Kai Nui is a stylish 2,800 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 3 bath home located within the Lanai Villas section of the beautiful Poipu Kai Resort Community that was just refreshed in 2022! Located perfectly for those looking to walk to the beach or all of the other Poipu Kai amenities. While you cannot see the ocean horizon, you can certainly hear the sounds of the crashing surf in the distance, bringing a peaceful tranquility to the ambiance throughout. This home is the perfect family retreat and perfect for couples and friends vacationing together as it offers some versatile bedding configurations, including one screened in sleeping porch downstairs that allows you to enjoy the sounds and fragrances of our island tropics.

The open aired living room has windows all around creating lots of natural light and allowing for breezes to blow through to help keep things cool. The kitchen is newly remodeled and will make your meal preparations a dream. Built for privacy, the master bedroom is located upstairs and the 2 guest rooms are located on the lower level, each with their own bathrooms. Recently installed Air Conditioning for each bedroom for your enjoyment.

A short walk to the greenbelt path will lead you The Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa and Keoniloa Bay while going in the opposite direction will lead you to Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach Park for some swimming, snorkeling and fun in the sun! 1 Cal King (master), 2 Kings, 1 full and 3 twins. Sleeps up to 10, inquire for details. AC is ONLY in bedrooms.

A beautiful and comfortable home in a great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home had everything out family of 8 needed to completely enjoy our 10 day vacation. The home is beautiful, clean, modern, and well stocked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The lack of AC in the living area did not bother us at all. The cross breeze was enough to cool the space. The home is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with nearby walking paths. Poipu beach is a 15 minute walk, made easier with the wagon provided. The pool and tennis/pickle ball courts are a 10 minute walk through the green belt. So glad we booked this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful house in a great, quiet neighborhood, surrounded by palm trees. Every morning I took a 10 minute walk to Shipwreck beach to watch the sunrise. Every afternoon, the family walked to Poipu beach to swim, snorkel, watch the sea turtles. At night, we swam in the pools and hot tubs that were placed throughout the community (key-fab access only).

Lovely home with one caveat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a lovely home in a fantastic location. The home was exactly as pictured. Lovely upgraded bathrooms and an overall wonderful layout. The only issue and unfortunately it is a big negative is in regards to the lack of air-conditioning in the common area living room and kitchen.. Apparently the tradewinds are typically blowing which allows for a pleasant breeze during the day. Unfortunately while we were there, this was not the case. Despite opening all of the windows and running three floor fans, the living area was frankly unbearable between the hours of 11 AM and 5 PM. Complicating matters is the fact that you are instructed to not have the air-conditioning running in the bedrooms while windows in the common area are open. If you were a family traveling with young children for example, who were taking a nap in the air-conditioned rooms it would be extremely unpleasant to remain in the common areas on a warm day. We visited in October and I can’t imagine what that area would be like in the warmer summer months. Such a shame because it really is a beautiful home. We did contact the property management company and unfortunately there wasn’t much they could do. Highly recommend that the owners look into a portable air conditioning unit for the large space in the event of unseasonably warm weather. For the first four nights of our stay, we avoided being in the home between the hours mentioned above. For this reason alone, we would not return. if you don’t plan on being in the home during the afternoon, then it would not be an issue. The home was well stocked and the property management company was responsive but again unfortunately this is an issue that could not be rectified. We found the shared community pool to be rather small and crowded. We did enjoy the convenient walking paths which led to beaches and the grand Hyatt. We also utilized the tennis club during our stay. Great tennis/Pickleball facility.

Wonderful walking path that leads to two lovely beaches and located in a relaxing and quite neighborhood. Great assortment of beach items and wagon for easy trips to the shore. The house is large and beautifully decorated! Loved the recently remodeled bathrooms and the relaxing porches. Amazing stay - thank you!
