. Jen and Peter provided a good binder with helpful local information on places to eat, drink, sightsee, etc. Finally, there was a clear exit checklist. Overall, we had a great stay and plan to stay there again when we next get to south Florida.

Very enjoyable stay!

The cottage had everything we needed! The location was nice and quiet, and a 3 min drive to the beach, where we had no problem finding street parking. The owners, Peter and Jennifer, were so nice and accommodating, they even generously let me stay there another night when my flight was cancelled 2 hours before departure! Would definitely stay there again!!

Charming home away from home

I just stayed at this charming cottage. It's in a great area and has all of the comforts of home. There is a great "Chi" hairdryer provided for all you hair dryer snobs :) Beds super comfortable. Air conditioning could be a tad cooler but that's me. Took a great 2 mile walk and back to the beach each day, super relaxing! If you're looking for a wine opener that works, it's in with the pots and pans. Found it after I bought one. Would love to stay here again in the future, so super cute and clean! Thank you for sharing your house :)

We live in Delray Beach and we purchased this gem of a cottage in 2016. Jennifer an entrepreneur owns a very popular vintage shop called Nest of Delray is the responsible person for decorating the house. I am a CPA with my own practice that is currently licensed in NY, FL and MI.

La Hacienda is a small historic community of cottages established in 1929. Located in the coastal town Delray beach. It is conveniently located to everything and there is a bike/walking path behind the neighborhood that a path leads to intercostal and beach within minutes.
Charming, clean ,comfortable ,convenient and private home. Comfortably decorated and fully equipped to make you feel right at home. We strive to make your stay in our cottage as comfortable , convenient and FUN as possible. We are happy to provide our guests with the use of our ,BEACH CHAIRS,PROPANE GRILL,BEACH UMBRELLA, BEACH COOLERS, and bicycles, Guest book includes all area attractions, information, events and tips to make your stay effortless and relaxing. boating, golf cart, bicycle and paddleboard rentals all within minutes of property. Shortcut to beach and intercoastal for those who love to walk, bike or jog. The driveway accommodates maximum of two vehicles (EV charger) There is a front screened in porch as well as a large backyard with lots of comfortable seating for enjoying our beautiful Florida weather. All are welcome but please take into consideration that is not a babyproof property therefore not suitable for toddlers. We did upgrade to quieter air conditioners since our guests recommended it.

There is a private trail at the back end of the street that leads directly to the intercoastal and to the ocean. Getting around is fast and easy. There is also a local trolley that goes around town. We are convenient to both Ft. Lauderdale airport (35 minutes) and West Palm airport (30 minutes). The train station is about 10 minutes away. You can rent street legal golf carts, scooters and boats nearby, of course bicycling is fast and easy way to get around as well. We strive to make your stay in our cottage as comfortable, convenient and FUN as possible. The cottage ihas a 25x10 foot pool, equipped with PROPANE GRILL, BEACH COOLERS, BEACH CHAIRS. bicycle and paddleboard rentals are all within blocks of property. Shortcut to beach and intercoastal for those who love to walk, bike or jog or fish. The driveway accommodates maximum of two vehicles. The property is lushly landscaped to give you that tropical vibe, there is a front screened in porch that offers a shady place for morning coffee as well as a large fenced in private backyard with lots of comfortable seating for grilling, dining and enjoying our beautiful Florida weather.
