The best view in Pisgah Forest awaits you in this stylish 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in the Pisgah Forest, NC area. Wake up to big mountain views from almost every room in the house. Just 8 minutes from downtown Brevard, NC the location is excellent for your vacation. This private home is on two levels with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The main level has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen w/ breakfast bar, living room w/ fireplace, big wraparound deck, and formal dining area. The lower level is a walk out basement and has two bedrooms, den w/ TV and outdoor patio area with firepit. The two downstairs bedrooms share a unique bathroom - each bedroom with a private sink and toilet, with a shared shower between the two. There are plenty of chairs and tables for the main deck so you can enjoy the view. on the side of the wraparound deck, you will find a propane grill. Quality furniture and furnishings, linens, puffy mattresses and more are what you can expect in the Journey House. The owners carefully curated this vacation home to be a place to create memories and return to again and again. See for your self why the Journey House should be on your bucket list when you visit the Brevard, NC area. Carport to park two cars in.

The Host
As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone. Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions. The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Great view and comfortable layout

We were in town for a family funeral and our party consisted of 7 family members from 3 generations. The view was spectacular boasting beautiful mountain views by day and just as beautiful night time views overlooking the city lights in the distance. The stars were amazing. We also enjoyed the layout of the home. There are several gathering spaces, but the layout offers privacy as well. The walk-in, no steps entrance and walk-in showers were a plus for our older family members. Loved the fire pit.

Great view from the patio! Many beautiful hikes and waterfalls within 25 minutes of the house while also being very close enough to Brevard to have UberEats options if ya get too worn out to go back out to pickup dinner

Wonderful stay at Journey House!

Went for a girls trip to Brevard and some hiking. We all loved this house! The view from the deck was amazing and so peaceful. Comfortable rocking chairs too. The house had everything we needed! All the cabinets were labeled! There were throw blankets, hooks on walls and even a white noise machine in every room. It ‘s a short drive to town and waterfall hikes. I will definitely stay there again!

Perfect for our gathering!

This beautiful home has a gorgeous view from expansive deck! The kitchen was very well stocked with quality appliances and cookware. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the downstairs room was great for out tweens!

We loved Journey house! First the view from the deck was awesome! There are comfortable rocking chairs on the deck to enjoy the view. The house is close to town. It was well stocked. The cabinets are labeled! The owners went above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need! There were even white noise machines in every bedroom, throw blankets, Convenient hooks on walls, and much more! I will stay here again in the future!

Great location and house

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything is close and the view was perfect. Seeing a bear, raccoon and fox from the deck was amazing! All were just passing through and didn’t hang around to bother us.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. We only left to ride in the mount and shop a while. A couple trips to the grocery store and we were all set for several days of cooking on the grill and enjoying the deck.
