GrandView #201 is a beautifully appointed, second floor waterfront condo. Savor a cup of morning coffee or an evening beverage from your private balcony while you take in the spectacular "up lake" views of the pristine water, surrounding mountains and evening sunsets.

The GrandView on the Lake is one of the most sought-after waterfront condo hotels Chelan has to offer. Ā This Lake Chelan luxury condo is located near all major Chelan vacation attractions and the Historic downtown main street. Ā The ideal location for business travel, weekend and week-long getaways, and event lodging. Ā Walk to dinner, wine tasting, recreation, live music and more! Come Experience the GrandView on the Lake!

The pool is seasonal and weather dependent. We try to have it open from early May to early October, but dates may vary based on weather.

Upon arrival you will be required to register all guests and cars as well as sign a registration form. If you are under the age of 25 at the time of your reservation, you will also be required to sign a liability form agreeing to our underage policy. Both forms state that any noise complaints, mischievous activity, disrespect of staff and/or other guests or not following property rules will result in immediate eviction with zero refund.

Lake access varies depending on theĀ  season, the lake is generally high enough to access starting mid-June and starts to drain around October. There is year-round beach access 200' from the property at the Ranger Station.

Great location, would not stay here again

The location and view was perfect. The room was dirty at check-in and the property had trash everywhere.The pool was murky and smelled. It was incredibly crowded and it seemed like a lot of people were just visiting, and not staying at the property.

Great location

This unit is a great location. Walking distance to downtown. Itā€™s on the second floor so a little noisy when the pool is busy. Great view and nice grounds.

Beautiful view

Our stay at the Grandview on lake Chelan was overall great. There was some construction going on at times but not super noisy or bothersome. Our room was left alone and we were able to have plenty of privacy. The view from the balcony was exactly like the pictures in the listing and the room was clean and fit the description. The shower was not the greatest but got the job done. I would recommend this place and hope to visit again!

Great Spot!

Room was conveniently located to the parking lot, pool access and made it easy for a short walk over the bridge to downtown. It looked like the listingā€™s photos and felt newly remodeled. Grandviewā€™s Tiki Bar and the bartender was a great bonus to have available as well! I would only say that the mini fridge area needs more lighting (for when the curtains are closed) and getting a firmer mattress would top off this place well. Thanks for a great stay!

Terrific view & location

The view and pool were perfect. The location was terrific for walking into town and for walking the river walk hiking path. I found the bed to be far too soft for me, it wasn't comfortable.

Cold showers

Have stayed at grandview many times over last 20 years. Always loved it. This time unit is old, worn and dark. Shower was cold both days. Would have been warmer to take a bath in the lake. Bed was very uncomfortable Told desk clerk about cold showers and got a "sorry about that". Will not return.

Great location

We had a great trip overall and would come back and stay here again. The location of the room overlooking the pool area and main deck was very nice. The room also had everything we needed for a short trip for two of us. The two main issues I had was the carpet was in very poor condition. It is in very much need of being replaced. The bed also sank in the middle causing us to slide towards the middle. Everything else was great and we very much enjoyed our stay as a whole.

Great view and AC!

We scheduled this during a heatwave in Chelan, and while the temps got up to 116 outside, the pool and water were nice, the location is very convenient and the AC was the best reprieve from the heat we could ask for.

Oct 2020 Long Weekend

We originally booked for September, but due to wildfire smoke had to reschedule. Much of Chelan was closed down, so the overall trip was somewhat disappointing, but that had nothing to do with the facility. The room was nice and the facility is well located. We look forward to coming back during the Summer.

Only complaint would be dealing with boat parking. When the lake is low there is no moorage at Lakeshore Marina and finding a place to safely park a boat is a challenge.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were really looking forward to a couple days away on the lake. We were expecting a kitchenette, but there isn't one. There was a mini fridge and a micro-wave. The hardest part of the get away was the BED. It was like a rock. The pillows were very cheap, so it was like sleeping on the floor. What I was hoping would be time away to relax, became 2 sleepless nights, and I felt like I needed a vacation after. I recommend bringing your own pillow top mattress, pillow and comforter. Some people enjoy sleeping on the floor. If so, this is your place ;) The view was stunning! Best part. It was very close to the pool, so whatever conversations are happening at the pool....are heard in your room. Just an FYI. I've stayed at GV before, in other rooms and loved it. I won't stay in this room again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location, but for $150/night the property was not a good choice. 1) Due to construction, water was shut off for a few hours -- we understood this was not under your control, but still an inconvenience. A discount or some perk for that inconvenience would have been in order. 2) The hot tub was not available after 8 pm. Again, very inconvenient as we had to adjust our schedule if we wanted to use it. 3) The furniture in the unit was somewhat shabby. For example, the bureau, actually a nice piece, needed refinishing. 4) The fan and heat lamp in the bathroom did not work. 5) The refrigerator and microwave lost power during the night, ruining food within the fridge. 6) While sitting on our balcony one afternoon, maintenance conducted on the closed pool was so loud, you could not be outside. 7) The staff was helpful and friendly, but really could not help us with any of our concerns. 8) Unit was generally clean, but corners/baseboards, etc. were not. In short, while a lovely location, we would probably not return and, in fact, feel some kind of compensation for the lack of services and loss of power/water would be appropriate.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Friendly front desk staff. I have heard there is a newer section of this place. If so, we apparently stayed in the older section, room 201. It was a basic, small motel room. Only one chair to sit on. There is a small fridge and microwave, but no table or chairs to sit and eat at. There is a decent-sized balcony with a metal table and 4 chairs, but late October made eating outside inappropriate. Comfortable, memory-foam king-size bed. A beautiful view of the lake. The small outdoor pool was closed, hot tub was open. Nicely-kept lawn with 4 gas grills. The dock looked like it had been refurbished. Lighting was inadequate; no overhead light, just 3 lamps with CFL bulbs. Exhaust fan and heat lamp in bathroom did not work. Almost no counter space around the small bathroom vanity. Fake fireplace with flame effect and optional heat. Nice big TV and DVD player. The room was reasonably clean, except for the carpet. It was so dirty that I did not want to take off my shoes. There were dirty spots over the entire carpet, It is obvious that there has been no effort to clean them. When we complained to the front desk staff, they said the new management is trying to get a handle on all of those things and the owner of the condo would be contacted.

Room 201 at the Grandview on the Lake

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Grandview on the Lake is my favorite place to stay in Lake Chelan, unfortunately this was one of the worst rooms I have stayed in there. The carpet was terribly stained as was some of the furniture. The bathroom is so tiny that you have to close the door to get in the shower. This was my wedding night so this all came as quite a disappointment. The staff managing the property were very nice though and even let us check out two hours late because there werenā€™t many guests that day. I would recommend the property, but because the rooms are individually owned, you donā€™t know what shape each condo is in.
