This condo sits on the shores of Maalaea Bay a quarter-mile east of Maalaea Harbor, where you can charter boats or visit the Pacific Whale Foundation and the Maui Ocean Center. You'll catch glimpses of Honu (turtles) that frequent the neighboring rocks, and you'll find a wonderful, undeveloped beach that begins at Haycraft Park (a quarter-mile east) and stretches all the way to Kihei. There are fantastic snorkeling opportunities all along Sugar Beach (voted best walking beach by the Maui Visitor Channel), and the Maui Nui Golf Club is only eight miles southeast.

Spectacular find!

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. Where I do think that some of the decor could be updated along with the listing. This was a perfect location. We walked down to the harbor multiple times and it was maybe 10 min walk. The listing should be updated because where I worried that there was not chairs for the beach, etc. there are lots of extras that are not listed. I went out to the private beach every morning and said hello to the sea turtles. I went out one night and there was 17 on the beach. This unit does not have central air so it is running off a window unit and a unit in the bedroom but they worked great when we needed them.

Honeymoon, relaxing

Amazing stay at this condo! The location was ideal; quiet, centrally located, close to harbor & shops. Nice pool & relaxing hot tub. Loved the ground floor patio. Loved seeing the green sea turtles come up on the beach at night to sleep. Had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

Okay U it.

I worked during the days so most of my review is based upon evening . This is a very well stocked unit. The AC works, noisy, but likely don’t need since the trade winds are fierce and blow night and day. Just open the windows in the back and front and you will blow away. It keeps the unit cool. Nobody mentions that the bedroom is right next to the entire condo transformer so you have to get use to the constant humming noise. It is louder with the windows open. It becomes white noise essentially. The furniture is dated as the unit is but adequate. I give it a three rating given the noise, wind and age of the unit. Although well stocked, crazy that there isn’t a blanket anywhere in the unit. I had to request a blanket at night. The bed only has a duvet cover. Location is okay at the harbor but really nowhere to walk to at night or evening except the Harbor shops mostly closed. The pool is small but has a hot tub.

A perfect place to stay

This property had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The view was beautiful, location ideal for travelling, the turtles on the beach was so fun to watch. We loved eating our meals on the lanai. The gift basket upon arriving was a nice touch. The A/C was welcomed on those hot nights. The beach gear was awesome to have the use of and made our beach experiences really great. The cable tv was great for the evenings to unwind. The pool and hot tub were nice to relax in the evenings. Overall, we loved this place and if we should ever be so lucky to come back we will book here again!

Convenient, quiet location. Beautiful setting, easy beach access, pool and spa were immaculate. Condo was well equipped and very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent view and location

Ground level unit, few steps from the water, wake-up and have breakfast in the patio looking the sunrise. Nearby restaurants and cafes. A block from the pier where you can take a cruise or go deep-sea fishing. Just loved the place.

Things never mentioned.

I think because we stay a man we notice a lot more than other people. The bedroom overhead light did not have a way to turn it on. However, we were able to use the fan as it had a string pole. The air conditioner in the bedroom is very difficult to use and it’s very difficult to open the windows as there is a building right outside the window that has machinery in it, and is very loud when you open the windows. There is a 4 inch piece of foam on the mattress which I didn’t find very comfortable. The house is decorated really cute, but the decorations get in the way of what little storage is available. Most of the storage is for Vacasa and the owner. No storage in the bathroom they have to move the owners decorations to have a place for a toothbrush, etc. Windows mirrors and light fixtures could use a thorough cleaning as well have the sofa in the living room. It stinks the living room in my opinion has way too much furniture. The Internet went out, but a service person was that out almost immediately. When I booked a reservation, I let them know that we’re older and we would need appropriate amounts of coffee filters, toilet paper and paper towels, which they did not supply so when we were out we requested more they refused. The toaster and hairdryer should be replaced . The location of the unit cannot me beat anywhere in my opinion.

Great view

Great view even from first floor. Not much happening in this area but nice beach park to walk to and close to boat tours and a couple restaurants. We stayed there to be walkable to a concert at Da Playground. Unit and grounds were very clean and quiet. Desiree from Vacasa was sincerely helpful and kind during both interactions so really appreciated her

Hope to stay again!

Maalaea Banyans 113 was such a wonderful condo for us as a family of 4. We have two kids under 4 years old and we were able to be comfortable in the one bedroom unit. The view from the patio is breathtaking as we watched the sunrise each morning with my early risers. We loved the lawn that it was connected to so the kids could run around, and the little beach where they could look at the tidepools and sea turtles. We loved the pool and spa access and the entire facility was well maintained by the staff. The unit was equipped with quite literally everything you could imagine you would need. We used the nice beach chairs and umbrellas daily, and there were fun games. We supplied our own pack and play for our 1 year old to sleep in and fit it nicely in the bedroom with the closet door open. We appreciated the nice AC unit in the bedroom and the one installed in the living room. The laundry machines were perfect and we used them daily. The unit was clean and comfortable. We hope to come back again! Thank you!

Wonderful

My only complaint would be a small hiccup with not receiving the key code (I had to call, when they said they’d email it). Other than that it was a smooth process to check in and we’ve stayed in this building before (I would highly recommend this location). Our unit this time was more updated than the last and it was very comfortable. Perfect for a family of 3. The sofa bed was also surprisingly very comfortable!

Le condo est bien situé et bien adapté aux familles. Tout était propre et des jeux et accessoires de plongée sont accessibles. Des livres sur Maui sont également très intéressants. Nous avons eu un très beau sac cadeau à notre arrivée. Vacasa a vraiment plein de belles pensées pour les locataires. Toutefois, la communications n'est pas facile avec eux. Ils ne répondent pas dutout aux courriels. Alors il est essentiel de les appeler, ce qui est difficile à faire lorsque nous venons d'ailleurs dans le monde...

Nice affordable condo with small beach access

The property is dated a little, but clean and is stocked with about everything you might need while vacationing. They had snorkel equipment, games, beach towels, boogie boards, and many other things there to use. The unit does have an A/C in the living room and bedroom which is nice. We were a little disappointed by the size of the beach out front, but it was easy to access. There is a public beach area that could also be used a little past the property line. The grassy area between the porch and beach is a nice area for kids to play or just relax on the lounges and chairs. We made the entire loop around Maui over a few days and this condo is in a nice central location to tour the island. Overall we enjoyed out stay.

2 day haunt from Oahu to Maui

My mom, daughter and I went to Maui for 3 days for some whale watching. The condo and property are wonderful!! Loves the 1st floor walk out intro he covered lanai. Slept with the doors open we could hear the surf. There was a sea turtle sleeping on the beach in the afternoon when we came back from whale watching. Bring binoculars and you can see the whales breaching and flipppimg from the shoreline. Would love to come back and stay here again!

Perfect location, perfect stay!

Everything about this unit was fantastic - it was super clean, had beach towels and chairs for a perfect day at the beach, an amazing view, was nicely decorated, and the pool and hot tub on site were a nice addition. If you have a rental car, this is located in a perfect location to explore West Maui, Road to Hana, Haleakala, and Up Country. The only issue we had was the blinds in the bedroom were a little wonky - I would recommend they be replaced (but in no way did they affect our stay). Mahalo for a wonderful few days in Maui!

Nice Condo experience

The Condo was as shown in the listing. Clean and very organized on the interior. We liked Ma'alea as a good center/launch point for all of the things we wanted to do on the island.
