Our 2nd stay at this location. Good hosts, very responsive. Mango coconut bread was fantastic. The view is priceless for sunrises and checking out local goats chickens etc walking around down the hill below the property.

On a hill overlooking Coral Bay, this property is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all of the beauty that surrounds it. The accommodations are comfortable and very well thought out. The porch is wonderful for gazing at the boats in the harbor and the islands on the distant horizon. Our hosts, Jack and Julie, were gracious,kind and so knowledgeable. Upon meeting them you instantly knew how much they love St John. We rented a jeep on-site from Jack. Julie is a fabulous chef. Her grouper almondine was on of the best meals we have ever had. We will definitely return to this property in the future!

The hosts (Julie and Jack) are exceptionally well organized — pre-arrival Information, booking taxis to and from the ferry, and when needed, and suggestions for beaches and hikes. They offer menu options (Julie is a professional chef) if you wish to eat in, and the Jeep rental option is so convenient and a good value. The property is a great location in Coral Bay — beautiful views, overlooks the harbor, and close to restaurants. We are already booked for next year.

Fun Stay

Travelled with our best friends and had an excellent/relaxing visit. We absolutely loved St. John and visiting this national park. Would love to visit here again!

Great place to stay

Knowledgeable, friendly hosts close to Coral Bay locations (restaurants, groceries). Renting the Jeep was an added plus. Julie’s room service meal was fabulous!

We had a great stay at Jack and Julie’s property in Coral Bay! Jack was very helpful and informative and Julie’s information packages and binders were a big help for us. Julie’s mango coconut bread was delicious and we would have ordered another loaf if we stayed longer! Coral Bay was the perfect place to stay as it is very calm, unlike Cruz Bay which is much busier, but that’s just our own preference. At night the restaurants down the hill such as Johnny Lime play music and it’s perfect for watching the sunset with live music. The balcony truly has the best views as you wake up to the sun and the ocean in front of you. The place actually is larger compared to the photos, as the roof is very tall. Furthermore, the house was well equipped and provided all the necessities to cook, clean, store luggage and clothes, and shower. Our first trip to St John couldn’t have been better, and we would definitely book this property next time we visit!

Communication was poor. Host confused my reservation with others multiple times. Host said emails and phone calls were made which were niot. Proprrty was full of old broken down jeeps snd trash was not taken care of. Furniture is stcky snd covered it with towels. Woken up at 7:30 by host outside my window talking and laughing. Not fun.Host was rude and overbearing.

As a Super Host, I normally do not respond to such an unbelievable review. First to clarify: This review was written by 2 different people: Kristin the booker who did not visit, and her son Anthony who did. We don not know why Kristin decided not to come, but she was clearly not all there. She provided me with her son's contact information, and I was in constant contact with him and have the email threads to prove it. She just kept emailing me that I was NOT in contact with ANTHONY even though I cut and pasted all of my emails into the VRBO thread for her to review. On the day of his arrival, I even emailed the text both to him and from him to calm her down. She texted that she was glad we were in touch and she was finally going to get home due to the TSA delays. Where she was I do not know, but clearly she was not in touch with her son and decided to take it out on us. Now Anthony: He and his significant other arrived at the property and were shown to their private parking space and were greeted and walked in. They seemed very happy according to Jack. I did not greet them as I was in bed with a concussion from a trail fall. However, I have never known Jack to be rude, surly or overbearing to any treasured guest as is evidenced by our 100's of 5 star reviews. As for laughing and talking loudly outside their windows - just NOT TRUE!!!! We would never do such a thing at 7:30 am or pm. As regards the furniture. There is NO furniture that is sticky or covered with towels. As regards the trash: Anthony put 3 HUGE bags out on the walkway, and as soon as I saw them, I removed them and took them to the dumpster. If he had wanted me to remove them immediately, all he had to do was text me. We wish them all the best. Julie and Jack - Super Hosts!!!

10/10 would recommend staying at this property with Jack and Julie. They have thought of everything you need to have an awesome vacation! The location of the house was perfect for us. The views from the porch are incredible. You are walking distance to multiple restaurants in Coral Bay, and 15-20 minutes from (what felt like to us) anywhere else on the island. Having the option to rent a Jeep from them and order food from Julie made for a stress free vacation!

Perfect location, wonderful property, and great service

The sunrise is amazing from the porch! Jack and Julie know the island well and provide wonderful suggestions on how to spend your time. The living room and kitchen have everything we needed to make our stay cozy and comfortable. It was so nice to have chairs, coolers, beach bags and snorkel equipment. We can't wait for our next stay!

Wonderful two bedroom in Coral Bay, St John VI

This is our third year staying at this property in Coral Bay, St. John, Virgin Islands. The hosts (Julie & Jack) are terrific — very organized and responsive, and very welcoming. We especially love the veranda and watching the sunrise over the bay. The jeep rental option at the property is a big advantage.

The perfect location

Julie and Jack were fantastic. They were great hosts, willing to share all the great little places on the island to hit up. The property had an amazing view of the bay, was close to restaurants, and was a short drive to phenomenal beaches and hikes. We will definitely be staying here again for our next visit.

The place to stay in Coral Bay

We loved this spacious unit and its location on the island’s quieter side, close to less crowded beaches. Our hosts went above and beyond to provide everything we needed and more: beach and snorkel equipment, detailed descriptions of and directions to their favorite places, optional meals by host Julie, a professional chef, and more. They even arranged a taxi to and from the ferry. HIGHLY recommend!

Awesome Place to Stay on St John!

We had a great visit at St John thanks to Julie and Jack. Their home is in a great location for hiking and snorkeling on the island. The view from the porch is amazing. You have to try some of Julie's home cooked meals - they are so good! Everything was so clean and nice. We can't wait to return!

Amazing Find!

Julie & Jack are amazing hosts! We were fortunate to find a 4 night opening in their full calendar when we planned a last minute trip to USVI. As first timers to the island we were grateful for their advice and provisions-they provide everything you need to take advantage of the islands beaches and trails! We only wish we could have stayed longer

We immensely enjoyed our stay at Jack and Julie’s beautiful Coral Bay hideaway. It’s perfectly located in the heart of Coral harbor area. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, be sure to order room service. Julie is an amazing chef. Our favorite meal of the trip was her Caribbean lobster spaghettini!

Fantastic

We loved our stay at Jack and Julie’s place. They were so nice and we enjoyed meeting them and staying at their lovely property. We rented a jeep from them and it was so convenient and nice to have that service. The snorkel and beach gear was also a huge bonus. The view from the enormous deck was amazing. We loved the coral Bay Area. We will definitely stay with them again in the future.

Lovely property

Jack and Julie were very accommodating and helpful. Everything was as expected from the listing. Jack provided a lot of insight into driving and parking on the island and places to go. If I had occasion to visit St John again I would gladly stay here again.

Great property

We had a great stay! It is equipped with everything needed to enjoy all the beautiful beaches! From beach towels and chairs to coolers and ice packs. We took advantage of renting the jeep and had a great time going all over the island! Being picked up and dropped back off at the ferry dock made the process so much easier. Thanks for a great vacation

Cruz Bay dreaming

Ideal rental for enjoying the wonders of St. John, especially the beaches, sites and restaurants on the Cruz Bay side of the island. Easy drive to the north shore beaches as well. This was a return visit for us. Everything was as expected. Great deck for relaxing, eating and watching the Cruz Bay scene. Julie's dinners and Jack's island knowledge topped off a wonderful stay.
