Charming Cape Cod lake front house is perfect for a relaxing vacation, a great girls or guys weekend, a home base for Clemson Football games and all around enjoyment!!

Conveniently located 2 miles to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores on Clemson Boulevard, 15 minutes to Clemson University by car or boat and a 10 minute drive to the cute local shops and restaurants in downtown Anderson.

Also, just 15 minutes from Portman Marina by car, 10 minutes by boat and easy access to I-85, Greenville is a short 25 minute drive. We look forward to having you!

You'll love the private, peaceful neighborhood with plenty of parking available. While at home, follow the paved path from the back deck down to the dock to enjoy deep water views making it easy to tie off your boat or jet skis. From the dock be sure to swim, fish or just sit and take in the view.

This beautifully decorated home offers an inviting, roomy floor plan that easily sleeps 12 with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 1 half bath, ideal for sharing the fun with extended family and friends. The master bedroom and bathroom are located on the main floor. Two additional bedrooms and a full bath are located upstairs and one bedroom and full bath are downstairs.

Start your day with morning coffee or watch the sunset with a glass of wine on the screened porch overlooking the lake. Relax and catch up on your favorite movies, and shows in front of one our big screen, smart TVs. Sleep in late on comfortable beds with super soft sheets and bedding. The spacious back deck with a gas grill and dining set is also perfect for a meal overlooking the lake.

Perfect home for our family for our daughter‘s graduation from Clemson

We had 11 people for our daughter‘s graduation from Clemson. House was spacious and the layout was perfect for our entire family. We loved gathering in the open living room and and on the cozy porch. We will definitely book again for future family occasions. We will bring our fishing equipment and hopefully have more time to hang out on the lake.

Comfortable but not clean

The house had great potential, but the cleanliness was severely lacking. Cobwebs and dead bugs (a few dead roaches, some spiders, and other random bugs) everywhere. The floor definitely didn’t seem to have been swept or vacuumed recently or thoroughly. As we were there for business and not for pleasure, the lake and exterior of the house had no bearing on our stay. The beds were comfortable, but it was questionable if the sheets were clean. At least two of our group found hair in their beds upon arrival. A smoke alarm inside of a locked closet needed a new battery and beeped all night during our first night. The home owner did open the garage remotely on the second day for us to find the smoke alarm, but his suggestion that we “look around and see if there’s a replacement 9-volt battery in the garage” was not something we should’ve been asked to do. One last thing — the lack of doors on the bathroom upstairs made privacy difficult. Those rooms are definitely best shared by family members. Again, as far as comfort goes in simply sleeping in the house at night, it was fine. But we wished a thorough cleaning crew had been at the house before our arrival.

Everything was as described!

We had a great day for a Clemson game weekend, a couple of house maintenance issues were addressed by the owner with no problems. The house had all of the typical amenities you would expect and we would return if we are back in the area for another game weekend. No reservations about staying again!

Great place for the weekene

We loved the lake house. We were in town for a Clemson game. The back porch is where we spent the most of our time. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Stay

We had a disappointing stay. The house is in a nice, quiet area and the layout is nice, but we had concerns about cleanliness. The comforters and shams were visibly dirty and I noticed several blood stains on the pillows when I removed the pillowcases before check-out, per the owner's instructions. Also, there was a large dead cockroach by the bathtub on the main level and we found socks and an e-cigarette under furniture that the cleaning crew missed. It isn't clear from the photos or description that one of the bedrooms is in the basement, and that bedroom was a problem. The bed in the basement had a lot of mouse droppings on it when we arrived and there were piles of mouse droppings in the corners of the bedroom. Also, there were lots of cockroaches, dead and alive, in the basement bedroom. The basement shower does not drain -- the water from morning was still standing there when we got back late evening -- and some of the upstairs sinks drain very slowly. We had a lot of rain the week we stayed and water seeped through the basement floor and formed puddles that soaked my son’s backpack and the school textbooks in it. I mentioned these problems to Jeff and he was responsive, promising to address my concerns and return the cleaning fee, which seems fair since the house was not clean. I have not received that refund, though, so I hope he has addressed the problems.

Great location

We came up for the Clemson football game with family. This is the perfect location and house for the weekend has everything you need. Kitchen was well stocked and back porch was perfect for afternoon gatherings.

South Carolina visit

The house worked out very well for all of us. We were able to find a company that would rent and drop off Kayaks on the property. We had 7 people in all, 4 adults and 3 children 12 and under. There was plenty of space. It was reasonably close to the wedding and other events we attended in the Anderson area.

Amazing Lake House!

Would recommend this Lake house to anyone that is looking for something for multiple families! We stayed here with 2 other families for a fishing tournament at Green pond. So much space on the inside and the screened in porch was awesome. The kids loved swimming at the dock. We was able to back 2 bass boats down the drive and park them right next to house to plug them in. Location is very easy to get to and within 5-10min of any food or shopping you could want!

Beautiful lake home!

Much bigger than it looks on the outside. Bedrooms are spacious and plenty of bathrooms. House had a lot of necessities for cooking, towels and coffee. Bring your own floats and outdoor activities as there are none there to use. The only problem we had is there is one board on the back deck that is coming loose and a few of us tripped on it a couple of times but we started walking around it once we tripped a few times 😂. Lots of steps and semi steep path to the lake but overall fantastic home!
