GrandView #723- Enjoy a romantic escape in a King View room. Snuggle up in front of the fire, enjoy the view on your private balcony. This room features a king bed, comfortable chair, wet bar and lake and river view.



The GrandView on the Lake is one of the most sought-after waterfront condo hotels Chelan has to offer. This Lake Chelan luxury condo is located near all major Chelan vacation attractions and the Historic downtown main street. The ideal location for business travel, weekend and week-long getaways, and event lodging. Walk to dinner, wine tasting, recreation, live music and more! Come Experience the GrandView on the Lake!

Pool is seasonal and weather dependent. We try to have it open early May to early October but dates may vary based on weather.

Upon arrival you will be required to register all guests and cars as well as sign a registration form. If you are under the age of 25 at the time of your reservation, you will also be required to sign a liability form agreeing to our underage policy. Both forms state that any noise complaints, mischievous activity, disrespect of staff and/or other guests or not following property rules will result in immediate eviction with zero refund.

Lake access varies depending on the season, the lake is generally high enough to access starting mid-June and starts to drain around October. There is year-round beach access 200' from the property at the Ranger Station

Beautiful room

Unaware of the two person max occupancy. Needs more bath towels in the unit as it comes with two. Don’t bring a lifted truck as parking is tight and limited parking spots. The room you have to go through the parking garage to get it. Overall the room was amazing.

It was okay

The positive: Close walking distance to downtown. Quiet during the evening. The negative: We only noticed the second day that the parking lot next to our building was littered with screws. We picked up about 8. Let someone know about it and all he said was thanks. The unit is incredibly small and not well utilized. We had two people and two bags and there was no where to put anything, especially in the bathroom. Not even towel hooks to reuse towels. The countertop is small. This unit is meant for a single occupant and someone with no toiletries because you have not place to put them. We went to the front desk to find out where the hot tub was. After leaving our room we find out there are no towels at the pool. The guests already using the pool said they brought the towels from the room. So my husband went back to get ours. But then we needed clean towels for showers so I went back up to the front desk only to find out that is where you are supposed to get pool towels. No one said that when we inquired earlier. And no signage at the pool. Daytime noise from across the lake- someone using a loud speaker for food orders. So about every 2-5 minutes you hear order numbers blasted on the loud speaker. You have to unplug the microwave to use the coffee pot that is strung across with and extension cord. Not sure how that passed fire inspection. Overall: We just personally would not chose to stay here again. The staff on site could care less. We never complained because they just give off a vibe that they are not really wanting to be there and don’t care anyway. Unit is too poorly set up to be comfortable.

Very Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay made me feel like I was completely forgotten about by the staff. Upon arrival I found my TV remote did not function at all. I requested fresh towels and housekeeping did not visit my room once. On the last night of my stay I had to wait outside for 45 minutes because my door lock no longer functioned and the staff could not figure it out or offer me another room to sleep in. I talked to the staff in the morning to only get a half-hearted apology. Would not return to this property or refer any of my friends to stay here either.

very dissatisfied with my stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I made the reservation by phone, different than most hotels in that I got only a conformation on the payment made not the details of the reservation. I arrived early and they gave me early check in at 2 pm. I stored my stuff and when out with some friends. At 4 pm I got an email (did not read it until later) that you were sorry to see me go. Later about 11 pm I returned to the room to sleep, except the key cards were no longer active. Both would not open the door and I kept them separate and away from my phone. So I called the number on the office door only to get a recording. Left a message got no response. After 30 minutes I called other numbers that I had and got no response. About midnight I got a call center person, that took a message. Ten minutes later I got a call from the manager who lived near by, and she came and gave us a new set of key cards. So from 11 to 12:30 I was standing outside waiting. I walked to Campbells which has an all night desk person, and got to use the rest room and got coffee. The next morning I asked the Grand view staff to get a partial credit for the mistake and my being locked out. They said they were new and did not know how to do a credit. I was not even offered a gift card for coffee or a meal, future stay etc. New management or not, it was very poor. You should always have someone on site and have a valid after hours number on the door. After I checked out I got an email, telling me how glad you were that I was staying with you. Totally unacceptable. I will never stay at your location again. I go to lake Chelan a lot and have friends that do as well. We will all be telling everyone who is interested about my experience at the not so Grand - Grand view river view. Windermere vacation rentals a Lake Chelan, is not under good management. The on site staff is very nice and helpful, however.
